About: My whole life my parents have had dogs so I’ve grown up around dogs since I was an infant, this also means that they’ve had quite a few different puppies over the years and I have helped train them. I am the go to person for all of my friends and family. If they need someone to watch their pets while they’re gone I absolutely love seeing their animals and taking care of them and I treat everyone’s animals as if they’re my own and do the things that I would want others to do for my pets. I work as a Behavior Technician for ABA therapy during the week, with a flexible schedule so I’m able to come check on animas in between clients and such, and my weekends are free to watch others pets and give them plenty of love and attention. I care for pets in others homes as if they were my own pet, I will make sure to play with them and feed them and get them outside, but also just cuddle them if they like that and give them the space if they also would prefer that.

About: My name is Megan and I have a huge passion for taking care of animals! I previously worked at two veterinary clinic where I was the receptionist as well as a veterinary assistant. There I helped administer medical care to all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, lizards, birds and small rodents. In addition, I have volunteered at two animal shelters where I walked dogs not only for exercise but also to increase their chances of being adopted. This included cleaning the kennels, feeding, and making sure the dogs had water, as well as play time. I also have a 5 year old kitty named Mochi and a 3 year old kitty boy named Finn, they are both playful and full of energy. This means I'm also available to take care of your kitty needs! About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). On Saturdays and Sundays I'll be available from 3 pm-8 pm. If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I currently own a cat, Higgins, who is a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I've been in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He's also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving him a pill. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.

About: I’ve had a furry friend my entire life, and have looked after animals that need immediate or intense care, or are in need of a home for 12 years. My schedule lines up with my partners in a way that there is rarely more than an hour or two that we are away from home. The entire property is monitored by cameras (except bedrooms and bathrooms), and we like to practice fire and tornado drills regularly in case of an emergency.

About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8, when I got my own puppy. With my family i have 2 dogs, a Beagle and a Puggle. Growing up, I also had a Yellow Lab. I have pet sat multiple times in the past few years, both overnight and daily check ins. I love dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes, and treat all dogs I encounter as if they were my own. I have a very open schedule that allows for me to pet sit at any time throughout the day, and any day of the week. I would not be able to care for pets in my own home, only in client’s homes. About: I have been around animals all my life. I have exp with dogs, cats, birds, fish, cage critters and farm animals. I've worked at Vet Clinics, Animal Control and Riding Stables. I'm comfortable around any breeds of dog and can also administer medications and fluids to your babies. I'm working p/t right now and would have time to spend with your kids taking care of them and doing what I love, which is being around animals! I have been on Rover for a few years now and have experienced alot so far but I am sure that I will still get a surprise here and there! I try to take all surprises with grace and just learn from them! We have: bones, hard yak cheese sticks, frisbee, balls, soft stuffy toys, rope toys, bubble machine, dog pool and pounce sprinkler, lick mats, sniff mats, puzzle toys, we do some arts and crafts (typically on or near holidays), homemade frozen enrichment bowls, if you request a bath for your dog I have multiple deshedding tools. Blankets, crates, extra bowls and diapers if needed. I am investing a lot into my doggy business. I recently made a small indoor gated area that has mats layed down for optimal comfort during indoor play and sleeping. I am in the process of creating an additional fenced in area in my yard that will feature a sand pit for those that love to dig, turf grass to contain the mud and a climbing feature for king of the hill! I can give your dog the patience it may need for basic training along with draining out some of the coopt up energy so they can listen better! Training in wee hours doesnt bother me at all and can even be fun. I have kids that are not rough or overly involved with animals and that also know some basic training. Any medication or special request can also be discussed and accommodated. Any questions just feel free to ask. Thanks for reading and considering me for your fur baby. I currently work from home so am pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating what works best for my pet parents! My mom is also very helpful in the chance that I do leave home, she resides with me! I have a decent sized fenced backyard for being in the city. We love to play fetch and run perimeter. Inside we like to use our indoor manners. Typically all of the dogs sleep together with blankets and cushions that I provide in a space that is about 10x10. I do have crates to utilize if it is the pet parents preference or if we have concerns with potty or chewing issues (I may utilize a doggy diaper when in doors if your dog marks inside) . Some dogs do get to sleep in a separate space from other dogs or in a room with one of my kids if that is where they feel the most comfortable and behave the best.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life. I have assisted with obedience, and behavioral trainings. Im a well seasoned handler to all ages, and different breeds. I like to perform a structured walk with them daily because that is one of the most important daily thing in there life. Not only does it give them physical exercise, but mentally to stay with there human. I work part time cleaning in the evening for a few hours. I do already have established clients on my own to take care of there pup while they work long hours. I do want to expand and get more clients and work with other animals as well. I have a full house of animals. I would not be able to take animals home to my home, because that can be stressful for clients dogs or cats. I recommend leaving them in the comfort of there own home. I do have 2 dogs that I have taken on trainings with me and there so great with other dogs and they have learn training techniques so show other dogs to be mindful and respectful. they would be great playdate companions to other dogs

About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

I have always been an animal lover and I always will be. Every day I take my dog on at least one walk and many times I walk him multiple times per day. To house sit during longer durations, I can travel to anywhere. I would love to bring my golden retriever with me if your pets like to socialize and make new friends, he loves other dogs and gets along with them great, he is very social and has been to many dog parks and households with pets, but if not that is ok too. Also, I have a boyfriend that loves animals and has 2 children of his own, I would love if he could come hang out with me during my stay if the family was comfortable with it, but if not that is also okay. For drop in visits, I can assist on my own or bring my dog for some company. I am also available on certain days for doggy day care and boarding. When I have a dog stay with me I treat that dog like my own and it would have an amazing friend to play with. Pets are allowed on furniture, I have treats, toys, tons of dog beds, and a fenced in yard. I will also take your dog out on walks and play fetch or tug to burn energy.
