About: We've always had fur babies until now. We had to let our last pet cross the rainbow bridge at 17 yrs old. We rescued him when he was 5. Such a sweet boy!! We've also had German Shepherds, a Beagle, Rabbits, and Guinea pigs. Experience with Puppies and Senior dogs. FYI--I tend to be a bit over protective. I was able to retire early, so I'm home ALOT! Home is my happy place. My husband of 31 yrs still works a few days a week but is also home often and loves animals. We have a fenced in backyard with grass areas, and a pool. I'm very protective and would take your baby out front on leash, and out back on leash or under strict supervision, whichever you dictate. We have a large front yard and side yard and live on a quiet dead end street which is perfect for walks. We also have a fairly large home where small dogs can get plenty of indoor exercise. Home is my happy place! I retired early so I'm home most of the time. My husband of 31 yrs still works a few days a week but is home other than that. He loves animals too! I have a fenced in back yard and a large front & side yard. I'm over protective and will keep your pet on leash outside and well supervised.

About: Hello, I recently moved back home after finishing my Master’s in Plant Sciences at The University of Tennessee. I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have had at least one dog in my house since I was a baby. My family had a Pomeranian for 15 years. We were able to rescue and care for a beagle until the end of last year. Back at home in the Bristol, my family currently has a 16 year old hound mix. My sister has a three legged dog that I fostered at the beginning of 2020. I have fostered with YWAC for a year, and I have gained so much experience working with dogs with behavioral and medical needs. I am more than happy to treat your pet as my own and treat it with the best care I am able to when I am needed! I am currently working out at South Holston Lake part time. With this arrangement, I have designated time for my work responsibilities while also maintaining availability for additional commitments. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of taking on extra responsibilities and am confident in my ability to balance both professional and other commitments effectively. Please feel free to discuss specific timing and scheduling needs, and I will do my best to accommodate and coordinate accordingly. Ensuring the well-being of both pets and their home is a top priority for me. I approach home care with the utmost respect, treating each space as if it were my own. I will diligently follow any specific instructions provided by the pet owners, such as feeding schedules, medication administration, and any other routine tasks. Maintaining a clean and tidy environment is essential, and I am committed to regular cleaning, including pet-related areas and any messes that may occur. Security is paramount, and I will conscientiously secure doors, windows, and any other access points to guarantee the safety of both the home and its occupants. Communication is key, and I will provide regular updates to pet owners, ensuring peace of mind during their time away. Overall, I strive to create a comfortable, secure, and loving atmosphere for both pets and their cherished home.

Bryan M.
“I first met Jacob M. at our local animal shelter, and it's there I saw their incredible, innate gift with animals. While many volunteers would rush in, Jacob took the time to truly connect, and it was amazing to watch them work their magic. I remember one particularly shy cat named Zeb, who had been with us for weeks and wouldn't come out from under his blanket for anyone. Jacob would sit quietly by his kennel, reading aloud in a gentle voice, until one day Zeb cautiously came out and rubbed against their hand. It was a testament to Jacob's patience and calm energy. Then there was Copper, a high-energy dog who was a little overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Jacob was the only person who could take Copper on a walk without a struggle. They had a natural way of making him feel safe, and watching them run and play together was proof of the special bond Jacob forms with animals. And it's not just dogs and cats. They also helped with Tucker, a nervous rabbit, who learned to trust them after just a few days of gentle handling and quiet reassurance. Jacob’s ability to connect with animals of all temperaments and species is truly remarkable. They don’t just care for pets; they understand them. I couldn't imagine a better, more compassionate person to trust with the well-being of your own pets.”

Malissa C.
“Malissa is the best person to watch my 3 cats. She even fed my lizard for me which a lot of people won’t do. She made sure they got lots of love and had plenty of food and water. She is also a great communicator! I know that my animals will be in good hands with her.”

Jacqueline G.

“Jackie is very easy to work with and she understands our dogs needs! Would recommend!”

Ali S.

“Ali is the best! Our dog absolutely loves her.”

Lexie W.

“Lexie has fostered numerous special needs dogs. Two that had to have a leg amputated. She has a huge heart for dogs and such a unique love for animals in general. She has found dogs on the side of the road and brings them home. I know this because I’m her mom. I’ve seen her cry when they find a caring home and get adopted out. We’ve adopted several because our family gets attached to them. She makes regular visits to animal shelters just to visit and love on homeless dogs.”

Amanda I.

“Amanda responded very quickly to my request and has been nothing but nice and professional! She took lots of pictures of my baby when watching her and kept me updated every day. We will definitely be using her the next time we need someone to watch our cat!”
