About: I am a devoted animal person. Loving and caring for animals of all kinds describes my passion. I’ve been a pet owner all of my adult life. I am a retired teacher and mother of three grown children living with my husband, family dog and son’s cat. Helping pay the bills while being with animals sounds like a win-win to me! I live in a modest home, in the country, with a fenced in yard. Pets will be allowed in and out as needed. I also live on a small lake but pets only have access to it when the gate is open. I love walking and will most likely be taking your fur baby for a short daily walk while they stay with me.

I treat my dog and my cat like they’re part of my family. I want your pets to feel loved while you’re away, so I will do everything I can to ensure that happens. I will make sure they are fed exactly as you need me to, I will administer medications (if they need them), we will go on walks, and if they are allowed to sleep in a bed, they can sleep with me also. I will make sure your home is straightened up before your return as well. I have a completely open schedule; so I can stop over any time of the day that you need care. Whether it’s early morning, or late evening, I can make that work for you. I will treat your home as if it is my own home. I will clean up after your pet and myself. From the minute our dog met Morgan I could tell things would go well. Morgan was very timely and sent pictures and details about each visit with our dog Leo. I was out of town and when I asked if she could do a couple of extra things to care for Leo she happily agreed. She is very trustworthy, attentive to details and caring. I look forward to having her help with Leo again in the future.

About: Hi, I’m Madison! I’m a professional canine trainer, behaviorist, groomer, and full-time caretaker with 12 years of hands-on experience. I’m certified in dog behavior, temperament, body language, and care—so I understand what dogs need to feel safe, confident, and happy. I create enriching, balanced environments where every dog can thrive. From playful activities to structured downtime and personalized attention for pups with unique needs, I tailor each day to your dog’s individual personality. With me, your furry family member is treated like my own—showered with love, positive guidance, and plenty of tail-wagging fun! I give every dog my full attention, making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at ease. Most days, you’ll find us outside soaking up the fresh air—running, playing, and exploring together. And if you ever wonder where I am, I’m probably out back with the pack having a blast. When winter hits, we move the fun into our heated, pup-friendly garage. It’s set up just for them, with turf or rubber mats for comfort and tons of toys to keep tails wagging. No matter the weather, your dog will always have a cozy, engaging, and joyful space to call their home-away-from-home. Your pup’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority! Our fully fenced-in backyard is designed with your dog’s comfort and enjoyment in mind, featuring pools, toys, water bowls, and all the essentials for a fun and enriching experience. Each dog is fed separately to maintain a peaceful and individualized routine. For dogs who prefer more privacy, we provide private rooms to ensure they have a quiet space away from the other dogs when needed. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and personalized environment for every dog in our care.

About: I have 3 years experience working as a kennel attendant. I have cared for dogs of many breeds and temperaments. If needed I am able to administer oral and injectable medication such as insulin. I work split shifts throughout the week. I usually work from 8am-12:30pm & 3pm-6pm in a day. This gives me the flexibility and time to give the adequate care needed for your pet. It very much depends on each specific dog and their needs. I have cared for dogs that need to be crated while I leave the house and dogs that are able to have free range of the house. I work great with dogs that love to play and have energy, but I have also cared for dogs that are nervous and may need some space and trust building. Depending on the temperament and size of the dog I may offer in home boarding (I do have a well tempered male shih tzu at home)

About: I am available in the evenings and weekends so I can be with your pets at all time and tend to their needs. I have owned dogs my whole life as well as cats. I have also grown up on a farm so I am very comfortable caring for large farm animals as well. I have 2 dogs of my own who are both very dog friendly and 1 cat who sometimes thinks she's a dog but doesn't care for other cats as she was attacked by other cats before we took her in. I love all animals and breeds don't matter to me. Your fur child will be treated and cared for like they are my own! I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have long leads, go for walks and go to the dog parks frequently so your pet would get plenty of exercise.

About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. That experience gave me a deep understanding of obedience training, behavior development, socialization, and building trust with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. As a stay-at-home dad, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. During the school year, I have flexibility and availability throughout the day for drop-ins, walks, feedings, and check-ins. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience training puppies for Canine Companions for Independence and a lifetime of owning both dogs and cats, I’m highly observant of behavior and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.

About: Dogs that come into my home will be loved, cuddled, learn tricks, always have a cozy place to sleep. We live on 3 acres but have a section that is fenced in for dog safety. I do not recommend having dogs that like to jump on fences here at our home until I can get ours replaced, as it is only 4 ft tall. But is excellent for non jumpers We will enjoy walks a couple times a day around our property. We have a golden retriever that loves having a playmate. We love all breeds, any size, any age. I am a single mom of a 7 year old so excited to take on extra responsibility. Dogs are our family. They need to be treated in a loving, kind, gentle manner. You can guarantee that your pup will be completely safe, and we'll taken care of in my care. I have never not owned a dog or cat. They have been a part of my life for many years. We also own 27 chickens and are willing to do drop in visits for chickens if needed as you go on vacation. My son is a great help with feeding, watering, collecting eggs, and light chicken coop cleaning. I work morning to early afternoon. I am usually home by 1 or 2 p.m. After I take care of my pets I am available to care for yours. I have a fenced in backyard. If the weather is extremely hot out I don't keep the dogs outside longer than after they do their business. I am a kind, hearted animal lover at heart. Your pet will get a lot of attention. I am a dog groomer as well.

About: I have connected with dogs my entire life, and I wouldn't have it any other way! I enjoy the company of dogs so much that I have spent years in the pet care industry, and have been officially a "dog mom" for past nine years to my own delightful fur babies. I have worked and lived with dogs of all breeds, energy levels, and abilities and I love them all! I am currently looking for new clients who are looking for mid-day dog walker. I am a freelancer so I am able to control my over schedule. I am so grateful to be able to provide year-round dog walking services. As someone who loves nature, dogs, and the seasons, I enjoy providing regular walks to pets whose parents may not be able to fit a mid-day walk in their daily schedule. With any dog-sitting services, I also provide regular walks as well as the feeding, caretaking, and snuggling of your pets!

About: I worked in a professional pet care facility for 6 years and that taught me all the skills I need to care for any pet. I can administer any kind of medication to your pet in a calm and safe manner. I am able to continue any training that may have been started for puppies or a new dog as we all know consistency is the key. I have a very social and loving dog of my own if your pet needs a friend. Most of all I will love on your baby(ies) like they are my own! I worked in a professional pet care facility for 6 years and I am now working in a Theater. Due to some lulls in my schedules I am hoping to get back to loving on all different types of animals while their owners are away or just need extra help I have a very large fenced in yard with a 6ft+ fence to keep all dogs safe while giving them plenty of space to run. I do not keep any chemical, plants or other substances that would be toxic to pets and they will always be supervised while having playtime to make sure it is going well. And if your animal just wants a quiet space, I have rooms to do that for them as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
