“Aine was a great sitter for Axl and her dog Fionn became besties with our dog :). We got lots of updates and pics all along. Our dog came back looking happy and healthy! Would highly recommend Aine!”

“I can’t thank Gol enough for taking such amazing care of my dog. Because of my student situation, my dog lives with me in an apartment and isn’t very social, so this was the first time I was leaving him with someone else. I was honestly very anxious. But Gol completely changed that. She took him out to her large backyard every two hours for playtime, and she kept me updated with videos. Seeing those videos made all the difference — I could clearly see how happy and relaxed he was. Even from the way he wagged his tail, it was obvious he felt safe, comfortable, and emotionally cared for. I’m truly grateful. She went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust her again. I’ll definitely be a regular customer from now on.💚”

“Super sitter! Graciously accommodated a schedule change due to weather and took super care of my pup. Sent great pics showing mine and her dogs enjoying her spacious back yard. 10/10 will rover again!”

“Maria took special care with our 7mo old mini aussie, Poppy. She sent us wonderful pictures showing Poppy going on walks, finding toys around the house, and enjoying the attention. Maria took every request seriously and provided the best care for our dog. We feel much more settled now about upcoming trips, because we know we can trust Maria with our little ones! Book her!”

“Antonio had great communication from the start. He came over to see our place and meet Zoey before our vacation. I felt very comfortable with his help. “Jeffrey is an amazing cat sitter. My cats feel comfortable around him and he makes an effort to interact with each of them at every one of his check-ins. They’re always excited when he drops by. He is a professional and I can’t recommend he enough to anyone who is looking for excellent care.”

“Nicole took such great care of Teddy while my husband and I were away! She send updates and photos and handled his medication perfectly. Would recommend Nicole!”

“John was an awesome sitter! I mixed up booking dates — meant to book for Thanksgiving but accidentally booked the week before — and John graciously helped adjust the booking and was still able to take care of my cat over the holiday. He sent great daily updates with lots of photos and got my sometimes timid fur baby to warm up to pets and being brushed right away. I’m also a freak about shoes in certain parts of the house & he kindly obliged my request! I’d love to book with him again in the future.”

About: My entire childhood (and adulthood) I grew up with animals. Cats, dogs, turtles, ducks, geese, rabbits, you name it. I used to work at a doggy day care and in college I nannied for a big family with a few dogs. I personally have 2 cats myself. I love animals so much and truly wanted to start pet sitting because I just wanted to spend time with animals. I’m totally good with giving medicine, walks, park time, car time, whatever your baby needs. I’m here for it all! I’m in field sales so my schedule is super flexible! I make my own schedule so can fit in any time to see your babies! I drive all over town so can make anything work. I love to make sure your pet gets the care they need - so if that’s outside time for 20 minutes then we will do that. If it’s playing around for 20 minutes then we will do that or if they just want pets, of course we can do that. I currently live in an apartment so all visits would have to be in your home.

“I definitely recommend Dale for peace of mind when leaving your furry friends. He took excellent care of my senior fur baby and even got my nervous cat to warm up. He sent great photos and updates the whole time, and went above and beyond tidying their litter and eating areas. I would absolutely have Dale back to care for my guys!”

“Lillian was great — highly recommend! She was very kind and responsive, and played with our cat so well. I felt such peace of mind knowing she was checking on them and getting cute photos :)”

“I know Sami is a great pet sitter because our cats couldn’t care less about us when we got home. Sami followed all of our instructions, including giving medicine. She sent lots of great photos and when one of our cats had an accident she cleaned up without issue. She is reliable and caring and we felt confident leaving our cats with her. Our kitties look forward to having her back. :)”

“Alexandra was so nice and took great care of my kitties. She sent lots of pictures and updates every day and my kitties were doing great when I arrived back home. I would definitely trust Alexandra with my cats anytime!”

“Misha helped us out with somewhat last minute care for our cats and we are so lucky to have found him. He was very communicative, sent us tons of picture updates, and definitely went above and beyond. We definitely hope to be repeat customers!”

