“Luke and his family were exceptional! He was incredibly flexible with accommodations. We were able to leave Rosie and Loki with him in complete confidence that they would be taken care of, and provided daily photos and updates. I would highly recommend!”

“Beth and Tracy were absolutely wonderful with Duke. Beth communicated often and took lots of pictures. They took wonderful care of our pup, which made us feel really good and allowed us to relax and enjoy our vacation.”

“Debra was absolutely amazing! She truly enjoys dog sitting and it showed thru her genuine excitement to care for our Goldendoodle after our meet-n-greet. It honestly felt like leaving our dog at Grandmas. She took our dog in on Christmas Day and even got him a present. She even shared some of her Christmas dinner ham with him (after asking for permission of course). Debra genuinely loves caring for dogs. She sends updates and photos throughout the day. We’ve never left our dog with a dog sitter before and she put us at ease after meeting with her. We couldn’t be happier with the care she gave our needy and active Goldendoodle. We HIGHLY recommend letting Debra care for your 4 legged child. She will give them all the love and attention they can handle.”

“Our dog Charlie had another great stay with Julie! She always takes such good care of him. He is a busy dog, but he comes home from his stays with her tired and happy.”

“Our three Frenchies loved staying with Clara! I was nervous about leaving them for 11 days because this was new for them. They did great!!! Clara made sure they were happy and well taken care of. When we picked them up they were happy to see us, but not frantic to get home. I will for sure book with her again.”

“This was my first time going on vacation without my puppy. I was so worried about everything but Kim made everything so easy and smooth. Her own dog Milo is so friendly and my girl had so much fun staying with them for a few days. Thank you so much Kim for taking great care of Fiona!!”

“Madison took Studly for us at the last minute when we had to visit a sick friend. My dog is a little 16 pounder but he had a great time playing with her three very large but well behaved dogs. My little guy did joust fine overnight there and I really appreciated how accommodating she was about our last minute need.”

“Kari and her family did an absolutely fantastic job, taking care of Sebastian. Not only were her doggies and family great with him, I would rebook with them anytime I could! Definitely recommend them for anybody that needs a dog sitter! Thank you guys!!”

“Jenai and Sean were lovely!! We had Jenai and Sean watch our dog Bernie for a weekend while we tied the knot! We hardly ever leave our baby and were a little anxious about it until we met them and they are just so great!”

“This is my second time bringing my dog to Natasha. My dog was so excited to see her and ran up to her door and never looked back to say goodbye to me 😂. He gets a lot of interaction and play time with her dogs. I would 100% recommend Natasha to take care of your pet. I have zero worries while away”

“Elizabeth was so great with my dog for the weekend. He was so happy and relaxed when I picked him up. She also kept me updated with how he was doing and pictures of him. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you Elizabeth!”

“Tasha was amazing with my two dogs! I really enjoyed all the updates and photos and they were so spoiled with snuggles and walks! I will definitely book again in the future.”

“Trina is an excellent dog caretaker. Our little Bean had so much fun and you could tell she felt very loved. She'll treat your pup like it's her own. She's generous, dedicated and kind. We will definitely be using her services again.”

“If you need someone fantastic to board your dog with, look no further! Becky is super communicative, attentive, and kind. Her home is lovely and safe, with a fantastic backyard, and the sweetest golden retriever whom our dog adores!”

“Kaity and family made the process very smooth. It was great to have a meet and greet in advance as well. I appreciated her quick responses to my messages, as well as having Zoey so warmly welcomed in her home. This is our first time using Rover for care and we will definitely do so again.”

“Sydney was amazing! You can tell as soon as you walk through her door that her heart belongs to animals. I was so nervous leaving my old man with a stranger for the first time. But I got updates daily. He got to go on walks and get lots of love and attention. I picked him up and he was brushed and smiling. I am so happy with Sydney's service.”

“I can’t recommend Kathy enough! She hosted my dog (Maple) for two nights and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kathy is very experienced, a great communicator, and clearly loves dogs! Her home is so welcoming and my Maple had a wonderful time going for nature walks and sunbathing in the yard. If you’re looking for a home away from home for your pup in the Portage area, I highly recommend contacting Kathy.”

