“Can’t recommend Hannah enough! She has been SO great to work with, has the best yard for playing, sent lots of pictures/updates, and our dog loves the whole family! We’re so happy to have found her, and are looking forward to more stays in the future!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life! I’ve done everything from fostering to raising litters of puppies and kittens. I’m an active person so there is no shortage of playtime. I’m very dedicated to providing the love and support pets need! Caring for pets is always a priority of mine as I currently own a dog and cat myself. I work part time so my schedule is very flexible. I have a spare bedroom in my house with a large mattress for pets to rest on. There is space for a crate if needed. My backyard is very spacious. My area is fairly quiet as I live outside the city. I also have a very friendly dog and cat so your pets can have new friends (can be separated if needed).
“Thomas was AMAZING! He took such great care of our sweet Luna! He sent updates every day which we really appreciated when leaving Luna with someone! He was very responsive and communicated promptly! I definitely recommend Thomas and will be booking with him again!”

“Samuel and Erica were great! I got lots of pictures and feedback. Samuel and Erica have Lana well trained as others have stated, and it’s evident. Moose settled in with them pretty quickly. Moose is small and didn’t want to play. They both learned to peacefully co-exist just as Samuel and Erica have experienced with other small pups. I highly recommend them!”

“Cassandra was amazing with our pup. She sent so many pictures, videos, and updates everyday. We could tell our sweet girl was well taken care of and loved while we were gone. We were so thankful knowing our girl was in good hands and will definitely use Cassandra in the future.”

“Amanda did a wonderful job! Very friendly. Took great care of our two dogs. And provided an update every day we were gone, sometimes including photos. Will definitely use her again.”

“We were heartbroken when our normal sitter we found on here moved away! We tried a few others on here and none loved them like Jessica did… until now! I felt completely at ease as soon as we walked in and Lucy made herself right at home. Alexa has kept me updated the whole time and loved her like she was her own. She has become our new favorite dog person!”

“This was our first time using Rover and really leaving our dog with someone we didn’t know so we wanted to be sure she would be safe and loved. Booking with Lori was the best decision we could have made! Her love for animals and experience with special needs dogs was evident from the moment we began speaking and the care our dog received from her is by far better than other past trusted sources we have used. We were nervous as I’m sure most people are when leaving their fur babies behind, but on the first evening we knew she was in great hands and we could finally relax. Our dog has one eye and is losing sight in the other and has some allergies, and Lori cared for her perfectly! She kept us updated with photos, messages, and videos and took her on plenty of walks and gave her all the love. Plus our dog really enjoyed being around hers as well! This experience was beyond our expectations and if we need to leave our dog in the future, Lori will be the first person we check with! Thank you for taking such great care of Osha and for making our first vacation in over 3 years the most peaceful experience we’ve ever had!”

“You will be very impressed with Erica. My Huckleberry Finn adores her! She will send you pictures and updates the whole time she has your fur baby. Also she takes them for walks and play time”
“Whitney is a Wonderful sitter. She took real good care of my Gilly and she worked with me on the spare of the minute requests. I definitely recommend her to anyone. I will Have her keep my Gilly again in the near future. ~ Sabrina”

“Very polite and punctual when picking up my fur baby. She communicated very well and sent pictures showing how much fun my baby was having!!! Will definitely be reaching out again when we need another sitter!!”

“Mikayla and Skyler were wonderful hosts to our little boy. We got frequent updates about Kiddo (his fuzzy eating habits and cute little nap time snores) with lots of pictures. I can say Kiddo was treated like their own. We got a happy and a tired pup back. They have a really vast open area where the furry ones can hang out. We would highly recommend Mikayla to any one we know.”

“Molly did a great job with our elderly dog. Pumpkin has medication requirements is deaf, has cataracts, and has some mobility issues. We know she was treated and cared for by Molly the same way we would do. Pumpkin may argue better (I have never taken her for a dog treat cone”

“My big lush of a dog had a great time with Sarah! I got pictures everyday which was great because I’ve never left Ursa before and I was very sad and nervous about it. I 100% recommend Sarah!”

“Melanie was able to take one of my dogs on short notice while I was in town visiting family. I very assuring to know I can entrust them to someone that has experience with rescues. I had no worry leaving her in Melanie’s hands! I will definitely reach out again if I need help with my dogs while in town!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
