About: Hi, I’m Madison! I’m a professional canine trainer, behaviorist, groomer, and full-time caretaker with 12 years of hands-on experience. I’m certified in dog behavior, temperament, body language, and care—so I understand what dogs need to feel safe, confident, and happy. I create enriching, balanced environments where every dog can thrive. From playful activities to structured downtime and personalized attention for pups with unique needs, I tailor each day to your dog’s individual personality. With me, your furry family member is treated like my own—showered with love, positive guidance, and plenty of tail-wagging fun! I give every dog my full attention, making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally at ease. Most days, you’ll find us outside soaking up the fresh air—running, playing, and exploring together. And if you ever wonder where I am, I’m probably out back with the pack having a blast. When winter hits, we move the fun into our heated, pup-friendly garage. It’s set up just for them, with turf or rubber mats for comfort and tons of toys to keep tails wagging. No matter the weather, your dog will always have a cozy, engaging, and joyful space to call their home-away-from-home. Your pup’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority! Our fully fenced-in backyard is designed with your dog’s comfort and enjoyment in mind, featuring pools, toys, water bowls, and all the essentials for a fun and enriching experience. Each dog is fed separately to maintain a peaceful and individualized routine. For dogs who prefer more privacy, we provide private rooms to ensure they have a quiet space away from the other dogs when needed. We are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and personalized environment for every dog in our care.

From the minute our dog met Morgan I could tell things would go well. Morgan was very timely and sent pictures and details about each visit with our dog Leo. I was out of town and when I asked if she could do a couple of extra things to care for Leo she happily agreed. She is very trustworthy, attentive to details and caring. I look forward to having her help with Leo again in the future.

About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. That experience gave me a deep understanding of obedience training, behavior development, socialization, and building trust with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve also had dogs and cats my entire life, so caring for animals isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. As a stay-at-home dad, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. During the school year, I have flexibility and availability throughout the day for drop-ins, walks, feedings, and check-ins. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience training puppies for Canine Companions for Independence and a lifetime of owning both dogs and cats, I’m highly observant of behavior and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.

About: Hi there! My name is Ashley, and I’m a lifelong animal lover based in the Kalamazoo area. I work full-time in hospitality sales, but caring for animals has always been one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been dog and cat sitting on and off for about 15 years and love getting the chance to spend time with furry friends of all kinds! I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have a rescue Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix named Leo, who has taught me so much about patience, behavior, and individualized care. I also have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and energy levels, from easygoing seniors to high-energy terriers and anxious or shy pets. I’ve also cared for cats, guinea pigs, and other small pets over the years. I typically prefer caring for pets in their own home because I believe familiar surroundings help them feel more comfortable and less stressed while you’re away. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for the entire time you’re gone. I’m also a big believer in communication, so you can always expect regular updates and photos throughout the stay! I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet. Feel free to reach out with any questions! I work at a job in Kalamazoo from 9-5, Monday-Friday and we have a hybrid work schedule. I need to be in the office 1 full day and another half day for the most part. Depending on my week and schedule I can work where I need to and can adjust based on what you need. Some weeks are busier than others, and typically if I know I can't be available or will be busy for 8 hours or more, I will make myself unavailable. Currently I live in a rental house with a small yard that is not fenced in. I am able to let my dog out in the yard and we also take daily walks. I have a smaller house and prefer to watch dogs in your home if possible. I find that they are much more comfortable in their own home and I can do my best to follow their routine just like you would if you were home.

About: Hello, I'm a big animal lover. Life is always better with furry friends! I have pretty much always had a dog most of my life & always consider them family. I was lucky & got to be there when my former fur baby was born. Her mom let me massage her hips & tummy while in labor. It was her 1st litter & she was awesome!! She let me handle all 9 of the babies after she was done delivering so we could transfer all them to a clean bed & to help rotate at feeding time to ensure they all ate. All 9 survived & were healthy!! I was also a "doula" for my mom's cats pregnancy & she let me massage her tummy & handle her babies right away also. It's a blessing to see & be a part of. I would love to provide a safe and comfortable care for your pet while you are away. I used to have birds, cats, fish, been around reptiles & snakes, turtles, I worked at an eagle rapture center in Alaska which is where I'm from. I have a strong belief to only work in something you love so here I am. :-) Your pet will receive the same love & attention as if they were my own & provide plenty of pictures. Before I became a provider for Rover I used the service a few times myself & was very appreciative when I was given daily updates & pictures & want to provide the same for others. It truly meant a lot to me to get that so I know the importance. -Reliable, Safe, Comfortable w/ all animals -Wellness checks -Doggie daycare in your home-Rover doesn't allow me to add this feature/pricing-please ask for free quote -Pet Sitting -Pet Grooming -Walking/Running/Playtime -Pickup/Drop Off for Appointments -Training -Overnight care -Reiki/Massage for pets -I'm more than happy to help w/ some extra house cleaning (additional) so don't be afraid to ask. Have a lot of flexibility currently so grab your spot I usually book fast between pet care services, house cleaning, care giving job, & wtvr else I decide to dabble in. Customized services to your fur babies needs. Each pet is unique & each visit is different & I'll work with you the best I can.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Bangor. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Bangor.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bangor. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
