About: I have owned dogs my entire life and held many dog-sitting jobs throughout college. I am very intuitive and know the Capital Region well, so I am able to find the best walks and treatment specific to your pups! I enjoy being active and am excited at the opportunity to keep your dog healthy and active as well. I also have a car so getting to and from your home will be done with ease so I can focus my time on caring for your dogs with long walks, playing and feeding. I work remotely, so I have some flexibility with scheduling. I am open to dog-sitting at your house as I have done for up to two week periods of time for families with many dogs throughout DC. About: Hi, I would love to care for your dog! I have over 15 years of professional dog training experience, both in the DC area and on Long Island. During those years, I did extensive dog sitting. My approach is always loving, and caters to the personality and needs of your particular dog. I am just getting back into the business of pet sitting. I was a caregiver for my mom for a long time and did not the time. I do have a cat, but she prefers dogs to other cats! I am currently retired from a career in journalism and social work. She then would take time to bring them in for treats and got down with them for petting time which they loved. Cats didn’t go out but they also received treats and pets. In that time I had adopted a dog from rescue that was very nervous about new people and Polly was very receptive to working with him that in no time he was happy to see her.