Cat caregivers near you - Glendale

About: I am a lifelong cat owner. All cats have a unique personality. I look forward to seeing what your cat is like. From snuggles to playtime I look forward to making your cat as comfortable as they are at home

About: I've cared for both healthy cats and cats with underlying conditions. For 10 years I had a cat that was diabetic that I had to administer insulin to. My current cat is 15 and requires a lot of love and attention. My cat Mabel is a rescued kitten/ cat almost 16 years ago on Halloween night while coming home from work , about 4 cars ahead of me something went flying out the window . I was able to stop and pull over due to not having other cars behind me . It was very cold that night and the sun was just starting to set . I got out of my car and looked around for a few minutes but didn't see anything and I got ready to leave I hear faint cry and I turned and looked down into some tall weeds and there she was , this poor malnourished kitten crying for help . To make a long story short I got her home and the day my wife and I took her to vet . They kept her for 3 days running ivs into her . We able to come and after 3 days thinking she wasn't going make it. And here she is still with after such a traumatic start to her life . I am very grateful to have Mabel as my best friend and wouldn't trade for the world . I love you very much Mabel .

About: My family has owned cats for most of my life. I have also had multiple neighbors and family friends ask me to cat-sit, and I have loved it. Cats are so fascinating to me along with all animals. My responsibility stems from my passion for these lovely creatures.

About: I have owned a cat for over a year now and I have taken very good care of him. Before then, I have cat sat for some of my neighbors, checking in on the kitties daily while they were away on vacation. I took care of their litter, feeding schedule, and making sure they had clean/fresh drinking water at all times. I also played with them for 15-20 minutes for three times throughout the day. A funny little thing I have trained my cat to do is to let me gently stretch him (he lets me stretch his legs individually. I really think it helps him because of arthritis.) and he is comfortable with being held! I would never do any of that with kitties that I am not familiar with though. I respect that cats have boundaries that should never be crossed and I love that about them!

About: I’ve cared for cats of all personalities—from playful kittens to calm seniors. I understand that cats have their own unique needs and routines, and I provide gentle, patient, and attentive care during every visit. Feeding, fresh water, and medication if needed. Litter box cleaning and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Playtime, cuddles, and mental enrichment. Regular updates with photos so you know your cat is happy and comfortable.
“Morgan was great as always! She took great care of our fur babies. She even cleaned out the food dishes when they were empty. Love having her come take care of our babies.”

About: As we all know, cats are pretty independent and self-reliant, so any cat care I provide would include feeding, watering and litter, maintenance and disposal. Along with any other instructions or care that is needed!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Glendale

“Excellent day care service. Very good people, nice clean home and yard. Animals are very well cared for. Service providers went above and beyond my expectations. Would definitely recommend and use again.”
“I can’t say enough great things about Katherine and her lovely pups/cats! She was incredibly attentive to my pup, communicated clearly and consistently, and truly went above and beyond to care for Percy. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and caring sitter.”

“Ellie did a fantastic job watching my pup and was a pleasure to work with! She made sure Ophie’s needs were met and provided a great environment for her to get her energy out. I got plenty of updates during her stay, and she came home relaxed and happy. I highly recommend Ellie’s services!!”

“Debbie did a great job watching our mini golden doodle while we were having trees cut down. Rosa warmed up to her quickly. Will be bringing Rosa over to her house for some overnights this summer.”

“Natalie is incredibly self-possessed, which creates a sense a calmness around her that Greta reacted to right away. From all the updates she sent, I could tell my girl was relaxed and just being welcomed to be herself. It was clear from the photos provided that Natalie was getting right on her level and that Greta felt secure. I was late droping-off and picking up, but Natalie was so flexible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm really looking forward to seeing Greta get even more comfortable there, and it just felt like the right fit. I really trusted that Natalie would use good judgement if any issues were to arise, and they actually live a couple doors down from a vet. I could tell Natalie was confident in this role, my dog felt safe and cared for, and I could enjoy my time knowing that she was in capable hands. Greta was so calm when I picked her up, when normally she seems a little frantic to be back with me (even at my mom's)-- if you're looking for a chill place for your pet to feel at ease, this is it. Natalie also asked a lot of important questions when I dropped off Greta which made it clear she was thinking ahead and trying to create an environment that my girl could be happy in. I'm so appreciative of Natalie's considerate approach.”
“Hanna did a wonderful job with our high energy Mastiff! Her dogs were great play buddies, and she sent frequent updates and pictures throughout the day. 100% would recommend!”