“I had a bad experience with a different booking on Rover, and Olivia brought my faith back in this process. She was very flexible when I had to change times, extremely punctual with her visits, and the communication was always there. I will be booking her for future travel plans. A+++!”

“Maria was an amazing cat sitter!! She sent me updates and lots of photos of my kitty and I felt totally comfortable leaving knowing she was there. She even left me a treat for my cat for after she was done sitting! Great experience!”

“Abigail provided drop in visits for our kitten Harvey over New Years and was very professional, caring and communicative the entire time. We'll definitely contact her again next time we go out of town!”

“Taylor took great care of my cat while I was away on vacation during the week. I got lots of pictures of him and it seemed like they bonded well. When I got back, he seemed considerably more calm when I got home than he normally would without a sitter. So grateful for Taylors help!”

“Rachel and Justin are nothing short of phenomenal! Leaving my puppy Queenie in their care was the best decision I made. They treated her like a member of their own family, going above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well-cared for. Their flexibility and warm welcome immediately eased any nerves I had about leaving her with strangers. Queenie not only loved spending time with them but also adored their fur children and their son. I couldn’t be happier with the love and attention they provided. I’ll definitely be choosing Rachel and Justin again in the future for their exceptional care and genuine love for dogs!”

About: With 17 years of experience caring for senior dogs and pups who need a little extra support, I offer attentive, compassionate boarding for dogs who would benefit from being the only other pup in a calm, steady environment. I’m confident administering medications and have a long history supporting senior dogs and helping rehabilitate rescue pups. I live in a quiet first‑floor apartment chosen with senior joints in mind, with plenty of nearby green spaces for slow, comfortable walks. Your dog will share the space with my gentle 14‑year‑old chihuahua, Shelby, a former Austin Pets Alive! rescue and heartworm survivor who enjoys meeting respectful new friends. My background includes running my own dog‑walking and house‑sitting service, and I bring steady care and professionalism to every booking. My days move at a stress-free senior‑friendly pace. I’m home the majority of the day, so dogs aren’t left alone for long stretches, and I structure my errands and outings around my guests’ needs. I live in a centrally located, easily accessible gated apartment complex. Your pup would join Shelby and me on relaxed morning and evening walks along the trees and green spaces nearby. Indoors, we have comfy, Shelby‑approved beds in every room, along with hard floors and washable rugs for the occasional senior moment. I keep a toxin‑free home, using simple, pet‑safe products throughout the space. Dogs can also enjoy fresh air on the fully enclosed porch, which is a safe, quiet spot for gentle outdoor time.

“Absolutely recommend Daniel, My pet absolutely loves spending time with him and gets so excited every time he sees him. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and care, which gives me total peace of mind whenever I’m away. He is professional and very reliable. He also keeps me posted by sharing photos and videos!”

“She takes care of my deaf and partially blind puppy--what more can I say?! He gets lots of walks with her and thrives on her one-on-one attention. I know it's a good day when he comes home tired, which is very hard to accomplish with him. :) I was worried about him being in an apartment, but they go outside so often, it really isn't an issue for him. Vivien is attentive, responsive, and extremely patient with my high energy (and sometimes high needs) puppy. Thanks Vivien!”

