About: I usually work with shy, aggressive or fearful dogs or cats. It can take weeks, months or years to befriend them but when you do it's extremely rewarding, especially when an animal someone deems "dangerous" comes out to be the biggest sweetheart. I have tons of patience and I believe every species of animal deserves love and respect. As humans, it's our duty to be the voices and guardians of the animals in our care. They look to us for comfort, guidance, love and peace. That's why I do anything in my power to donate or volunteer at animal shelters because every animal should know that there's humans out there that actually care about their well being. I would not be at 29 Hanford anymore due to instability, so I’m moving my business down to NYC before heading to PA. We have multiple fences in house and around the property. Pups are also supervised 24/7 and we have a designated dog room just for them. Back porch is also secured with gates. Dogs aren’t allowed on the lawn without human supervision and a 20ft leash. Lawn is fenced. We have strict safety procedures when it comes down to pets and children.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life. Right now I have a Beagle and a German Shepherd so I’m used to caring for all dogs of different sizes. I’ve dog sat for people in my town and I am able to flex my schedule to meet the specific needs of your dog. I’m currently a college student, student teaching full time. So I am at a school from 8-3 Monday- Friday and off the weekends. I have a big yard at my home, which provides plenty of room for fetch. I have two dogs that are very friendly to new dogs. About: I grew up with a love for animals nomatter how small or big, scales or fur, I wanted to play with them. Growing up with 3 dogs, 6 chinchillas at a time, a hamster, fish, and more showed me how much I absolutely love my animals so I started volunteering at animal shelters where I then, went on to manage a pet store over time. When people would hear I watched animals for others whether they were reptiles, cats, dogs, or fish they started to use me for mini getaways and then long trips. When leaving an animal with me it gets spoiled. I do not believe animals needs to be just fed, watered, and let out. The time you put into the pet is the bond youre able to create with it and you want someone who is going to treat your pet as their own and that is exactly what I do. Pet care gives me the flexibility of caretaking in between my families schedules. Instead of being set to a 9 to 5 I can stagger my time to fit all my needs so it allows me to get chores done, appointments checked off without taking a day off, and allows me to also fulfill my real estate job along the way. After volunteering at shelters and having many animals of my own I have learned that patience is key. When meeting a new animal who may be anxious or scared, sitting quietly with them for awhile and allowing them to come to you on their own terms works the best. Forcing an animal to adjust to a human is not in anyway okay and only makes things harder for them to trust a human. Making sure an animal has a properly secured and adjusted harness or collar before going out is also a big thing I have always checked incase the animal is an escape artist. Before allowing a dog to go outside making sure gates are secured as you never know when one may be unlatched for any reason. When going on walks I am always aware of my surrounding for cars, people, other animals to keep all safe. If an animal is hypersensitive or reactive knowing ahead of time allows me to adjust accordingly.

About: I will treat your pets like family. I have one cat and one small Pomeranian. If your pet has special needs I am able to dispense medication. I love giving animals attention and love. I have a large house and a decent sized backyard. I am able to travel to your pets. I have pet first aid experience. I am alert and watching your pet at all times. I have had pets since I was born. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including a Black Lab, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd. Being around such different breeds has taught me that every dog has their own personality, energy level, quirks, and way of showing you what they need. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs in my family. I regularly help care for my sister’s two dogs—a 1-year-old Corgi and a 13-year-old English Bulldog. Having both a young, energetic dog and a senior dog has given me an appreciation for how different their needs can be. One may want to play, explore, and keep you moving, while the other may need a slower pace, extra patience, comfort, and a little more attention. I also frequently care for a French Bulldog in my family when his dad needs someone he trusts to look after him. I also have experience caring for Ozzie, my mom’s boyfriend’s 7-year-old Whoodle.
