“Chelsea is reliable, prompt and communicates well. She uses the Rover app to provide helpful photos for the care items that mean the most to me, especially sweet photos of my kitty. Despite some initial evasion after I first departed, my kitty came to trust her very quickly. ++cj”

“Savanah was very accomodating with my last minute request. My dogs loved her and were looking for her after she left each time. She sent the cutest pics that really showed she spent time with each dog and loved on them. I will definitely book again.”
“She went above and beyond for me when I had car trouble and couldn’t be back the day that I had planned on coming back home! She was super flexible and very understanding. I genuinely appreciated it. I don’t know what I would have done without her. 10/10, 5 STARS, I would recommend! My animals all loved her and she was very thoughtful and communicative. 😊👏”

“Christy catered to a last-minute request for a couple of drop-ins while I was out of town for a couple of nights. I had already booked her for a longer stay in the future, but I’m glad I added this additional session so she could get familiar with my Blueberry and he could get used to her. Needless to say, he adapted very well. Christy communicated very proactively and sent pictures often. Very much appreciated care for my baby.”

“Katelyn was amazing pet sitting for our puppy and kitties. She took care of everything asked of her and communicated effectively throughout. Couldn’t ask for a better experience and definitely recommend her!”

“My cat was very calm and trusting with Grace from her first introduction even though Spider is now older and more cautious. She therefore allowed Grace to brush her during visits which was my key request. ++cj”

“Olivia has been doing drop-in visits for my puppy for the past few months and has been amazing! She is reliable, communicative, and always makes me feel at ease when I’m away. She always makes sure my puppy is well taken care of, gets plenty of attention, and keeps me updated during visits. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter!”

“Amanda was amazing from the first meeting to the end of my vacation. Communication (pics included) was great. She wasn’t afraid to ask questions and share concerns. My boy Lotus is a scaredy-cat and quite shy but he took to Amanda day one. I felt very confident my babies were very well cared for while I was away. Great relief knowing I didn’t have to worry about them and could focus on fun.”

“Natasha is a wonderful sitter. This is our second time using her and our pups absolutely love her coming over. Always such a blessing having her come check on our dogs when out.”

“I was fortunate to find Alyssa to take care of my two cats so I could take an opportunity to get out of town for five days. She was great at following my somewhat complicated feeding instructions, spent extra time with the cats, sent photos every day and even dealt with some unexpected circumstances quickly and thoroughly. It’s obvious that Alyssa really loves taking care of pets (in addition to her own) and I’m lucky to have found such a responsible care taker for my kitties! No hesitance to have her help again :)”

“This was the first time we had McKenzie care for our senior dog, and we couldn't have been more pleased! Everything went extremely well while we were away. Would highly recommend and would definitely use her again! Thank you McKenzie!!”

About: I'm currently a stay at home mom of an 8 year old girl. We have a dog of our own right now that is a Corgi/shepard mix named Harley. I've always had dogs and cats my entire life and love taking care of animals and going on walks with them. I am originally from NJ and just moved to Tn in April. I worked at an animal shelter in NJ where I took care of the dogs and some newborn kittens. I've don't have much experience with dogs with disabilities but that won't stop me from wanting to work with them. My dog Harley is a very friendly dog and loves to play so if your dog is friendly she'd love to meet them too!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
