About: I have been doing check ins with family friends for years for a range of animals. I have a 1.5 year old cocker spaniel that I also take care for and love dearly so I know the value pets have and cherish each one I baby sit. I’m currently a full time student that will drop in before and after class. I am happy to play with your cat or dog as long as they need with my time with them. I can easily crate your dog if needed and can clean up any messes they may create. Keeping their comfort with a new person is my top priority so I’m happy to play outside with them or cozy up on the couch or whatever they may need that day.

About: I’ve watched neighbors pets as a young kid and have always loved meeting new animals. I think it’s important that the animals keep to a as normal schedule as possible to mimic every day life. I’m always around and can stay as long as required for your animals. I also have looked after family pets when family goes away. I understand strangers can be terrifying, but I’d love to be a friend or extended family for others pets, someone they can look forward to seeing in the day to know that they won’t be alone. Hi there my name is Brittany, I’m 28 years old and my pup is Mika, he’s 2! I’m new to the Tri Cities area and have been here for a little over a year. I was recently diagnosed with a chronic illness: gastroparesis, so obtaining a full time job has been difficult. I have been put on some medication that helps the majority of my issues, but I can’t manage a full time job, unfortunately. I’m available all days of the week other than Fri-Sun where I work part time in Johnson City from 10am-4pm. I’d love to be able to spend that free time with your babies and give them the time they need to run around or just to give them some company since I have a lot of time on my hands. I grew up with dogs my whole life and have also been around cats that my grandmother has had. I have my one pup, Mika and my boyfriend has his two dogs. It’s been rough not being able to do much, but furry friends always make me smile and provide wonderful, uplifting energy to myself as well as to you I can imagine. I spend a lot of time with my pet, whether it’s taking them outside to run around in our fenced in yard, lounging on the couch with a movie, playing with toys and balls. My dog is up to date on all his vaccinations and is neutered. He goes to Paws of Hope vet in Bluff City. I’m very knowledgeable in dachshund care, I grew up with them and have one of my own so I have ramps in my house and understand the safety they require for their backs.

She updated me throughout the weekend to let me know how the dogs were doing. One of our dogs had gotten sick a few days before she arrived so she took special care to keep a close eye on him and make sure he was doing okay which I really appreciated. The house was also spotless when we got home and the dogs seemed very content and happy so I could tell they had been well cared for. I would welcome Megan back any time and definitely recommend her for your sitting needs! 22 Nov - 25 Nov 2023 This is the second time Megan has sat for us, and we were thrilled to have her back with Abby for another visit! Megan is so responsive and easy to coordinate plans with. We were so glad they were able to stay here over the Thanksgiving holiday and take great care of our two dogs while we were with family. They kept us updated every day and the dogs seemed very happy and content when we got home so I could tell they were well taken care of and got lots of love. I allowe her to stay in my home and in return she takes care of my two dogs, (German Shepard and Australian Shepard) Cleans the house, and alerts me of any thing that I need to know of. I have never felt like I had a need to lock up or hide any of my possessions because Megan really is the most trustworthy and reliable person I know. I have given her a key of her own to keep in case of any emergency.
