“Will definitely book with Madison again. She took great care of Penelope! It’s a relief to know that there is someone you can trust to come in and take good care of your pet.”

“Chris is amazing!! There was a raging storm when it was time to get our sweet boy out. Chris went way above and beyond. We had some packages that we were not expecting delivered . He brought them in and dried them off. Cleaned up an accident due to the storm by JT. Then dried up a very wet dog. We had a second visit to feed JT dinner and let him out. Chris brought up our trashcan from the curb. Which had flooded and is all uphill. We are so very grateful for the quality of care and thought given.”

“Emily is prompt in responding to requests. She did great with my dog, who is sometimes skeptical of new people, and our cat. Left great notes on visit reports and sent pictures. Will be using her again.”

About: I can get your dog in shape, trained, and tired for you to cuddle them to sleep. Can feed and transport them to appointments. Willing to take them to groomers, doctors, or to play dates. I'm currently doing uber and doordash but am looking for more gigs that aren't solely reliant on my vehicle. I don't mind being flexible to perform other tasks while assisting your pets. I will feed them, water them, rewash their bowls or other items, I will take them out to the potty, exercise and play with them, train them, transport them as needed, take them to appointments, light grooming, and wash them.
About: I’ve dog-sat four pups at once, including three big dogs and one little one! I’m comfortable keeping up with different personalities and energy levels, whether that means going on walks, playing, giving lots of cuddles, or making sure everyone sticks to their routine. I love getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their parents are away. I’ll be a full-time Occupational Therapy student, with Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays completely open for pet care. On my other school days, I’m available during my 12–2 PM break and after 4 PM. My schedule allows me to provide consistent, dependable care while balancing school. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while their owners are away. I follow their routines closely, provide plenty of supervision and attention, and keep their space clean and secure. I also prioritize communication with pet parents and will keep them updated about their pet’s needs, behavior, or anything I notice that may be a concern. I’m respectful of clients homes, clean up after myself, and always make an effort to leave the space better than I found it.
“Kassie did an excellent job taking care of my fur babies. I could tell on our first meeting w/her, that she loves animals and they would be in good hands. Communication was top notch and upon returning found my pets happy and not stressed. Would definitely recommend Kassie and plan to rebook her in the future.”

“We had a great experience with Stephanie and will absolutely book with her again. Communication was excellent, we received regular updates, and it was clear our pets were well cared for while we were away. We really appreciate the care provided and look forward to booking again in the future.”

About: Ive taken care of dogs for a little over 6 years but have been around dogs and cats all my life. Family and friends have relied on me to care for their pets and I enjoy taking care of fur babies. I work from home and finish work around 3:30pm. I am free most weekends for walks and care. With enough time in advance I can dog/cat sit in your home. I ensure a welcoming environment for your pet. I do have a 3 year old chocolate labrador who loves to have guests. About: Hi! My name is Madison, and I’m a huge animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with pets of all kinds. I know how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your fur babies, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I’m happy to provide that care. I’ll also make sure you stay updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m available for pet sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. I treat every pet like they’re my own! My sister has also taught me some training skills that could be helpful. I’d love to meet you and your pet—feel free to reach out with any questions! I am currently working full time, however i am off on Fridays weekends. If requested or needed I could be available during the week depending on the day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. At this time I do not offer boarding in my home, but I’m happy to provide drop-in visits and, depending on the day, house sitting in your home so your pet can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment. During drop-in visits, I make sure your pet has fresh food and water, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. I also check that everything in the home is safe and secure before leaving. If your pet enjoys walks, play, or just some company, I’m happy to spend that time with them. As I do not prefer staying in a client’s home, if it is requested I can make accommodation. I will do my best to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions if needed, and any specific care instructions you provide. I also send photo updates and messages so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I respect your home and your pet’s space and always aim to provide reliable, trustworthy care

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Grace Chapel
Madison took fantastic care of our cats, as always. She is prompt, follows instructions to the letter, and always provides an update on how everyone is doing, as well as several photos of our cattos. It makes being away from them a lot easier, knowing Madison is looking out for our animals!!

Madison has a wonderful energy about her. A very calming energy I think that pets love and absorb. She did great with my two girls (who I am very particular about who watches them in my home). I will certainly keep her on for repeat visits. Thank you for taking such good care of my girls

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:

- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
