About: I am a passionate dog lover and dedicated pet caregiver. I'm currently in my third year at Liberty University, and animals, especially dogs, have always held a special place in my heart. I've had my own dog for over 14 years, and caring for pets has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Whether it's walking, sitting, or just spending quality time, I’ve looked after dogs (and other pets!) for friends, family, and neighbors with love and attention. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. If you're looking for someone reliable, energetic, and genuinely excited to meet your furry friend, I’m your person! I am a college student home for the summer with a lot of free time. I work a part time job and an internship that are very flexible so I would love to help out with your furry friends when needed! I am a very active person so I love to get pets outdoors to let their energy out but I always keep them on the leash unless they are in a enclosed space!
“Samantha has been doing a great job taking care of our puppy during a time of transition. He’s adjusting to having us home less on certain days and it gives us peace of mind to know he is well cared for.”

“Booked Braelyn for the first time for a 60 min Dog walk. Great communicator, responsive and on time. My dog took yo her right away- she was great. Using her a few more times this week and would definitely book her in the future.”

“Cassandra is great! She is very reliable and has built a fantastic relationship with Maizy in a short amount of time (just a few walks). Maizy excitedly awaits her arrival every morning and goes nuts when she sees Cassandra's vehicle pull up.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a background in doggy daycare and kennel experience. I am fascinated with dog behavior, communication and body language. I have taken several courses in dog training and safe handling, been certified in pet first aid and CPR, and am active in the dog community. I have several years of experience working with a variety of different dog breeds ranging from small to large, both individually and in small groups. I have a flexible schedule and am available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and individualized pet care. I’m hoping to build long-term relationships with both pets and their owners! I understand how important routine and consistency are for animals, so I always follow care instructions closely and prioritize safety, communication, and making your pet feel comfortable while you’re away.
“Marie and her husband were wonderful! Great communication throughout. My dog is 84 pounds and young so he does pull on walks at the beginning. They handled him amazingly. Got him some exercise when I cant right now. Even recharged his night light. I would absolutely book Marie again”

About: Your baby is my utmost priority, whether walking, playing or sitting, unless you have multiple animals, your baby recieves 100% of my attention. I have many years of experience with large breed dogs and am comfortable with any breed. I am a semi-retired man that lost both his support animal and career in 2025, because of that I have a relatively open schedule as i feel like a ship without a rudder. Once booked your baby becomes part of my routine and will not change unless you specify. I know what my baby was to me and my family not only as my support animal for ptsd but as family and I promise your baby will recieve that same love. Whether they need a walk, run, play, nap, pets or just to sit on the couch and get attention, be assured I will provide that as making your furry family member happy makes me happy. Whether in a client's or my own home your fur baby will recieve love, compassion, playtime, and of course treats(if you approve). I follow all instructions left by the client and ensure their pets safety. I only work with 1 pet at a time, unless it is same household as I believe you hired someone for your baby to spend time with. I will take pets to any play dates, appointments, etc as organized or approved by the client. I ensure pets are safely buckled in my vehicle while driving should your fur family want a ride or to visit a local park. I always provide waste bags, bottled water, and treats (with approval) for my clients.
“Nicole was great and exceeded my expectations. She came over to meet our dogs before we left on vacation and they instantly liked her. While on vacation she sent videos and pictures after every walk and was ALWAYS on time. She made my vacation worry free and I can’t thank her enough!”

“Jackie is so good to our pup! She’s a very caring person and responds very quickly to our messages. If you’re looking for someone to care for your pet… Jackie is the person to go to! Our pup loves his walks with Jackie :)”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have always been surrounded by them, as many of my family members have dogs as well. Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of different personalities and needs. I have looked after multiple family members’ pets, watched my neighbors’ dogs, and provided dog-sitting care before. I am very comfortable with feeding, walking, giving attention, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to make time for pet care throughout my day. I also really miss my dog at home, so spending time with dogs here would be something I genuinely enjoy. I already go on daily walks, and caring for pets would fit naturally into my routine. Even with my classes, I would have plenty of time to give pets the attention, care, and exercise they need. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness would always be my top priorities. I am responsible, attentive, and caring, and I would work hard to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet feels secure and well cared for. I will always treat every dog with patience, kindness, and the same love I would want for my own pet.
“Christina was very reliable. She took many pics of Teddy on their walks. Teddy loves when she takes him on walks and gives him belly rubs. Will definitely being booking her again when we go on our next trip.”

“Rich was incredible. Definitely helped me in a pinch with my dog Goomba! He was very responsive and loved all the pictures of my pup with him on their walk. Would certainly use him again in the future and highly recommend. For all kinds of dogs, sometimes can be tough finding your pet as much as you do but Rich certainly has a big affinity for dogs which makes you rest easy while he’s with your pup.”

“I highly recommend Steph, she has been wonderful with my two pups - one is a grumpy bulldog and the other is a crazy black lab, so I know she can handle double dogs of different speeds which is great! She’s also really sweet with the dogs, super friendly and easy to talk to, and very flexible with bookings.”

About: Since 2016, I’d eagerly come home each day looking forward to taking my dog, Teddy, on long walks outside. That passion led me to create my own dog treat business, driven by my desire to share that love and care with other dogs. It is so rewarding knowing I can contribute to the happiness and health of dogs one walk at a time. I am currently very free during the hot summer months while taking care of my dog, Teddy. I have a lot of extra free time for any last minute walks! My home is a very calm environment with no kids and one other dog. There is a lot of space outside and many friendly dogs in the neighborhood. I am very attentive to whatever it is the dog may need, (walks, play-time, or love!) as well as being educated on dog behavior.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Glendale. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Glendale.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Glendale. On Rover:
- 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