About: I'm new to Rover but I've been the go to sitter for my friends dogs for years and have fostered several dogs over the last couple of years. I have experience with my own and friend's senior and sick dogs, including giving pills and administering eye and ear medicine. I currently do not have my own pet so I look forward to caring for your little loved ones! My schedule is flexible and I'm available for one-time or recurring drops-in and walks or daycare, as well as limited overnight stays in my home or at yours. I love walks and will let your pup set the pace based on their needs. While I'm not a skilled trainer I love to play and test out any tricks you dog may be learning. For daycare or overnight stays - I have a small fenced in back yard and walking trails nearby. No other pets in the home. Will take your pets on regular walks based on their needs.
About: My love for pets and all animals began when I was very small. I grew up in a small village in Germany and have always been drawn to animals. My family always had cats and bunnies. I've owned many dogs and cats over the years and always treated them like family. My love for animals, especially dogs and cats, encouraged me to open my own grooming salon in December of 2010. Unfortunately I had to close it during the pandemic. I still groom and take care of many of my previous clients' dogs in my home. I can offer full-grooming services either in my home if I'm boarding your pet, or set up my mobile grooming station at your house if I am housesitting. I can provide many references if requested. My partner and I work from home, so there is always someone availableto the dogs. We have a dog door and a very securely fenced yard. We have a front gate to secure the entrance to our home, as well as a second gate inside the front door to prevent escapees. The pets have free roam of our home and are allowed on the furniture unless requested otherwise by you. We allow small dogs on the bed and also have a bench with blankets at the foot of our bed for dogs to sleep on. Please provide a crate should you require your pet to sleep crated. If I am staying in your home, then I will follow your instructions and abide by your wishes.
About: I have grown up always having a dog. I am very caring and attentive to a dog's needs. I enjoy being engaged and active with dogs. I love taking pictures and sending them to the dog owner. I also love helping people and making them feel comfortable and allowing them to trust me with their pet. I think the more information you can provide me about your pet - the better! I work from home and am able to give your pet all the attention they desire. If your dog is used to sleeping in a bed, I have no problem with your dog sleeping in my bed. I encourage you to bring their favorite toy or treats! In April 2020, I got a puppy of my own. His name is Charlie and he is a miniature golden doodle (30 lbs). He is friendly and loves other dogs. I work from home so I’ll be with your pup most of the day! I usually take my dog out in the morning for a walk and let him out in the afternoon and then after work for another walk. I have a backyard, live near a dog park and have lots of nearby areas to take walks! I keep things that could be unsafe out of reach. I have plenty of dog toys in my home.
“Sydney took great care of Bumble. She keeps a clean and secured yard for the dogs to play. I received photo updates throughout the day. Bumble came home tired but very happy. Will be back for sure!”

“My Aussie had his first daycare visit with Ryan. It went very well. Misha felt very comfortable with Ryan and had 2 long walks and came home tired and happy! Thank you Ryan!!!”

About: Hi! My girlfriend and I are dedicated and experienced Rover sitters with a true passion for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I’ve spent years caring for pets through Rover and beyond, building a strong reputation for reliability, attentiveness, and creating a safe, fun environment for every dog I watch. One thing that makes my care unique is that my partner and I work together as a team. With both of us present, your dog gets double the attention, supervision, and playtime. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or just keeping your pup company, we make sure they feel comfortable, engaged, and loved at all times. I have experience with: • High-energy dogs that need lots of activity • Senior dogs requiring extra patience and care • Maintaining routines (feeding schedules, medications, etc.) We treat every dog like family and focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress free as possible. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication while you’re away so you always know your pet is in good hands. If you’re looking for dependable, attentive care with plenty of love and playtime, we’d be happy to help! I like to take the pups to zilker or just spend time with them at home. Don’t mind going on walks if it’s a nice day out. I make sure to play with them, feed them routinely and take them on walks. Open to any other suggestions if needed of course. Thanks
About: I’ve spent my whole life taking care of pets and I have gained experience both in professional and personal settings. I have worked with a wide variety of dogs and cats with all kinds of routines and care needs and have no trouble adapting! I am available during mid June to mid September 2026 since I’m an out of state college student and this is my summer break! I am available for most of the week and can be flexible. Caring for your pet(s) in your home won’t be much of a hassle for me! I’ll be keeping an eye on your pet(s) at all times and will keep to whatever routine you give me. “John is trustworthy, reliable, and extremely calming to my dog. She doesn’t even bark when he arrives which doesn’t happen with anyone else. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life (also fish, hamsters, mice, and a hedgehog). From puppies and kittens to elderly chihuahuas and grouchy senior cats, I have handled it all. I routinely care for pets for my friends and family and am happy to care for your babies too. I'm recently retired so I have a lot of time on my hands! I'm happy to administer medication or cater to your pet in whatever ways they need. I recently retired from my full-time job and will be mostly at home doing a little contract work here and there. I already care for my own five pets (or six if you count the fish) and can easily add yours to the mix. I will listen to what your pet needs and accommodate whatever it is they need/want. I am used to dealing with a diverse group of pets and providing each of them with what they need.
“Thank you so much to Aryanna, she writes such detailed reports and takes such great care of our dog, who - admittedly - is not easy to deal with. We appreciate you Aryanna and can only give our warmest recommendations to anyone looking for a dog walker or sitter!”

