“Fantastic! We have two senior dogs (14 and 13) with special needs. One of them can't use his back legs, has bathroom accidents and is deaf. The other is losing his vision, has some leg weakness and is high anxiety. She visited beforehand and asked great questions. We were away for a week. Both dogs were comfortable and happy with Vicki. She was communicative and sent pictures with updates. We returned home to peaceful pets and the house as clean as when we left. I think the doggies were looking for Vicki when we got home. :) It was a blessing to be able to know they were in good hands while we were away for camping time as a family.”

About: I usually work with shy, aggressive or fearful dogs or cats. It can take weeks, months or years to befriend them but when you do it's extremely rewarding, especially when an animal someone deems "dangerous" comes out to be the biggest sweetheart. I have tons of patience and I believe every species of animal deserves love and respect. As humans, it's our duty to be the voices and guardians of the animals in our care. They look to us for comfort, guidance, love and peace. That's why I do anything in my power to donate or volunteer at animal shelters because every animal should know that there's humans out there that actually care about their well being. I would not be at 29 Hanford anymore due to instability, so I’m moving my business down to NYC before heading to PA. We have multiple fences in house and around the property. Pups are also supervised 24/7 and we have a designated dog room just for them. Back porch is also secured with gates. Dogs aren’t allowed on the lawn without human supervision and a 20ft leash. Lawn is fenced. We have strict safety procedures when it comes down to pets and children.

Our daily routine naturally includes multiple walks along the scenic D&H Canal trail, which directly borders our property. Because our work keeps us at home, guest pets enjoy consistent supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of playful companionship. Our home sits far back from the road at the end of a long driveway, offering a very quiet, safe environment. We sit on 10 acres of land, featuring 3 groomed acres for supervised play and 7 acres of private woods. While our yard is only partially fenced, we have two large, fully enclosed decks that are completely fenced in—perfect for safe sunbathing, lounging, and secure outdoor activities. We also utilize a collapsible fence that we can pull out and set up to create customized secure boundaries if necessary. For exercise, dogs are strictly supervised and kept on-leash as we head down the driveway to our private access point for the D&H Canal trail, keeping them completely away from traffic.

“Tessa took care of two cats and two dogs. One of the cats required a pill every day and one of the dogs needed pills as well. One of the dogs was a senior and needed help with stairs. Tessa did a fantastic job with all of it. I have no fence so she had the added job of leashing and walking the dogs numerous times a day. I would not hesitate to employ and recommend her.”
About: I have been taking care of animals for as long I could remember. Growing up I always had pets that I’ve cared for and learned from then on about feeding my pets to taking them for a walk so doctors visits etc. I’ve had a lot of pets growing up ranging from rabbits to guinea pigs, dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, ferret, turtle. All were very well cared for and very loved. I love being around animals and being able to help out people who are working long hours and need some extra help with caring for their loved fur baby. I’m very familiar with dog and cat sitting for other people and taking dogs on walks. I usually go to other people’s houses to care for the animals because I find it easier for the owner. I’ll always make sure your fur babies are happy and active by going on walks or even playing ball around the yard.
About: My experience includes my own dog of 14 (and current) years, owning exotic pets, going to a trade school for animal science, graduated from community college and planning to go to vet school in the next 2 years. Ive worked at animal hospitals and humane society’s Im currently a working college student who has some free time and would like to make a little extra cash to save for vet school I take my dog on (almost) daily 30 minute walks, including an hour and 1/2 one, once a week. I quite literally squeal every time I see a cute dog. My friend recommended this to me because she recognized my love for dogs.
