“What is a pet parent’s worst fear when going out of town? A health crisis. One of my cats developed an eye infection the night before we left on an international trip. She required eye drops and a cone (she was not my easy cat). I was incredibly stressed to leave, but Samantha was a true godsend. She handled all the changes - the drops, the terrified cat, the alternate setup for food/water due to the cone, hunting down my other cats to ensure the infection didn’t spread - with such positivity and efficiency. I work from home so I’ll be with your pup most of the day! I usually take my dog out in the morning for a walk and let him out in the afternoon and then after work for another walk. I have a backyard, live near a dog park and have lots of nearby areas to take walks! I keep things that could be unsafe out of reach. I have plenty of dog toys in my home.

“Outstanding Care! Finding an exceptional pet sitter for your furry family member is not easy so we felt incredibly fortunate to find Jared. He took care of our Frenchie, Halo, for 17 nights, and despite the initial stress of leaving him for so long, Jared immediately put our minds at ease. He has a calm, confident presence so Halo warmed up to him immediately, even though it normally takes him a bit. Jared was incredibly diligent with all of Halo's specific instructions, including feeding him his fresh food diet, putting on his bug collar before walks, and using his cooling neck gator when the weather was a little too warm. Jared even took it upon himself to eliminate any chance of Halo running out the front door by putting up a puppy gate. Jared’s communication was also outstanding – we received daily and detailed updates that included photos. What truly set him apart was how he handled things when Halo unexpectedly got sick. Not only did Jared take Halo to the vet and later drive back to pick up his medication, he also prepared special meals for him and ensured he got all of his medication right on schedule. On top of the incredible care, Halo had a blast playing with Jared’s dog, Maui! It was clear Halo was not only safe and well-cared for, but genuinely happy, which made our trip worry-free. About: I have been blessed with many wonderful pets in my life, both big and small! I currently own a horse, Felix. Unfortunately, my dog Alfie passed at 17 years old in January. Although I am not quite ready for a new in home pet of my own, I'd love to help you with yours! I have owned both cats and dogs through my life from puppy/kitten stage to senior life. I have experience with watching dogs, cats, and horses. I have no problem administering medication and I'm comfortable with all ages, sizes, and breeds. 95% of my job is working from home, because of that I am quite flexible in my schedule. On occasion, I do travel for work/personal but will do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My home is pet free, which means your pup will get my full attention! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. I have a nice sized patio that is fully covered. The area has a lot of green space and sidewalks perfect for a long stroll. There is also a dog park available if your dog particularly enjoys being social. I allow dogs on my furniture and bed, however have no issue with sticking to the rules if that is not part of your daily routine.

“I truly cannot say enough incredible things about Bassam. I booked with him on less than 24 hours notice during a stressful situation, and he showed up in every possible way, and then some. While traveling on a work trip, my pup had a medical emergency, and Bassam didn’t hesitate for a second. He took him to the vet on my behalf, carefully followed through on all instructions, administered medications, managed diaper changes, kept him clean and comfortable, and closely monitored his behavior every step of the way. The level of attentiveness, responsibility, and compassion he showed gave me complete peace of mind in a situation that could have easily been overwhelming. Communication was exceptional. He sent frequent updates, photos, and videos throughout each day, which made such a difference in helping me feel connected and reassured while I was away. Beyond the emergency care, it’s clear that Bassam genuinely loves what he does. He has created a true “pet oasis” at his home. My boys had the best time exploring his huge backyard, playing, sniffing, and socializing with other pups. They came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Bassam goes above and beyond in every sense. His attention to detail, his calm and capable presence, and his genuine love for animals set him apart in a big way. It’s rare to find someone you trust this completely with your pets, and I am so grateful we found him.
