About: I have owned one dog after the other since I was 6 years of age, with my current 2nd dog who’s a boxer. My dog is a very rambunctious type who I can’t get enough of. I am available to work full time however will be working as a door dasher as well. So when I’m house sitting or coming for visits staying for a prolonged amount of time isn’t ideal but I will accept an increased price if necessary. Every morning I take my dog out for a walk followed by a bowl of food. I’m very familiar with wet and dry food, as well as medication taken via orally. My pup is also an aged fella, so any experience with older dogs having trouble getting up and down the stairs I can handle as well.

“This was our first time using Rover. This option was way better than doing boarding. Our dogs got to remain at home comfortable with David. A week long vacation without having to worry about them was amazing. I loved the multiple pictures throughout the day. We will be definitely using David again he was awesome.”

“Maegan was great with Bailey while we were away for a few days. She gave him lots of attention, kept us updated and sent the cutest pictures. We are very happy with how well everything went.”

About: I have owned a dog my entire life. I have lived with four, including our old foster dog. I am a kitten foster with Humane Indiana since 2020. Since then, I have fostered over 30 kittens. I am used to the hard work that comes with taking care of animals, and more than happy to do so. I am currently a full time college student so will have time to take care of your pet before, after, and in between my classes. My weekends are pretty free. I have a fenced in backyard along with one dog (king charles spaniel). He is very friendly but can stay separate if need be. I have four cats that are used to other animals with my fostering experience. They will stay away from dogs or can be in the basement.

“Andrew is a godsend. We've had him to sit for our Rhodesian ridgeback and our Staffy twice, for 4 days and 10 days, respectively, and we have both times come back to 2 happy and healthy dogs, who looked at us like we had only been gone a short while. They had neither gained stress weight nor become too skinny, and we could tell Andrew had been diligent taking them out frequently. He had mixed in their favorite food toppers and given them their medicine as we asked. He is a kind person, and you can tell he thinks deeply about things, and people's and pets' feelings. He even swept and tidied up, got our mail from our mailbox, and had our packages all neatly inside. He is as the proverb says, a good traveler who leaves no mark, leaving our house exactly as, if not better than, he found it. I can't say enough about the peace of mind Andrew has given us, especially the second time, since we already knew we could trust him. We were able to go to Disney World and have a truly magical time because we knew he was caring for our dogs and our house as we would have done.”

About: I've had dogs ever since I was born, I've walked and played with them. I've been dog sitting for neighbors since 2018. I've also volunteered at local shelters to help get the animals adopted by walking them around, and I helped keep their cages and surrounding area clean. I don't have any other commitments I'm obligated to, other than previously scheduled family engagements. I am happy to spend all my time towards caring for your pets! I won't take clients' pets in my home due to me having dogs and one of them is reactive towards other animals. However, this gives me better opportunity to bond with your pets as they won't be stressed from having to leave their home. If you have cameras in or around the home, please let me know prior to me entering, and I am perfectly fine with that! I can follow directions and schedules to a tee, and am happy to do what is needed to give extra love to your pets!

About: I’ve grown up in a house with 2 cats and 2 dogs my whole life and often house sit for my friends dogs. I’m used to big dogs and also high energy dogs being that I have one of each. I am mostly free during the week as being and only online college student where I work a part time job of only 2-3 days a week at most with it being pretty flexible I have a fenced in back yard with 4 friendly dogs that all love to play. Love talking the dogs out for walks and what not. I take my two everywhere I can with me.

About: As a dog sitter, my dedication to providing personalized care tailored to each dog's unique needs sets me apart. With a background in having dogs, I work well with puppies, helping them develop good manners and basic obedience skills. Additionally, I have experience in senior dog care, ensuring older dogs receive the attention, patience, and gentle care they deserve. My commitment to creating a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for every furry friend entrusted to my care is unmatched. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. Each day, I allocate specific time slots for feeding, exercise, and playtime with the dogs under my care. I prioritize their well-being by ensuring they receive regular walks, and plenty of love and attention. Flexibility is key, allowing me to accommodate any unexpected changes or emergencies that may arise while always prioritizing the health and happiness of the pets in my care. In both scenarios, whether caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for the pets. In my home, I ensure that it's pet-friendly, with designated areas for eating, sleeping, and playing. I maintain a consistent routine, including regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions. I also provide plenty of mental stimulation through interactive toys and games. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect their routines and preferences while providing attentive and reliable care. This includes following feeding schedules, adhering to any medication regimens, and maintaining the cleanliness of the home. I strive to keep the pets' environment as consistent and stress-free as possible while their owners are away.

