I grew up on a farm taking care of multiple animals at a time, have rescued dozens of animals throughout my life and currently have 2 of my own. I used to train puppies and have done obedience training course before. My close friend has a senior dog (13 years old) that I have also helped take care of multiple occasions which included giving medication, cleaning up accidents, taking on frequent pee breaks, etc. I’m able to provide around-the-clock care for your babies throughout the day. I’m very flexible and happy to assist with pick-up and drop-off, baths if needed, administering medication, and more. Ideally, I’d love to meet you in advance to ensure we’re a great fit, though I prefer not to have our first meeting occur during the initial visit. Please note that I only accept pets who do well with other animals in the home and are fully potty trained. If you have a puppy who isn’t quite there yet, I kindly ask that you disclose this in advance so I can decide on a case-by-case basis. Lastly, I expect all pets to be on flea and tick prevention to ensure the safety of all animals in my home. If this isn’t the case, please let me know ahead of time. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always loved and cared for them like i personally gave birth to each one. I’m in school for veterinary medicine right now actually! Standard Booking vs Constant Care: A standard booking differs from 24/7 constant care. During a standard stay, your pups are always my priority, and I would NEVER leave them alone for extended periods. That said, standard bookings do allow for brief moments when I may need to step out, such as taking another nearby dog for a quick walk or running a short errand. I’m always mindful of the dogs in my care, and if I need to step out, I keep outings short, plan them around your pup’s routine, and make sure they are safe, comfortable, and settled. If your pup needs around-the-clock supervision (for example, due to separation anxiety, medical needs, or simply extra comfort), it is a separate service level that would fall under Rover’s constant care bookings, which I offer at a flat rate of $150 per day. This rate ensures I can block off my calendar and be fully prepared to provide 24 hour care. Please make sure to note this requirement in your booking request or at our meet and greet, as fees will need to be modified prior to confirming the dates requested. Start and End Times: To help me coordinate care smoothly, please keep your start and ends times within a 1-hour window. If a wider time frame is requested, I’ll adjust it before confirming your booking. About: With over 7+ years of dog experience with my own dog back at home and my 2 year old at my apartment, I also currently dog sit for various family friends. I have always been the biggest animal person anywhere from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and bunnies! I have all my classes online currently this semester so Sunday mornings I am typically unavailable for only a couple hours but do become available past noon and am free the rest of the week usually at my home doing my studies. With my pup Cocoa and my senior dog back at home, I’d walk them twice a day but let them out in the backyard or for a short walk every couple hours in case they need to relieve themselves. I feed once in the morning and another late afternoon dinner. Coming back from walks I always wipe off paws with vet approved dog wipes. With pets that aren’t my own, I like to get clear instructions for their pet because they can react differently to something completely normal for my own doggo. Nonetheless, any and every doggie I come across gets all the love and cuddles from me!