About: Working from home allows me to spend more time with my dog and give my clients’ dogs all the attention they deserve. Taking care of my bulldog daily requires applying nose butter, baby whites, dental wipes and more. I am happy to do this for my clients fur babies too! I currently work full time from home as an IT business analyst. This allows me flexibility to help care for other pets all day everyday I have a 4 year old English bulldog at home. I take him on walks daily (when it is not too hot). Due to bulldog’s health issues I clean his face and nose daily. I am very comfortable caring for clients’ pets and providing whatever service they may need.
About: Hi! My name is Anna, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, and I’ve been pet-sitting since I was young. For the past two years, I’ve been a professional dog walker in Chicago with Windy City Dog Walkers, completing an extensive training program and gaining real-world experience in everything from leash manners to handling emergencies. Alongside that, I’ve built lasting relationships with my own private clients, who trust me to care for their pets as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in a variety of settings. I volunteered at a big cat rescue in South Africa, gaining experience in animal care, feeding, and enrichment. I later worked at BloomingPaws, where I cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and personalities, and in Thailand I volunteered with stray dog rescue centers—building patience and confidence in handling shy, energetic, and nervous pups. I also hold a minor in Animal Behavior from Indiana University, which has strengthened my understanding of how to read and respond to each pet as an individual. I have a very flexible schedule as I mostly do freelance work, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your animal. I am happy follow your pet's wants and needs. If your pet prefers to be outside, then we will be outside. If your pet wants attention, then I will give them a ton of attention. I’m passionate about creating safe, fun, and loving experiences for every animal in my care, and I’d be honored to look after yours!
“Great dog walker. Always reliable and shows up when needed. They’ve been walking Sharon since she was a baby puppy, so they’ve been part of her routine for a long time now. Consistent 30-minute walks and solid communication with regular updates. Really trustworthy and a huge help overall. Would definitely recommend.”

“Allison was great! She was able to accommodate my request in such short notice and my girl was able to have her walk and company while I was away for the day.”

About: I’m new to Rover but not new to pet care! My family has always had cats and dogs so I’m always happy and comfortable around animals. I’m very patient, calm and attentive. My cat was very sick when I first got him but his symptoms were very subtle, the vet said had I not been so adamant about getting him checked multiple times, he probably would not have made it. I love all animals and would bring that level of attention to any fur baby that I sit for. I know that each animal requires specific care and is unique in personality and I am happy to work within whatever sitting style would make your pet comfortable and happy. I am trusted sitter for friends and family and would treat your pet with the care and love that I would treat my own. I just graduated with my masters at UT Austin so I currently have a very open schedule! I drive and would be happy to come by whenever you need. I think that it’s really important for your pet to have the care that you think is best. Whatever your routine or situation I’m happy to accommodate to keep your pet on schedule. For example, I am very particular about how I take care of my own cat in my home. He has an automatic feeder and a water fountain so that he is always fed on time and has enough water throughout the day. Each night I play fetch with him for at least 15 minutes to get his energy out before bed. At night time he sleeps next to me the whole time. This is what works for us but everyone’s situation looks different. If you give me a step by step of how your pet likes to be cared for I can assure you I will do exactly that :)
“Megan helped us with walking our dog during the day when both of us were gone for work. She took amazing photos and left a detailed report of their time together on the report card. It gave me so much peace of mind as i started my in office job this week!”

