About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was 10 years old, and being around animals truly makes me happy. I’m a big animal and nature lover, and caring for pets has always come naturally to me. I’m patient, loving, and very detail-oriented, so I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for like family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I create a calm and cozy environment where they can feel right at home. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Your fur baby will rarely feel alone and will be treated like part of the family in a calm, loving home environment. We have a large fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. My sweet Golden Retriever, Fifi, is gentle, friendly, and loves the company of other dogs, making it a warm and welcoming environment for your pet. I always make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for.
“Charish did a fantastic job with our Sheepadoodle, Nooga for an overnight stay. We did a meet and greet the week before her stay. While we were gone we got updates with pictures! Nooga seemed to be content and enjoyed her stay. Really appreciate The Charish took to love on our girl!”

“Crista was a great dog sitter. She sent me pictures everyday of my pups and gave little updates throughout the day, which let me relax and enjoy my trip worry free. Would recommend 10/10 🌟”

“Megan was so great with my dog Oreo. She sent pictures and reassured me that things were going great. I think my dog has a new best friend with her dog. They had a wonderful play date/sleep over. I highly recommend Megan, and I know I will be working with her again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years and regularly care for the pets of family and friends. I truly love animals and enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I treat every animal as if they were my own and give them the same care, attention, and affection I’d want for my own pets. After all, pets are family. My schedule is very flexible as a part time server and college student. I’m generally available every day before 4 PM, and I often have evening availability depending on my work schedule. I’m happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their needs and can accommodate most requests with advance notice. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to create a safe, stress free environment. I have a very friendly dog who loves other animals and can provide a crate if needed. I follow each pet’s routine, respect their individual needs, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care while their family is away.
“Brandy was so sweet to my pup and sent daily updates! She was very responsive as well. He came back to me in awesome spirits and seemed to have a great time! I would definitely re-book with her!”

“Our two puppies Asher and Snoopy had a wonderful week away from their pawrents this past week! Bethani made them feel at home and gave them a great amount of exercise while we were away on our trip! Thank you Bethani!!! Looking forward to having our pups stay again with you!!!”

“Elaina took such great care of our Stella! She consistently sent updated pictures and videos of Stella and provided daily updates on her well-being. Stella received lots of loving attention just like at her home. We felt happy that Stella acted and looked very happy in every pic that was sent. Stella came back clean, and calm seemed to be so relaxed. We will be using Elaina again!! Great backyard for an active dog like Stella. She seemed to have made a new friend with "Bug", their dog and their sweet two-year-old daughter.”

“Smokeybear did well. Christina took very good care of him. I could tell she loves all animals and treated Smokey as one of her own pets. He seemed very happy after his stay there Thank you Christina.”

“Absolutely amazing and stunning experience. Abigail was incredible! I got so many photos and videos. She took my dog to the dog park many times and even took him in to get a few toys when he chewed up the ones I sent with him. 100% my dog did NOT want to leave her, he had such a great time! Abigail is new to this platform, but has great experience. Definitely give her your business!”

“Our dogs were given so much love over the last week. One of our pups had an upset tummy in the middle of the week and she kept us updated. She sent us pictures and I'm so thankful that I know they got lots of attention. We already another trip booked using them and a 3rd will be booked soon. Thanks for loving on my babies ❤️ Amy P.”

“This was my first time with Brittany. I think she did a terrific job with Dixie. Dixie was safe, fed and came back home happy. I will definitely use Brittany again in the future 🩷🐶 I can tell she loves dogs 🐕 ❤️”

About: Surrounding myself around pets has always given me serenity and peace. I worked at a dog resort where I fed, walked, played with, cleaned up after, and even had nap time with many dogs. I have studied dog behavior and group play through lessons given by my employment at the dog resort. I can administer medication and do my absolute best at following any requirements your fur baby needs! I have a friendly mini golden doodl), a playful toy Australian Shepherd, and two sweet cats whom I love to pieces! I also work from home and have a very flexible schedule. If you choose to get your baby taken care of by me, I will treat them like my own ❤️ I work from home and have a flexible schedule so they will have all of my attention! If they want it lol. I can also work around specific times you want your dog to eat, medication administered, etc. I have a fenced yard and two dogs that love to play! I can also provide a safe room and playpen for your dog to be in whenever I’m not home if that’s what they please!
“Our dog loved staying with Rachel & her family!! So much so that he didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. 😂 Rachel was communicative and lovely and she took amazing care of our pup. We’re always a little anxious when we leave him, but it was clear from the many pictures and texts that he was well cared for, happy, and safe. We will absolutely be repeat clients.”

“Thank you for watching Holli for me! Not sure she wanted to come home. She was happy and calm when she came home. I would recommend you to all my friends! Thank you for caring for my little Holli!”

“Emily and Samuel were great with our Husky puppy. It was our first time away from him for a vacation, and they helped us feel so at ease. From photos to timely updates, we so appreciated the level of care they took in looking after our doggo!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
