I am definitely able to care for your pets that can handle a normal work day.* I have been a volunteer at an animal shelter for over three years. I have experience with many different kinds of dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. I love exercise and am more than willing to take your dog on a nice, long walk or run. About: Since 2016, I’d eagerly come home each day looking forward to taking my dog, Teddy, on long walks outside. That passion led me to create my own dog treat business, driven by my desire to share that love and care with other dogs. It is so rewarding knowing I can contribute to the happiness and health of dogs one walk at a time. I am currently very free during the hot summer months while taking care of my dog, Teddy. I have a lot of extra free time for any last minute walks! My home is a very calm environment with no kids and one other dog. There is a lot of space outside and many friendly dogs in the neighborhood. I am very attentive to whatever it is the dog may need, (walks, play-time, or love!) as well as being educated on dog behavior.

About: It's my mission to be your pet's newest favorite human. I've been volunteering, rescuing and fundraising for Paws Cat Shelter in Putnam CT since 2017. I'm also their mascot appearing in many downtown events. If the cats only knew the lengths I go for them! I have five cats of my own (Penny, Bentley, Boober, Mokey and Wembley) and I'm a dog mom to Frank, a mini Aussie Shepard. I've done home and pet sitting for friends and co-workers and I know the importance of finding someone reliable and trustworthy to watch my own animals. I'm comfortable with giving meds, syringe feeding, poop scooping and litterbox digging. I work full time as a Financial Systems Analyst for EG America (Cumberland Farms) but my schedule allows for flexibility. I can do drop-in visits or set up shop in your kitchen with my laptop if you don't mind sharing your WiFi. Just give me all of the detailed instructions/routines (like, go full-on OCD, I can appreciate that!) and I'll take care of the rest. I like to send text updates and pictures so you're at ease knowing your kids are happy and healthy.

About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

About: I have taken care of pets since childhood whether it was cats, dogs, fish, or hamsters I’ve loved being around them! In middle school I would walk the neighborhood dogs after school and in my freshman year of high school I got my very own puppy! I potty trained him, taught him to walk off leash, and taught him many fun tricks. Now that I’m in college I have lots of free time that I would love to use to help care for animals, whether it’s taking them for walks, playing with them in the home, or even having them be my study partner! About: I’ve had a dog of my own for a while and also have taken care of my neighbors pets for long periods of time! From walks, baths, feeding and playtime, I’m experienced in taking care and having fun with dogs of all ages. My dog in particular was a senior and she dealt with arthritis and liver disease, which would limit her ability to do certain things like long walks and going upstairs, or even eating. I do have the experience of taking care of senior dogs that may need this special treatment. I also walked King (pictured) as a volunteer for PAWS NY. This organization has volunteers who walk and/or take care of pets for those who are unable to do so themselves. My job is remote, so I can work from anywhere. My hours are also very flexible, so I am able to work around your schedule! I am also available anytime on the weekends! My area is safe and very pet friendly. The neighborhood is very residential, and there are a few parks nearby. There is also plenty of accessibility and perfect for pets!

About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. I have had farm animals so I have that experience as well. I am looking to fill my time with some amazing animals because of my love for them. I take care of everything from farm animals to cats. I can watch cat friendly dogs in my home. I have gates and a safe environment. I am more than willing to watch pets in the clients home as well to make them feel comfortable and help with routine.
