“Amazing experience. Great person and sitter. Immediately felt comfortable leaving our dog, and our dog gave no hesitation to walk in, stay, and be left. We have a nervous dog, so new places and people can make her hesitant. She immediately took to the sitter and the house. We received pics of her activities through the day and she seemed so happy and confident. If she is uncomfortable it becomes obvious quickly, once we received a pic of her napping and comfortable we knew we made the right decision. I am so glad we took our dog here, and she came home tired and stress free. Wonderful experience. Next time we come to the area this is the person we want to watch our dog.”

“Marci was very accommodating to my schedule and very communicative. She also didn't allow the size of my dog to intimidate her. Her dogs were very friendly I recommend her for any dog!”

About: I’ve had many years experience with caring for dogs. I’ve recently lost my fur baby of 18 years. I have a lot of love left to give to more for babies. I am semi retired so my availability is open. I think it’s important to keep each animal on a routine they are used to . I live in an apartment and have many areas to walk dogs and give one on one care. Always making sure there needs are met.

About: Hi, my name is Tyler! My IT job allows me to work remotely full-time from my 3 bedroom house here in Grand Junction. My fiancé and I rescued our dog, Doug, in 2018, and have grown up with dogs our whole life. Since adopting Doug we have debated getting 100 more dogs everyday, which turned us to Rover. Working remotely allows me to tend to my Doug whenever he needs to eat/pee/poop/or chase birds in our backyard. Doug loves birds and the birds love the bird seed I put out. If Doug isn’t terrorizing the birds you can typically find him napping on the couch, or playing with one of his toys. He is one of the friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet, but also one of the noisiest as he is 50% coonhound. We are both always excited to have others join our pack! Recently we adopted a kitty named Ruth this summer and she has been an awesome addition to the family. Pets are free to roam around the house and the backyard all day and use the doggy door as they please while I’m working in my home office. Once work is done it is walk time on the Colorado River State Park trail just a half mile from the house. I have a fenced yard and a playful pup to keep your pet(s) company. Our house is only one floor so I can almost always have the dogs in sight if need be.

About: I grew up with horses, dogs, cats, and even goats and cows at different times. I have always "had a way" with animals and even have an associate's degree in equine management. I am retired with a flexible schedule, and care for my 87-year-old mom, my husband (as needed, ha!), and a friendly, spoiled beagle. I love to hike in the local area and would be glad to take your dog on walks in the desert or on the many paved trails nearby. We have a fenced yard and a dog door that can accommodate up to a medium-sized dog. Our dog (Tucker) is part of our family, and your dog would be treated the same way. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I have a garden and care for my elderly mom, but your pet can tag along for those activities, or stay crated in our house, depending on the pet parent preferences. I have a fenced yard and a friendly beagle to keep your fur baby company. I am home all day, so will be here to let them in and out for potty breaks. If pet-sitting in someone's home, I would not bring my dog along (unless requested).

Much better than a boarding service. located in quiet cul-de-sac near the airport, and have a decent size back yard, with covered patio and fan. Why Rover : I love pets. A friend does it, and speaks very highly of the experience, so I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I have a great home for pets and enjoy spending time with them.

About: I've always had animals growing up I love playing with them and walking them they get exercise and so do I. I love being around animals cause there so genuine. When I lived in Canon city co I would always take my dogs to the river and they loved it. There little dogs so they wouldn't always get in. I love taking care of animals cause there so appreciative they don't judge and they love unconditionaly. This sounds weird but most days I would rather spend time with animals than people lol. I got on rover cause I'm looking for something different I've been a part of the corporate world for to long now and it has drained me. Let me walk or petsit your dogs so they can help me in return.

Audra W.
“In the short time I have known Audra W. She has proven herself very dependable, trustworthy and kind. I could see she has a real affinity for animals. At the very last minute she jumped in at my request to care for my elderly black lab and one extremely skittish rescue Chihuahua mix. They love their walks and she went even longer than I do! I appreciated that and so did they! She has a lovely home with a safe large fenced yard. However she came to my home and stayed the night and helped me out all the next day. She was very patient with my little one. It was nice coming home to a clean house and happy dogs. I would highly recommend Audra to care for your fur babies!??”
