I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice! Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

About: I'm currently a stay at home mom of an 8 year old girl. We have a dog of our own right now that is a Corgi/shepard mix named Harley. I've always had dogs and cats my entire life and love taking care of animals and going on walks with them. I am originally from NJ and just moved to Tn in April. I worked at an animal shelter in NJ where I took care of the dogs and some newborn kittens. I've don't have much experience with dogs with disabilities but that won't stop me from wanting to work with them. My dog Harley is a very friendly dog and loves to play so if your dog is friendly she'd love to meet them too!

About: I have had a passion for taking care of animals my whole life. I have been pet sitting for my friends and family for about 3 years now! I have dealt with animals of all ages, and have experience with animals that require medications be given to them. I also have experience with fish and guinea pigs. I can check in on them multiple times a day!! I will let your dogs outside to use the bathroom, clean your cat’s litter box, play and cuddle with them, and make sure their food and water bowels stay clean.

About: I have took care of dogs and cats since i was 9 years old. I have always had animals in my house and I love to take care of them. I have looked after my friend’s and family’s cats and dogs both. I am free most of the time! I want to find a way to help others by also doing something I love which is taking care of dogs. I watch after my dogs daily and would love to share the love I have for my dogs to yours. I do not have a fenced in yard, however i do own leashes that I would take dogs out on in order to insure nothing happens to your fur babies!

About: No animal is too much for me! Snakes, rats, anything! I love any species of animal, and no animal is too hard for me to take care of! The rarer the better! Just give me the rundown of what your pet needs, and I can do it! No matter how nasty or scary! I can care for pets as much as you need! Obviously, I need to take care of my little kitty, Binx, but I will always find time for your pets as well! Any pet is as precious as my own to me! I care for my kitty, Binx, like he is my own son. He is spoiled, and everyone loves him! He is the kindest kitty and was raised to know what and what not to do. He's a smart little fella, and the way I raised him is definitely a huge factor in this.

About: I have gained experience dog sitting for friends and neighbors as early as elementary school! I love all animals from chickens to frogs, cats, and dogs! I'm a college athlete, so I will work around my school and practice schedule! Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays will be the best days for me! About: Hi! I’m currently a DPT student, which means my days can be busy—but spending time with animals is something I genuinely look forward to. I’ve always had a love for pets and understand how important it is to know they’re in good hands. Even with a full academic schedule, I’m organized, responsible, and intentional with my time. When I’m with your pet, they’ll have my full attention—whether that’s getting their energy out on a walk or just relaxing and feeling comfortable at home. Pet care is also a meaningful way for me to help pay for school, so I’m grateful for every opportunity and take that responsibility seriously. Im a current physical therapy student but my summer class schedule is lighter. I don’t have full days of class so I have periods to leave for walking and potty breaks and I’m home most of the day Fri - Sunday now! If they are up for it, I can take them on trips around JC and to the dog park (I love off leash!) I can also be available for any overnight visits, and am usually free for a whole weekend. My apartment is close to downtown so has many walkable areas for your pets. There’s a big field next to my apartment that’s perfect for potty breaks. I can separate the upstairs from the downstairs if they need to be kept away from certain rooms, but they have plenty of room to roam in my apartment! In my clients home I can provide any services as needed such as walking them, playing in the yard, or crating.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. With the limited hours available there, I thought we could try this avenue as well. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. We love walking dogs, playing fetch, petting them, and providing lots of love. We enjoy playing with cat toys, and giving them plenty of attention as well.
