About: I have always been an animal lover! I grew up with many pets and have been taking care of animals since I can remember. I spent my teen years volunteering at my local veterinary hospital and I am very knowledgeable about pet care. Rest assured, your furry friends will be in great hands with me! I have experience with puppies all the way up to senior dogs, so the care I will provide will always be tailored to each individual pup! I also have experience administering medications and working with dogs that need additional care. I am a student at Olympic College so outside of class I have lots of free time for your pets! I am available every day of the week. Safety, trust, and quality of care are my biggest priorities when it comes to caring for your precious pets! My main focus is to ensure that your pet feels loved and cared for even when you are away.

I have four years of experience caring for dogs and cats and I enjoy learning each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I’m happy to provide the care your pet needs while keeping you updated with messages and photos along the way. I currently work in an corporate weekday environment and best suited for a client with a pet who can be left alone throughout the day. About: I've been pet-sitting since I was in high school. I have been a sitter in homes with multiple pets and given each of the furry family members the attention they deserve. I have taken care of pets ranging from cats, small breed dogs, and large breed dogs. I have an Australian Shepherd that I have trained from the time she was seven weeks old. I also have experience with fearful/nervous dogs. I am a teacher on summer break with lots of time to help other families with their dogs and cats! I have an Australian Shepherd so I know how important routine and exercise is to our furry family members. I spend my summers running, disc golfing, hiking, and keeping my dog busy. With no set schedule over the summer months, I am very available to check in on your pets. Safety is the biggest priority for me walking dogs. I always check for routes that are safe and dogs are always kept on leash. I walk dogs in areas where other dogs are secured and where there are sidewalks/wide shoulders.

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years (6 years with Companion Animal Wellness Center and 2 years with Tender Touch Animal Hospital, and two years with animal emergency and speciality center) and I also worked in animal rescue for two years at Pasado's Safe Haven. I love dogs of all kinds and enjoy learning about what they enjoy and how I can help them live happy and healthy lives! I've helped two clinics implement cat friendly practice standards and have a solid understanding of cat behavior. I am comfortable giving medications and know when medical care is needed. I am also a pet owner myself and understand how important it is that you be able to trust your pet caregiver to treat them like family! I teach special education now and so am pretty busy during the school year. If my 12 year old son can come, he’s great with animals too, and I can be more flexible then. Feel free to ask me if something will work! Over the summer I am very available, only needing to be home for about 4-6 hours a day to take care of my own dog. If your dogs are pet social and you don’t have cats ( too fun to chase!), I can stay all day. During the school year, I am gone from 7am until 5 or 6pm, so realistically can only do weekends or solely overnight care. I know the level of trust it takes to leave your fur children with someone new. I will follow your directions and try to keep things as steady for them as possible. My son and I love animals of all shapes and sizes and we love playing with and spending time with them.

About: It has been hard to find care for my pets in the past. So helping others navigate life taking on a pet sitter role I would be honored. I am currently a preschool teacher that has free time over the summer. I love playing with animals and enjoy the cuddles. I have three kiddos and a dog as well. I help friends with their pets as well when needed. I have a fenced in yard that is very secured. I will have my kids home from time to time. I have a dog in my home and that is under a year and is friendly. She loves playdates

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