About: Hello! I am Lauren. I'm in my mid thirties and I am absolutely in love with dogs! After staying with me, your dog will look forward to coming back, running inside my home with a wagging tail next time you bring them back. I spoil your dog as if it's my own... that means endless cuddles and belly rubs, sleeping in bed with me, allowed on the furniture, home baked organic chicken treats (if you permit. If they have a chicken allergy, I can make beef instead). I do not accept puppies or dogs over 20 pounds because I like to make this a safe, low energy place, for more mature small dogs. I especially love senior dogs so you can rest assured that your senior dog is safely and gently cared for in all the ways they need. For Boarding: My husband and I both work from our home and love hosting pets. For dogs, we currently only allow small breed (under 25 lbs) and older dogs, although we will make exceptions for younger dogs if they are low energy. No puppies at this time. Only hosting low-energy small dogs makes for a peaceful and stress-free environment for your dog's stay. We always require a meet and greet beforehand to ensure that your dog is a good fit for the pack. I don't host more than 4 dogs at a time to ensure everyone gets enough attention and gets along (Except for holiday weeks, I may take up to 5). The animals are welcome on our furniture and in bed with us. I love having repeat clients and building a good relationship built on trust with your dog and with you. I love seeing your dog happy about getting dropped off at our home and feeling like it's a fun little vacation for them. When they visit multiple times, they know this is a safe, fun and loving environment for them and run right inside like it's their own house. We have a large, fenced in backyard that the dogs love to sniff around in and give lots of treats (if allowed) and constant snuggles and belly rubs. As a fellow dog mom, I know just how terrifying it is leaving your baby with a stranger, so I'll keep you up to date with lots of photos showing them peacefully sleeping or having some fun time and your nerves will be eased knowing they are comfortable in my home.

“Christine was a wonderful dog walker! I had to book a dog walker at the last minute and she was able to step in on a moments notice and go above and beyond!”

They always communicate how they are doing with daily pictures and it really makes being away easier. This last time, Steel had an infection just days before my trip and they handled giving him medication like champs.”

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous. Lacy went above & beyond to make my pups (& myself) the most comfortable. She was great with my older, anxious Howie. There were also plenty of opportunities for my younger pup Kygo to be out & about with other pups. Her knowledge & passion for pets is amazing!”

“Rachel was so comfortable and nurturing with my pup. She knows a lot about dogs and knew what to do with my little guy. He was well cared for there and got lots of snuggles. I felt comfortable leaving him there in her hands. She was great to work with.”

“My dog had tons of fun with Emma! They went on walks everyday, sometimes multiple times a day and Emma sends as many pictures and updates as you want! Totally recommend Emma and will use her services again!”

“Kelsey has watched my dogs multiple times and she is really loving and caring to our dogs, and she’s very reliable and trustworthy! She’s our go to sitter and I believe your dog will be in great hands. Kelsey was a lifesaver! It was short notice and I hadn't found anyone to dog/cat sit. She stayed in contact during my whole trip. Sent pics. Everything was great. She left my home clean and just like I had left it. Will definitely be using her again!! Kelsey was amazing! She was very friendly, communicative and kept me up to date on how my pup was doing the entire time. I will absolutely be booking again with her!”

“Robin and Roman were friendly and accommodating during my dog Kepler's stay with them over a long weekend. I didn't worry about him while I was away. I was glad to get a meet and greet before the stay, it made me and Kepler more comfortable on the real drop-off day.”

“Autumn and her partner are fantastic doggie lovers! Our dogs have never been with anyone other than family and they were so comfortable and happy in this home. They got along swimmingly well with resident dogs Sarge and Spud. We received daily updates with fun photos. We really felt like our sweeties were cared for and had a much better experience staying here than at a kennel or having someone check on them occasionally at our home. Thank you for caring for our babies <3. We will definitely hire you again when the need arises :-)”

“Becca was wonderful! We traveled for 2 weeks and while I was really anxious to leave Molly for such a long time, she made the process a lot easier for me! She was in constant communication, sending updates and pictures, and she never hesitated to ask me questions about Molly's care which I loved! Molly looked happy and well cared for when we got home. I would definitely recommend Becca and will be using her services in the future!”
