I have had many pets of my own and even trained dogs for a few years now on top of my extensive pet sitting experience. Schedules and consistency are key elements when working with animals, so getting to know your animal is very important to me, along with learning the specifics of what owners know their pets need. I am capable of handling medications and some of the more high maintenance or challenging animals. My schedule is very flexible day to day, so your pets will never been alone for more than 6 hours in my care at any given time. You know the best way to keep your pets safe in the times they are left alone or while traveling so I will always follow any instructions you offer to be sure your pet is being cared for responsibly and effectively.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and truly love caring for them. I grew up with a Husky/German Shepard mix which gave me early experience with daily pet care, routines, and understanding dog behavior. In my teens, I fostered a total of 12 dogs over the years, caring for a variety of temperaments and needs. This experience helped me become comfortable with dogs of all ages as well as training dogs. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for 2 years, where I worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. This included feeding, walking, cleaning, and helping dogs feel safe and comfortable. About: I had several dogs when i was in high school. I worked in a dog daycare so I'm used to watching 8 to 17 dogs at once. I also learned about dog behavior so I'm very comfortable around all types of dogs. I'm doing Rover full-time so I will have lots of time to spend giving your best friend all the belly rubs and pets they desire! About: I have experience taking care of senior dogs, large breed dogs, breeds that have been “deemed aggressive,” small dogs and so on! I currently am mom to a 4 year old boxer pit mix who I rescued from the shelter 2 years ago when he was going to be euthanized for “being too large and taking up space.” It’s safe to say that your large dogs will be safe with me, as they have a special place in my heart! I enjoy the time I spend with every dog I take care of, and I promise to take your furry friend on adventures and I promise to keep them enriched during their time with me! I understand how hard it is to be away from your pet, and knowing they are in good hands and adventuring makes the time away easier. I also have experience with dogs that are more active than others and who need more enrichment than other dogs. I’m a pro at making a frozen Kong, frozen lick mat, or a treat puzzle! I work full-time but maintain a highly structured daily routine centered around my two dogs. I am fully available for walks and drop-in visits during early mornings, evenings, and all day on weekends, ensuring your pet gets dedicated, reliable care. I do not care for pets in my home but I am willing to do drop in visits, walks or even extended stays with my clients pets. I care for every dog as I do my own, and I will strictly follow the rules that the client has laid out for me (for example, if your pet needs to be crated at a certain time, I will ensure that they are crated at that time!)
