I moved to Elizabethton just before Thanksgiving to be with my parents and I became the primary caregiver for my father, who has dementia. It’s a responsibility I’m proud to take on. Getting out of the house to walk, play with, and fall in love with your pets is exactly what I need to stay balanced. Since I manage my dad’s daily tasks, I have a very flexible schedule and the time to truly focus on your fur-babies. I’m looking for that 'pet therapy' a reason to get out and about just as much as your pets are looking for a loving caregiver. I’ll be there whenever you need me to even in short notice!

Safety and trust are my top priorities. When I am in your home, I am respectful of your space and extremely vigilant about door safety and environment hazards. I am honest about my capabilities; I would never attempt a medical or care task if I wasn't 100% confident I could do it safely. My vehicle is also set up for safety, with plenty of room and when needed a leash that conect to their collar or harness then buckes to the backseat so your pets are secure while we are on the go.

To provide the best care, please share any food allergies, health conditions, or medications your pet requires. It's also helpful to know how they interact with new people and other animals, as well as any fears they may have (like loud noises or thunderstorms). If you have specific training goals or behaviors you'd like me to focus on, please let me know so I can be consistent with your hard work!
Ein typischer Tag
A typical day with me is all about whatever your pet enjoys most! All animals need exercise and enrichment, so I tailor my visits to their energy levels. If your dog loves the outdoors, we can go on 'mini-trips' or visit the park in my Sequoia which is large enough for a whole pack of dogs and already set up for their comfort. If your cat prefers a quiet lap to sit on, I’m happy to provide all the scratches and attention they want. My goal is to keep their routine as close to 'normal' as possible so they stay happy and stress-free.

II’ve loved animals my whole life and have a natural gift for connecting with them—especially cats! I have extensive experience with medical care, including giving injections, liquid medications, and complex pill schedules. I also previously held a Groomer’s License in Colorado, so I am very comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve cared for animals with everything from broken limbs to chronic diseases, so your pet is in very capable hands."

Mindy was great with Ruby and Brutus!!! Boxers can be a lot to deal with but she did a great job!! Would recommend her to everyone. Will definitely be asking her to watch double trouble again!🤣
I could tell my dog really enjoyed Mindy’s care and company! She’s great at communication and providing detailed reports and photos. I would absolutely contact her again to watch my dog and refer her to anyone needing her services!
