About: I’ve had my own dog for about 4 years, so I’m used to the day-to-day stuff—walks, feeding, keeping a routine, and just paying attention to how they’re doing. I have a large fenced yard at my house so your dog will have a lot of room to play with! I’ve also watched pets for friends and family here and there. I’m pretty laid back, but I take instructions seriously and make sure pets are comfortable and taken care of. Happy to send updates and photos while you’re away. Whether your pet wants to play a lot or just chill, I can match their vibe. I’m a homemaker, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and a lot of availability during the day and evenings. I also have reliable transportation, so I can be consistent and on time. I take pet care seriously and make sure to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible. I pay attention to details, keep a clean and safe environment, and make sure your pet is comfortable and well cared for. About: I have a husky/ retriever mix named Ice. She’ is 3 years old. I also have a cat named Heidi that is 5 years old. If you’d like I can take your dog on walks, to the dog park, and on bike rides seasonally. The jetski rides are just for Ice though 😜 My hope is to eventually fill my schedule completely with pet care for when I don’t have clients scheduled for personal training at a gym. Due to living in a small apartment and having both a dog and cat I won’t be doing pet sitting out of my own home. But I’d be happy to watch pets at client’s home or at the dog park if the client prefers.
About: I have had pets for as long as I remember, from fish, dogs, cats, and even chickens! We’ve had small (a runt mountain curr) and big (four great pyrenees)! I’ve trained my babies myself, and have helped family and friends train theirs as well! I’m currently in school and working until 5 on days that I am free of classes, this means I’ll have plenty of time to play with your babies! About: I am going to school to school currently to become a veterinarian and I hopefully will get a job as a vet tech very soon! I have 3 dogs and a cat of my own and I take care of them everyday while the rest of my family is at work. I love to take my dogs on walks for about 30 minutes at least twice a day. I have a fenced in backyard and my dogs are very friendly and playful and love new friends! We have multiple crates if that is something necessary for your pet. My whole family has huge hearts when it comes to animals so your pet will be well taken care of!
About: I have been doing check ins with family friends for years for a range of animals. I have a 1.5 year old cocker spaniel that I also take care for and love dearly so I know the value pets have and cherish each one I baby sit. I’m currently a full time student that will drop in before and after class. I am happy to play with your cat or dog as long as they need with my time with them. I can easily crate your dog if needed and can clean up any messes they may create. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. So most of my jobs are me coming to your home whether that is a drop in or a full time boarding situation while you’re on vacation.

In the last 10 years I have been fostering retired racing grey hounds and huskies so I'm ready to give every dog in between the care and attention they deserve. I've seen dogs become less anxious when they are staying in their own home, in the neighborhood they know. They know you will eventually return and they dont need the transition time it takes for them to become comfortable in a unfamilar place. For that reason, I do like to promote house sitting as the least stressful method of boarding for nervious pets. Please let me know if you require any plants to watered as id be happy to help you in any other way I can. I prefer to keep my bookings to one dog or one family at a time. This is to ensure I give each dog my full attention to keep them safe and happy while yall are missing eachother! This means that I prefer walking in quiet neighborhoods instead of a park with more distractions so I can get familiar with your dog's responses and they can get familiar with me during our first few walks together. After a few walks, and your permission, we can go to dog parks where we slowly work up to being unleased. I strive for 2 or more walks a day during the summer, 3 or more walks a day during spring, fall, and winter. When we arent walking or playing outside, me and your pets will be chilling inside with 2 or more feedings a day. If you book on a holiday it is likely I will have freeze dried chicken or salmon wet food to give your pet as a special holiday treat! I feel that if its a human holiday, its also a special day for our pets because they're family.

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
