Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. We’ve got an acre of land to explore, and every day starts with a peaceful walk through our sunny neighborhood. About: I am a lifelong dog parent with two wonderful rescues. I am first aid and CPR certified, can administer medication and have been certified for small animal (cats and dogs) massage and canine behavior. Exercise and stimulation are important to ensure dogs do not become bored and destructive or depressed. No two dogs are the same. One of my dogs loves to run while the other loves to swim! I have experience with my own and working with other reactive animals so you can trust me with your pets, whatever their personality may be. What one enjoys, another may not so I need to understand how your dog interacts with humans and other animals and how they play. I look forward to caring for your dog! My work schedule is dynamic and we can discuss your needs and how they fit with my life at the time you want to schedule. I have a fully fenced yard if you choose to have your pet stay with me. About: I personally have 2 dogs and a cat and experience with all sizes and temperaments. I am going into my senior year at Bryant! Also I recently completed a half marathon and am looking to keep up the outdoor walking and running maybe with some buddies! “Samantha went above and beyond for our boys! We were visiting family in TN for the holidays. One of our boys came down with sudden and severe Lyme symptoms while we were gone. Samantha spent many hours with him in urgent care on New Year’s Eve. She even bought the workers there pizza! She was great at caring for him and giving him meds after. Her fenced-in yard and house arrangement are perfect for our boys. She sent daily pictures and videos of our pups playing with her dog Mac and snuggling with her family. “Olivia was absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. Her background as a veterinary technician was reassuring, but what truly stood out was how genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive she is. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. While I was away, Olivia sent frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious they weren't just being cared for—they were genuinely loved. Seeing them so relaxed and comfortable made an incredibly stressful time so much easier. Olivia cared not only for my cats but also for me. She understood the emotional weight of everything we were going through and showed so much compassion throughout the entire experience. My boys came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for.
