Natascha was an amazing rover for Kirk! He enjoyed being walked by her so much, he walked more then the will let me walk him. Very understanding and great with Kirk and his shyness of other dogs!

About: I have always been an animal lover! I grew up with many pets and have been taking care of animals since I can remember. I spent my teen years volunteering at my local veterinary hospital and I am very knowledgeable about pet care. Rest assured, your furry friends will be in great hands with me! I have experience with puppies all the way up to senior dogs, so the care I will provide will always be tailored to each individual pup! I also have experience administering medications and working with dogs that need additional care. I am a student at Olympic College so outside of class I have lots of free time for your pets! I am available every day of the week. Safety, trust, and quality of care are my biggest priorities when it comes to caring for your precious pets! My main focus is to ensure that your pet feels loved and cared for even when you are away.

About: I have three cats and have a fairly flexible schedule. I’m a positive person and who enjoys gardening, going on walks, and being outside. I’m enjoying my retirement and have a flexible schedule! I typically wake up around 7 in the morning, get ready for the day, and work in my yard as needed/wanted. I feed my cats daily and give fresh water twice daily. I brush my cats weekly or as needed. The cats have toys they play with on their own and I use the laser toy when the cats want to play. They have a scratch post well.

About: Experienced pet sitter caring for puppies through seniors. Skilled with medications, precise care instructions, and always putting pets first with patience, consistency, and clear communication. I work a part-time job, which requires me to be away from the home 3 days a week for 8 hours. If needed, I am able to provide a potty break halfway through the day. My shepherd mix and I enjoy regular walks, playtime, and mental enrichment, balanced with calm downtime, cuddles, and a relaxed home environment. This routine helps pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I care for pets by closely following their established routines to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, mental enrichment, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection. In my home, pets have access to a secure, fenced-in yard and a friendly dog for supervised play. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, follow care instructions precisely, and provide consistent updates and photos for peace of mind.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Gorst. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
