“Ayla was a great sitter for my dog and senior cat for a long weekend. She came for an interview before the booking where she was pleasant to talk to and my dog warmed up to her a bit. During the booking, she took great care of our babies. Her communication was excellent. Will definitely book again.”

“Sara was fantastic! She gladly agreed to meet us in advance for a meet and greet and our dog immediately gave her kisses! A good sign for our usually hesitant dachshund. :) She made us feel extremely comfortable leaving our baby in her hands and didn’t flinch at my paranoia regarding our sticky door lock. She arrived on time for all scheduled visits, stayed plenty long enough for Madeiline to do her business and still get some snuggles in. She was super responsive and sent multitude of pictures of their adventures. Arrived home to a happy and relaxed puppy. Would definitely recommend Sara to any other dog parents out there and will be using her again ourselves. Thank you Sara!”

“Hope took such good care of my two kitties! This was my first time leaving them alone with a sitter and any anxiety I had about it went away immediately with Hope. She was prompt with a response to any message I sent, and I came back home to two happy cats and my home as clean as I left it. She sent me adorable updates each visit (2x a day) and was consistent with her schedule for them. I would recommend Hope to anyone!”

“I was so glad that Stephanie was able to come over on short notice to do a Drop-In visit with Rosie. I sent her a whole lot of details all at once and she assured me that everything would be fine. she was right. She sent me several photos of Rosie looking so happy which made me feel so good. :) Thank you, Stephanie!”

About: I have been a Petco certified dog trainer since I was 18 and have dog/house sat many times since! I treat your dog like family and your home with respect! I am flexible! I am available Mondays and Thursdays all day. Saturdays I get off work at 2:00pm I work 9-5 during the rest of the days of the week. But I always need an excuse to use PTO so watching your fur baby won’t be problem! I just need a two week notice Quality time will be spent with your fur baby to make sure they keep busy. Plenty of playtime and mental stimulation. I love using puzzle toys, snuffles and other things to get a dogs mind working!

About: I have a lot of experience working with a reactive and anxious rescue pit-bull mix…my sweet baby girl, Abby!! It’s been a process but she’s made huge strides! So I’m quite familiar with having to be extremely vigilant on walks, training treats on hand, knowing when to cross the street to avoid triggers…etc. I fostered an adorable blue nose pitbull puppy! I house trained him and worked with him for a year. That was one of the hardest things I ever had to do…let that handsome boy go to his forever home! I also had a dog when I was growing up. The only way we were going o get her was if I was willing to take most of the care of her and I happily obliged! I was also the pet sitter in the neighborhood. I love all dogs! I’m currently not working so I have quite an open schedule! I’ve been a teacher for 21 years and I’m taking a break to do what I love…spending time with my girl, Abby, volunteering at Save-A-Pet, and helping people out by walking their dogs! I’m not able to have pets in my home because Abby doesn’t get along well with other dogs. I’m happy to do whatever a client wants me to do with their pet! I live a very active lifestyle, so if your pet needs to go for a few miles run not a problem! Also happy to just give scratches and make your pet feel comfortable while you’re away!

“Alyssa was fabulous with my two 6 year old kitties and if I could give her 6 stars I would! We were gone for 8 days and leaving them was so hard, but I knew they were in wonderful hands. Each day I received photos of Melody and Hoover along with notes about how they were doing, leaving no doubt in my mind that she was the right person for their care. She went 'above and beyond' which settled any uneasiness about leaving them. Even down to unforseen traveling delays coming home, she was there to lend a hand if necessary. I will definitely use her again.”

About: Hi there! I have been watching animals for the past 20 years (both my own and friends'). I currently have a cat named Kona and a dog named Indy. Kona is full of spunk and has a great personality. She has experience living with dogs and is well socialized. Indy is still a playful puppy and a bit of a goofball. He’s well socialized and loves to play with other dogs (both large and small). In terms of care experience, I have experience with training and building social confidence. I also have significant experience working with senior cats and dogs: mobility issues, medications, blindness/deafness, seizures, and incontinence. As a recent puppy adopter, I also have experience with younger animals and can help with socialization, training, etc. I’m currently working hybrid, so have flexibility for walks and drop in visits. I have a preference for walks in the early morning and late afternoon / evening. I have a fenced in yard and live near the 606 trail. We often take walks around the neighborhood and play a bit in the backyard.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs large and small. I worked at a veterinarian throughout college for 5 years. I provide unique care, a warm heart and a genuine love for dogs. Your pets will soon feel like my own. I know how stressful it is to leave your pets while you are away or busy. Rest assured your pets will not only be safe but also happy! I provide updates as much as you would like and want your pup to feel comfortable while you are away. I work for home 3 days a week and will be available to spend time with your dog as much or as little as you would like. I have a large yard for your dog to play and a nice neighborhood for daily walks. I do not have any pets of my own but will be happy to take your dog out to play. Your pet becomes my pet for their short stay. Just share with me your rules and we will be good to go!

“If I could give Julie 10 stars, I would. She was amazing and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for my furbaby. She was consistent and shared updates with photos twice a day. She even managed to get my shy boy to socialize and play! Julie is a gem and I look forward to having her sit again. Thanks for everything Julie!! :)”

“Such a great person and loving heart with our furbabies! Brittany was able to accommodate us when no one else would schedule wise! Will continue to use and refer to everyone we know! Thank you again so much for being great!”

