About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. Required vaccinations: Rabies Distemper Bordetella (kennel cough)
About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. With those dogs obviously came a lot of taking care of them, as well as playing with them. Along with my own dogs, I have also volunteered/worked at an animal shelter for around 2 years, where I would take the dogs out each day, give them food and water, and play with them until they hopefully found a forever home. I am pet CPR/ First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross and have experience with administering medications including insulin for diabetes care. I specialize in puppies making sure they stick to a schedule and have the structure they need to grow and learn as well as large dog breeds because that is what we primarily have at our own home. I have very flexible availability and cannot wait to meet you and your furry or feathered loved ones! I have flexible availability and can work around what your schedule and pets may need! The only time I am away is the week of Christmas and new years. I am not open to boarding as of right now because we are going to be in the process of moving and hopefully opening our own pet boarding center, but I am available to sit in your home to keep your furry friends happy at home. “This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. He enjoyed walks with Samantha and has a new friend, her dog Mac and got to enjoy playing with him. We were updated daily and I had no worries @ all while we were away. “Jenna and Michael were wonderful. We are also sitters on Rover and probably have higher than average standards for our babygirl Sadie (~60 lb rescue). We first did a meet and greet and from the moment we meant them we knew they were good people. We had already meet four other sitters at this point and were starting to feel hopeless. Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! Sadie got lots of exercise playing with Chase and going on walks. I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again. Even though we had to drive 45 minutes to them, it was 100% worth it. Thank you, Jenna, Michael, and Chase.”