About: I am a future veterinarian looking to gain experience with all kinds of fur babies. I am skilled in brushing, nail trimming and administering medications to cats and dogs. I am loving to all pets (even those who don’t love me back 😆) and I am willing to have frequent communication with owners to ensure they are comfortable with leaving their baby in my care. Pet care is a daily thing for me, if I’m not looking after my own animals I am looking after loved pets at my job. Helping animals helps me, it’s something I can’t imagine NOT doing. My availability on Sundays is typically all day, most tuesdays I am only available until 12:30pm the latest and the same goes for Thursdays. Saturdays I am available after 2pm. Thank you for being patient with a working college student I truly appreciate it. 🐾❤️ While I do not offer pet care in my own home, I am willing to accommodate any type of animal needs. I will care for them to their owners content and be sure to provide them with updates and photos. I am very open to communication and redirection, if I do something that displeases a client I would like to know immediately so we can prevent miscommunications in the future. If the clients want I am willing to meet before hand to discuss plans on caring for their animal.

“Heather is amazing! Right away my mind was at ease with having her stay with our pup. Our dog was relaxed and happy upon us returning and I know she was well taken care of and enjoyed her time with Heather. Will 100% be booking in the future 😊”

About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was a kid. Growing up I had an adorable pit bull that I would feed, walk, and bathe regularly. My family and friends also had cats that I would occasionally watch and feed as well. Recently I have excelled with sticking to strict dietary restrictions for a senior dog I sat to also helping leash train and walk my siblings 6 month old dog. I'm currently working part time and expect to attend college when the semester starts in late August. Luckily between my class schedule and work schedule I have more than enough flexibility to provide the service you and your pet need. I have personal dog walking experience and can provide a comfortable walking environment for your pet. I also have experience with rowdy dogs and can safely handle playtime.

About: I have life long experience with multiple cats and small dogs. Although I am a big dog lover too, I have more experience with small pups. My experience with dogs has included training a puppy with potty training, twice daily dog walking with waste cleanup, appropriate feeding, regular vet visits, grooming, and lots of love and play! I have pet sitting experience through friends and family. When they are out on vacations, I am their go-to! I care for each pet as if they are my own. I have experience with an exotic animal; a Tortoise named Shelly, who I lived with for a year. I have sitted her outside of living with her and gave her scheduled shots for her condition. I am currently available all day on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. Tuesdays and Wednesdays I am available for drop in visits before 11 am. Saturdays I am available after 5:30 PM. Fridays are my days off. I always make sure to respect a pet’s boundaries. I give them some time to sniff me out, get a feeling about me, and match that energy. Some animals are very playful and affectionate, and I will return that! Other animals are a bit more shy, and I will let them come to me for any cuddles and affection. I never want to make an animal feel uncomfortable, especially in their own environment. I make sure animals are fed on time and have a full belly with plenty of hydration! I ensure litter boxes are cleaned daily. Walks for dogs are 1-2x daily with time outside playing after potty time if that is what they desire. Your pet will feel the love (and lots of pets and head scratches, as I am an expert in that) if they give me the cues that they are comfortable with that. ♥️

Aurora L.
“In June of 2023, I hired a little high-schooler to work part time in our kennels at Griffith Animal Hospital. Quiet and a little shy she took right to the job. Taking care of the animals as directed. Walking, feeding, and keeping their cages clean. Soon she advanced to vet assistant, helping our vet with all of our clients needs. Including injections, blood drawl and surgery. She wants to be a veterinarian and has dedicated herself to Animal medicine. She worked every day she could between classes, and graduated. Now she is taking the needed classes for college and still working. She is responsible and honest! She has a team of coworkers that know her like I do. She also came from a wonderful family, who raised her with great values. I highly recommend this ambitious, reliable and trustworthy young lady.”

Heather J.

“Heather is amazing! Right away my mind was at ease with having her stay with our pup. Our dog was relaxed and happy upon us returning and I know she was well taken care of and enjoyed her time with Heather. Will 100% be booking in the future 😊”

Gabriela L.
“Gaby was a wonderful dog sitter to my senior dog, Annabelle. She was always attentive to Annabelle, and made sure to give her the best care possible. Annabelle had a few skin issues in her last few years, and Gabriella always made sure to throughly bath her and give the appropriate medications.”

Amanda S.
“I’ve known Amanda for many years, and have seen her provide quality care for so many pets during the time we’ve been friends. She has experience with senior cats as well as kittens, and has always made sure that the cats in her care are comfortable and loved. Amanda is diligent about cleaning litter boxes, providing play time, and seeking out/providing medical care when needed. I’ve trusted her to check on my snake (a ball python) when I’ve been away, and she’s even cared for a tortoise who required shots! Amanda also has experience with big and small dogs, and is great about making sure they receive walks and lots of love and attention. Despite being an animal lover at heart, Amanda is also great at knowing when to give an animal some space and respecting their boundaries, which has made my sassy cat warm up to her very quickly. I’ve been a Rover sitter myself for a few years now, and I wholeheartedly can say that Amanda is one of the best sitters you could possibly choose for your critters!”