“Mikayla was great! She is our next door neighbor and was able to meet up beforehand to meet the girls before walking them around lunchtime the following days. Very respectful and responsible!”

About: Ive never not been around dogs! I grew up with Malteses from 0-18 and as soon as I moved away for school I rescued my Husky mix and raised him from 5 weeks old. I’ve cared for many types of dogs, including rescues with troubled pasts, and high maintenance elderly dogs. I spent countless hours volunteering at my local humane society where I encountered & cared for so many animals with their own sets of needs. I’m happy to administer medicine, work on potty training, teaching basic commands, and anything else your pets might need. I do travel 3-4 days out of the week for work and frequently use Rover myself to find care for my dog. I know the struggle of finding and booking a sitter. While I’m only available part time each week, I strive to keep my availability up to date to make things easier for you. Due to my landlord’s rules, I do not offer boarding in my home. And due to me also being a Dog Mom I can’t agree to do overnight stays in your home as then I’d need to find care for my dog. I’m happy to provide drop ins, walks, and checking on your home. As far as care, I love detailed lists! Tell me everything there is to know about your pet, no amount of information is ever enough to share with me. The more details you share, the more I’m able to provide you the best service for you and the level of care that your pet deserves.

“Amy was very sweet to our dog. We left on a week long vacation and because he is labeled as a “difficult” dog no one can keep him overnight with other dogs. Amy visited him 3 times a day and made sure he was happy. We didn’t have to worry about him like we always do. She came on time, never had a call telling us she couldn’t make it. It was wonderful. Will will be seeking out Amy again in the future.”

About: Though I don’t have as many years of experience, I’m committed to caring for all fur babies as my own! I have previously cared for new born pups and senior dogs, and I love the joys and challenges each age range brings. Some specific things I’ve helped with are support with potty training, and administering medicine. I am currently working part time, and i’m also a part time student, so most of my availability will be for the weekends! But I will have some midweek availability in the mornings and evenings! I’m a very quick learner and will always do my very best to accommodate even the most specific needs for your pets. I’m very patient, and will strive to make your pets feel as safe and loved as possible! I am a great communicator and can provide updates/pictures as frequently as you require.

About: I have owned and been around dogs my whole life and can provide loving and reliable care for your pup! I am an avid hiker and outdoorsman so I can ensure your dog gets all the activity and tlc he or she needs! I am a research scientist whose work entails a heavy remote component so my schedule is very flexible. I often take my dog Popeye for an hour walk in the morning around 8 and with shorter walks throughout the day and give him one more big play session at night once I’m done working. I heavily emphasize active engagement with my dog as with others. I believe dogs should engage in active play and social interaction as much as possible to live their best lives. Nothing is more heartbreaking than when a dog has to stay pent up all day with no stimulation

“Sara took excellent care of our two dogs while we were away! The daily report cards were informative on their habits and behavior, but also sprinkled with humor and true affection for the dogs. I know they felt comfortable with her, which made our time away a little bit easier. She followed our care instructions, asked and answered questions, and was easy to reach if I needed her. I will definitely use her again in the future because I know she cares for Jimmy and Molly like her own. Highly Recommend!!”

Shalynn B.Star Sitter
“Shalynn has been my English Mastiff's trainer for over a year and we are currently working towards the Canine Good Citizen. Shalynn is extremely knowledgeable and passionate with all pets. She stayed at my home with our pup, two cats and two lizards for a week while we were on a family vacation. I was very relieved knowing that our pets were safe and in great hands as she sent me pictures throughout the week. Shalynn's love for animals shows in her knowledge, enthusiasm and outgoing personality! I would highly recommend Shalynn as your trusted pet caregiver!!”

Valerie B.
“I have known Valerie for over a decade now as a friend and previous co-worker. One thing I know about her is... she LOVES dogs. Not just her own, but ANY dog. If your dog is lucky enough to be in her care, it will be spoiled and well taken care of! She's responsible, caring, has a huge heart, and truly loves animals. I wish her dog, Abby, could write a testimonial because it would read something like, "My mom loves to take me on long runs and walks in nature. Sometimes I get tired, so she pushes me in a buggy, but just getting outside to enjoy the fresh air does me so much good. My mom is loving, nurturing, and will take GREAT care of your dog because she takes wonderful care of me!"”

Hannah J.
“Hannah has grown up caring for her pets. Early on she spoke of becoming a vet and never hesitated accompanying her pets to their vet appointments/surgeries. Her childhood books would featured dogs or horses. Losing her first SCWT at 3 yrs old, she begged to have another SCWT in our family. By her 8th Christmas, a puppy was promised and delivered that following June. In transitioning between home and college, she rescued a SCWT and they have become close travel companions. Hannah is mindful of the care and energy pet companions require and is an advocate for their well-being. She is nurturing, responsible, anticipates, plans, and sees tasks to completion.”

Danya A.
“Danya took care of our 3 dogs at our home while we were away for a long weekend. She was attentive and caring and shared updates with us along the way. She asked questions as needed and followed our instructions. I would highly recommend Danya for your pet care needs!”

Brookelynn S.
“Brookelynn was great! I think my dog is more excited to see her than he is to see me. I always leave a detailed sheet of instructions for my sitters and Brookelynn is the only one who ever actually follows it. While she’s not available 24/7 for pet sitting I always try to snatch her up whenever she is! She is mine and Simba’s FAVORITE sitter! Can’t say enough positive things about her. So heartbroken that she moved away, but Illinois just got the best sitter ever!!!”
