Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. Her background as a veterinary technician was reassuring, but what truly stood out was how genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive she is. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. About: I have had a love for dogs ever since I was a child. My family got our first when I was 5 and since then we have had three others that we have adopted as well. I'm currently working part-time through August 1, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. I'll be starting a full-time job on August 17, but I'll still be available on weekends and can discuss weekday availability as needed. I'll always make sure your pet gets the attention, care, and time they deserve. When caring for pets in a client's home, I treat both your home and your pet with the same respect and care I would my own. I will follow your pet's routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. About: As a child I grew up with two dogs and a cat. I am a true people person as well as an animal lover! I have taken care of family, friends, and neighbors pets while they are away. I have fostered dogs in the past and currently have two cats at home! I am currently working as a registered nurse so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week and weekends. I work 3 12 hour shifts per week. I'm willing to help out when I can and work around my schedule. I assist with feeding and companionship with both animals in my home and the services I offer. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease.