About: Big or small, I love them all! 💕 I’ve had pets since I was a small child. I’ve cared for sick puppies & kittens, elderly cats & dogs. I have 3 years experience working at a pet bathing company. There I learned a lot about proper hygiene of various breeds and how to safely handle aggressive pets. I also have 400+ hours of volunteer horse care at an equine therapy barn. I walk my own dog daily and he is high energy. I’m always in search of play pals for him to burn energy with. Let us walk your pup! I love to snuggle my pets & make sure they are clean and bug free. I can bathe and lightly groom your pets when needed. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies. ❤️
About: I’ve been around animals since I was born. I’ve had a lot of experience with dogs, and I love to be around them. My favorite thing to do is to be with animals. I have my own Siberian Husky that I will need to drop in on occasionally I do have a dog of my own. But other then babysitting for family and doctors appointments I am pretty free other than that. I love all animals and love getting new experiences. I would feed the pets, let them out every few hours. Keep them company, play with them take them for walks, anything that would be needed.
About: I have had dogs my whole life and they bring me so much joy. I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages and sizes and I’ve found that I enjoy them all. I’ve had experience with training, potty training and have helped family and friends with dog walking. I currently go to school online so I am home most of the day. I have an older dog of my own so I am used to a routine of being able to be home to let me dog outside and take him for walks at least once a day. I have a fenced in backyard so that your dog can be outside as much as they like. I also have a dog that absolutely loves other animals. My son is a big fan of helping out with animals and we both enjoy snuggling up with our dog at the end of the day. I do allow dogs on furniture and in all rooms of my house, however I will respect if this is something you do not wish your dog to do.
“Nayoma was great! It was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family. He takes a while to warm up to others but Nayoma was patient with him and he got more comfortable as the day went on. We were happy to get an update and some pictures of him throughout the day. I will definitely use Nayoma again in the future!”

About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and they have enriched my life so much. I volunteered at animal shelters, working with dogs of all kinds, and socializing with the cats. I regularly walked dogs and was a dog/house sitter for over a year, then took a brief hiatus while I was working full time and am getting back into dog sitting now that I have a house of my own, and can offer boarding services! I have also had two puppies over my life that I helped raise and take care of into their old age. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to spend loving your critters, and my partner works fully remote so he is available to let dogs in and out while I am gone! We have a large fenced in backyard with lots of room to run and play, plus we love going on walks when we have dogs visiting us. We have two cats, Swiper and Bilbo, who are both familiar with dogs, and can be shy but very friendly. They also have their own hideaway which houses their food and litter that dogs do not have access to in case they need some time to themselves. My mom's dog, Juno, also visits us frequently, and she LOVES having playmates around and gets along with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I make sure to take swift action on any problems that may arise, and communicate frequently in detail. You can rest easy knowing I treat any critter in my care as if they were one of my own, and you will also receive picture updates every day, usually multiple times a day.

About: I bring over 15 years of experience as a puppy trainer for Canine Companions for Independence, where I helped raise and train service dog puppies with structure, consistency, and patience. I’m comfortable reinforcing training, working with puppies, and providing gentle, attentive care for senior pets. I understand routines, communication, and the importance of making pets feel safe and secure while their owners are away. What sets me apart is reliability, experience, and treating every pet like family — with structured care, attention to detail, and consistent updates for peace of mind. As a stay-at-home dad, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. During the school year, I have flexibility and availability throughout the day for drop-ins, walks, feedings, and check-ins. Summers are even more open, allowing me to offer consistent, reliable care with a flexible schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m able to prioritize punctuality, routine, and communication. Pet care isn’t something I try to squeeze in — it’s something I can intentionally plan my day around to ensure your pets receive dependable, attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules carefully, provide exercise or playtime based on their needs, clean litter boxes or pick up waste promptly, and reinforce any household rules or training already in place. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on consistency, patience, and attentiveness. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience training puppies for Canine Companions for Independence and a lifetime of owning both dogs and cats, I’m highly observant of behavior and body language, ensuring your pet feels safe, secure, and well cared for at all times.

“Krystal is wonderful with dogs and very understanding of their different quirks. She was able to help me out last minute over the Christmas holiday and I couldn’t be more thankful. I would definitely recommend her.”
