About: Hi, I’m Katie! 🐾 I’m a lifelong animal lover, mom of four, and experienced pet caregiver who genuinely believes our pets are part of the family. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets. I’m attentive to routines, feeding instructions, medications, exercise needs, and all those little quirks that make your pet unique. I have experience with dogs, cats, puppies, and a variety of animals through our own busy little homestead. Whether your pup needs a good walk, some playtime, companionship while you’re away, or simply lots of love and attention, I’m happy to help! I’m home full-time for most of the day, with only school drop-offs/pick-ups and occasional errands taking me away. Because of that, I have a very flexible schedule and can provide frequent potty breaks, typically every 1–2 hours, as well as regular check-ins, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I love being home and having animals around, so pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle rather than feeling like just another job. 🐾 I tailor care to each pet’s individual needs, personality, routine, and comfort level. For boarding and doggy daycare in my home, pets become part of our household routine with plenty of attention, supervised play, potty breaks, and downtime. I have a large home and a country setting, so there’s room for pets to be comfortable and enjoy their time here. For dog sitting and walks, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible—including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, potty breaks, and any special instructions. I’m home full-time for the most part, so I’m able to provide frequent care and attention rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll communicate with you throughout their stay or visit and am happy to send photos and updates so you know how they’re doing. 🐾
About: 10 years dog owner and lifetime cat owner. Very patient and caring with animals. Good at following instructions if special care is needed. Not scared of large dogs. I work part time from home so my schedule is pretty flexible when it comes to pet sitting walks or what ever the job requires. I have two large dogs Rottweiler and Pitt Rottweiler mix and three cats. I do have a part time job with a variable schedule, so depending on the dates I may or may not have to go to work for about 8 hours. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
