About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.
About: I’ve been around animals since the beginning of my life. I grew up with cats & dogs, small & large. I started learning about dog training in 2020, I trained my first service dog in 2022. I work from home, so I start my day by taking my dog out to our apartment property’s dog park to use the bathroom, & get play time in, then I bring him in to feed him breakfast. If dog parks make you uncomfortable, I can always take your dog when the parks unoccupied. For meal time I make sure all dogs are separated from each others food. If your dog has trouble eating I always keep toppers on hand or different types of food such as, raw/cooked/air dried/& freeze dried. In the case there’s a medical emergency we have an emergency vet 15 mins down the road. If your dog needs to be crated when left unsupervised or for bedtime we have a crate sized for medium/large breeds. Animals are allowed on furniture & the living room is dog proof with lots of toys & beds, we keep the kitchen & bathroom off limits to prevent anyone from getting into something they’re not supposed to have. My dog has also been trained to be gentle with small animals as well to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe in their environment. If your dog eats too fast I offer slow feeders in my home.

With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. During my time there, I've taken care of various puppies to their adulthood and senior dogs. About: I am a lifelong dog parent with two wonderful rescues. I am first aid and CPR certified, can administer medication and have been certified for small animal (cats and dogs) massage and canine behavior. Exercise and stimulation are important to ensure dogs do not become bored and destructive or depressed. No two dogs are the same. One of my dogs loves to run while the other loves to swim! I have experience with my own and working with other reactive animals so you can trust me with your pets, whatever their personality may be. What one enjoys, another may not so I need to understand how your dog interacts with humans and other animals and how they play. I look forward to caring for your dog! My work schedule is dynamic and we can discuss your needs and how they fit with my life at the time you want to schedule. I have a fully fenced yard if you choose to have your pet stay with me. About: Ive been taking care of my own pets as long as Ive been able, and began pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking for others in high school during 2022. I have experience with cats and dogs of varying ages (puppies/kittens-elderly pets) and needs (illnesses and disabilities), as well as more exotic pets like lizards, birds, rodents, and aquatic animals like fish, turtles, and axolotls. I’ve administered medications for dogs, but do not have experience with needles. I’ve spent up to a week taking care of several animals at a time, as well as short periods like nights and checking in daily. I will do all I can to provide your pet and home with the care they need! I’m currently in college, but primarily online, so my school schedule is flexible with your needs! I am not working outside of pet care so I am not tied down to other responsibilities and provide the time needed to care for your pets. I’ve lived with pets my whole life, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll follow their usual schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention. I’m comfortable paying attention to a pet’s behavior and making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and secure. I’ll also treat your home with respect, double-check doors and gates, and follow any specific instructions you leave. About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.
