“Lauren is Fantastic! Nala, our 4 year old mini labradoodle LOVES Lauren. When I tell her Lauren is coming over she gets so excited. Then when she arrives, Nala loves on her like they have been separated for months. Lauren has been walking Nala for us a few months now, and she is so great. Always happy and shows up with a smile on her face. Always on time and is very good about communicating any need to change day or time. Always makes sure to let me know how Nala did on the walk, especially if they encountered other dogs, animals or strange events. The way Lauren talks to, and treats Nala tells me everything I need to know about her. She loves animals and has a heart of gold! I wouldn't hesitate one second to have her house/pet sit for us, and we will definitely keep having her walk Nala until she no longer can or wants to!”

“Valerie was amazing and my dogs loved her. She came and visited 2 times to meet the dogs, spend time with them and get to know them before my trip. She came over on the day I was leaving to be with the dogs before I left so they would not be alone after I left. It is comforting to know that someone is there with them at night and throughout the day, so they are not all alone. She sent me pictures and updates and said how much she loved my dogs, and they were so good. She washed the bedding, the towels and wiped the counter tops and swept the floor too. I definitely felt at ease and could enjoy myself so much more knowing how well cared for they were being taken care of. She even asked if the dogs could sleep in bed with her, and I told her if she wanted them too, it was fine with me. Evie is a bed hog and snores, which she agreed she did that. lol I would definitely use Valerie again! Thank you for giving me peace of mind and taking such good care of my babies.”

About: Hello, My name is Katie, I love to pet sit for your animal! I have two of my own, Tucker who is 2 years old Walker hound mix and Abby who is 8 years old Lab/ Beagle mix. When it comes to any animal they will treated like I would with my own animal, enormous cuddles and love! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I do work full time as an outpatient therapist Mon- Thursday. I am mostly available Friday morning to Sunday evening. I am able to stay your house if needed. I care for my pets like they are family members so whatever you need I will make sure they get that while you are away. I also make sure to send updates and pictures to make you feel comfortable while you are gone as well.

“Heather is an absolute gem and after how well she did we will be using her for all of our future pet care needs. When we met her our dogs immediately loved her and so did we. She is easy to talk to and had no problem accommodating our dogs special needs. We were gone for about a week and during that time I got consistent updates and photos of our animals. Whenever I messaged her to check on them she was immediately responsive. She left our house just the way she found it and our animals were all very loved and well cared for. I know it is always scary leaving your animals in the care of someone you don't know but we trusted our gut on Heather and we are so glad we did.”

About: Hello everyone! I have been on Rover for a few years now and have experienced alot so far but I am sure that I will still get a surprise here and there! I try to take all surprises with grace and just learn from them! We have: bones, hard yak cheese sticks, frisbee, balls, soft stuffy toys, rope toys, bubble machine, dog pool and pounce sprinkler, lick mats, sniff mats, puzzle toys, we do some arts and crafts, homemade frozen enrichment bowls, if you request a bath for your dog I have multiple deshedding tools. Blankets, crates, extra bowls and diapers if needed. I am investing a lot into my doggy business. I recently made a small indoor gated area that has mats layed down for optimal comfort during indoor play and sleeping. I am in the process of creating an additional fenced in area in my yard that will feature a sand pit for those that love to dig, turf grass to contain the mud and a climbing feature for king of the hill! I can give your dog the patience it may need for basic training along with draining out some of the coopt up energy so they can listen better! Training in wee hours doesnt bother me at all and can even be fun. I have kids that are not rough or overly involved with animals and that also know some basic training. Any medication or special request can also be discussed and accommodated. Any questions just feel free to ask. Thanks for reading and considering me for your fur baby. I currently work from home so am pretty flexible when it comes to accommodating what works best for my pet parents! My mom is also very helpful in the chance that I do leave home, she resides with me! I have a decent sized fenced backyard for being in the city. We love to play fetch and run perimeter. Inside we like to use our indoor manners. Typically all of the dogs sleep together with blankets and cushions that I provide in a space that is about 10x10. I do have crates to utilize if it is the pet parents preference or if we have concerns with potty or chewing issues (I may utilize a doggy diaper when in doors if your dog marks inside) . Some dogs do get to sleep in a separate space from other dogs or in a room with one of my kids if that is where they feel the most comfortable and behave the best.
