8. Lauren V.
About: I have over 20 years of caring for dogs, cats and birds. I volunteer for an animal rescue and have fostered cats and dogs in the past, administered medicine, and socialized stray kittens to be adoptable. I’ve owned a Samoyed, Great Pyrenees, a pit bull mix and now a miniature Australian Shepherd. I’ve owned a cockatiel and a sun conure in the past so I’m familiar with caring for birds. The last 5 years, I worked for a pet insurance company where you can bring your pet to work but also learned of potential emergencies pets encounter and how to prevent them or take action quickly. I’m currently working from home so I’ll have the time to care for your pet, give them attention, treats and take walks throughout the day I have a fenced in yard and a friendly 30lb puppy who would love a friend for the time you are gone. Bones, lick mats and Kongs are offered throughout the day.

While I don't currently have any pets of my own besides my fish tank, I grew up in a household with cats and dogs, so I have plenty of experience caring for animals. He can be quite a handful, but we are always patient with him, and I will bring that same patience to caring for your pets. Thank you! here is how how I approach pet care: 1. **Familiarization**: I take the time to get to know your pets and their specific needs, routines, and preferences. 2. **Environment**: I ensure that the environment is safe and comfortable for the pets. 3. **Exercise and Play**: Regular playtime and exercise are essential for pet health. 4. **Routine Maintenance**: I follow a consistent routine, including feeding times, bathroom breaks, and any grooming sessions, to help keep the pets relaxed and happy. 5. **Monitoring Health**: I keep an eye on their behavior, appetite, and overall health. If I notice anything unusual, I'm prepared to contact you or a veterinarian if necessary. 6. **Communication**: I provide regular updates so you can stay informed about your pets’ well-being while you’re away. This can include text messages, photos, or videos. 7. **Bonding**: Building a trusting relationship with your pets is crucial, so I always approach them gently and positively to help them feel secure and loved. 19. Michelle M.
About: I’ve helped with feeding and caring for my neighbor’s cats from a very young age, and in my adult life I have years of first hand experience as a mom and a cat and dog mom. I’ve cared for other dogs as well, sitting for our neighbor’s golden retriever many times as well as a client’s elderly yellow lab. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom with school age children and I work a few free lance jobs. My schedule is very flexible, especially during the school days and on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and an extremely friendly and energetic 2.5 year old long-haired german shepherd. I also have 2 cats, one usually keeps to herself and one who enjoys spending time with the dog.
20. Rose G.
“Perfect looong daycare experience. Exactly what I needed. I was kind of short notice on a pre- 4th of July weekend that I was bestowed a 11 hour work shift. She was a great communicator. My dog was ruined socially by a 5 day boarder in the past, but got along with her dog. Rose was so sweet and her preteen son was shy but kind and responsible. 10/10.”
