“Rachel and Justin are nothing short of phenomenal! Leaving my puppy Queenie in their care was the best decision I made. They treated her like a member of their own family, going above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well-cared for. Their flexibility and warm welcome immediately eased any nerves I had about leaving her with strangers. About: I have loved all animals since childhood. I volunteer at APA and Austin Animal Center, so I have experience walking dogs, as well as handling other animals, such as guinea pigs. I have completed canine good citizen training with my dog Abby Cadabby, and soon will be doing therapy dog training. I also have 2 guinea pigs, Chuy and Casper, who have their own room that is separated from other animals. During the school year, I am working full time but have Summers off. During school breaks I will be home more often. I usually get home right after school, so your pet will not be home alone longer than 8 hours. My dog loves other dogs and is known for helping shy dogs come out of their shells. I have experience with pet care at the animal shelters. I often take my dog to dog parks so she gets her social time. I have a large fenced yard with a very friendly dog who loves to play with dogs of all sizes. She is in the house during the day while I am away at work. My 2 guinea pigs are in their own room, which locks from the outside, so if your pet has a high pray drive they will be separate. My Abby loves visitors and will help your dog get plenty of play and exercise. I will be able to board dogs, but can also check on your pets in your home, provide walks, and possibly house sit, though I would want to bring my dog. I can also check on your guinea pigs, rabbits, etc.

“Gail is lovely and so kind. She took great care of Harley, who came home tired and happy! Gail provides great updates, so I know Harley is in good hands.”

“Gus had the best time! Great communication and very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the Austin area or just visiting and need a sitter (like I did).”

About: Safety and attention to detail is key to creating a safe environment and fun. Many volunteer years in veterinary clinics. Confident, loving and assertive when needed. I believe it is important to read their energy and meet them where they need it. I own a small business from home. Am a Mom, single by choice, and have flexibility. My home is warm, safe and spacious. Animal love. I treat anyone’s animals as if they were mine. I enjoy their energy, treat them with respect and understand that sudden changes may affect them.

“Madeline was great with my husky Lena! While we were visiting Austin I needed daycare for a couple days and Madeline was fantastic. Lena had some anxiety being dropped off in a new place but Madeline was super attentive and took her for long walks. Lena became much more comfy and adjusted and excited to return the second day. She was settled in by the end of her stay. I highly recommend Madeline’s services :)”

About: With 17 years of experience caring for senior and special needs dogs, I offer attentive, compassionate boarding for small and calm medium-sized pups. I’m confident administering medications and passionate about rescue and hospice fostering. I work from home in a peaceful space with a fenced yard, and your dog will share it with my friendly 13-year-old chihuahua, a former heartworm survivor who loves meeting new friends. My background includes running my own dog walking and house sitting service, and I bring both love and professionalism to every booking. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have plenty of company and supervision. My routine is calm and consistent—perfect for senior dogs or small-to-medium pups who thrive in peaceful environments. I welcome dogs with moderate energy, but I’m not the right fit for high-energy breeds that need intense exercise or constant stimulation. My 13-year-old chihuahua, Shelby, is a mellow cohost who enjoys meeting new friends—as long as they’re respectful of her slower pace. I have a fenced yard, and I’m always outside with dogs during potty breaks or playtime—never left alone. I don’t leave the house often, and when I do, it’s only for short errands—Shelby usually comes along. For dogs with special needs, I make sure they’re never left unsupervised. My home has hardwood floors (great for the occasional accident), plus gates, dog beds, and plenty of cozy blankets to create safe, comfortable spaces when needed.

“I can't say enough about Robin and her care for my dog. My dog doesn't always get along with other dogs and Robin makes sure everyone is safe.”

“She takes care of my deaf and partially blind puppy--what more can I say?! He gets lots of walks with her and thrives on her one-on-one attention. I know it's a good day when he comes home tired, which is very hard to accomplish with him. :) I was worried about him being in an apartment, but they go outside so often, it really isn't an issue for him. Vivien is attentive, responsive, and extremely patient with my high energy (and sometimes high needs) puppy. Thanks Vivien!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was eight years old from: Dachshunds to Labs to Huskies and etc. I believe the best way to train/build trust with a dog is through a lot of love, extreme patience, plenty of treats, and a willingness to understand that dogs will be dogs sometimes. I work fully remote from my fenced-in house Monday-Fri with my girlfriend Monica and her German Short Haired Pointer, Coco. We both take care of her throughout the week. I give Coco walks during lunch and access to outside to bark at the squirrels when she needs to. Happy to bring your pup into the fold or walk/work with separately if needed. I believe the best way to build a relationship with dogs is love, patience, trust and plenty of treats! In my experience, it’s always best to come in with a willingness to wait and understanding that dogs will be dogs.

“Brandon provided updates and made sure my dog had a great, relaxing time! She came out very rested and relaxed.”

“We highly recommend Emily! You should not hesitate to have her care for your pet. Our regular sitter was not available, and leaving our dog with someone new is always anxiety inducing. Within one minute of chatting with Emily I knew I was comfortable with leaving our dog with her for the day, and by the end of the day, I knew we had a great sitter to add to our rotation... giving us more freedom to do things on short notice when the dog can't come. Emily was super communicative and clearly treated our dog like she was her own. We look forward to working with her again!”

“Antonio has been wonderful, he is really friendly and kind, he has been really caring and helpful with Romeo. He has been really accommodating with our time schedule and Romeo was super happy and exited after playing with Biscotti. We will recommend him and of course we will request his services again :)”
