About: Vacations shouldn't just be for the pet parents, the pets should get a new fun experience too. This is why I strive to keep in step with your pet's routines whilst also adding some fun enrichment, ample physical activities, and extra helpings of love and attention. In addition to walks; if your dog is a social butterfly, like me, and they frequent the dog parks; let's go! I have a vehicle built for pet field trips/adventures! I have a gift for helping injured or sick animals recover as well , I just haven't had the opportunity to care for a special needs dog yet. That being said, I am willing to learn and follow your routines for them. I am very dedicated to learning more pet care skills. I even rehabbed an injured squirrel for about a year until she returned to the wild. So, I am skilled in helping pets that may need extra help/care or medical issues that require a little more attention. I am also a Licensed Massage and Cupping Therapist, though I am not certified specifically in pet massage, when I do give a dog a massage....They LOVE it! I am also willing to care for pets other than dogs or cats; within reason of course....not sure I am equipped for Lions, Tigers, or Bears... OH MY! So, reach out let's set up a meet & greet; I would love to come out and meet you and your pets to see if we are a good fit! I have most days free. I occasionally do some pick-up work on some nights here and there, however, it would not be for a great deal of hours, and I am able to get home (or to your pets) at a decent time on those evenings. I do prefer to meet both you and your pets first, before taking on a care request, to assess safety for myself and the pet as well as understanding their surroundings. This allows me and you to evaluate if we are a good fit. I believe this is the first step in creating a solid foundation for a safe and fun experience for all involved. Especially, until your pet(s) and I get to know each other better, I would say I am hypervigilant in the beginning; not just for safety precautions but also to understand their routines, needs, communication styles, learning styles, training levels, etc... I am at their side anytime we go out. Even if you have a fenced in backyard I will either be out there playing with them and helping them get in some physical activity or I watch them closely from a window or door. As we learn more about each other, I take great care in developing solid communication with your pet so that they can understand and respond well. The more "simpatíca" we are, the more trust is built, the better responds to commands, which in turn strengthen that foundation of safety. Beyond the pet safety, If I am house sitting for you, I strive to keep your home safe and clean. I will respect and protect your home as if it were mine. Even If I am not house sitting and only doing drop-ins or walks. I will stay observant and keep your home safe as well; let you know if anything seems amiss, grab your mail so no one knows you aren't at home, rotate which rooms lights are on in your house, etc... A safe environment means a safe pet! I am also good at communicating with the pet parents throughout my booked care time via pictures, videos, texts, and calls. My goal is to make sure no pet parents even have to wonder how their pet is doing. I prefer to keep you in the loop so it's not you having to reach out to me. Communication is key for creating the safest most comfortable environment for any pet.

About: I have lived with/cared for dogs my entire life, and though I would consider myself a “dog-person” - I love spending time with all animals! I work from home so I have tons of flexibility for daily drop-ins, walks, and boarding needs. I have an almost-3 year old dog at home that I take on multiple daily walks, as well as a fenced in backyard, and she loves hanging out with new friends! I have been fostering for the last year, so have welcomed many different temperaments into our home and have gained experience in administering medication and dealing with high stress/anxiety animals, and can read body language extremely well. I can accommodate many different needs for any pet - senior dogs and puppies are welcomed. I’m very excited to have the opportunity to meet and hang out with your beloved pets! I work from home, so pups staying with us are rarely left alone except for maybe an hour or so if I need to run errands or have plans. Would prefer all boarding animals to be crate trained, just in case of emergencies. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly dog who loves making new friends! I live in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of streets to walk and get energy out - and can also offer training, if interested, for mental stimulation as well.

About: I have cared for cats and dogs at all life stages and I have experience giving medication, giving lots of love and attention, scratchies and play time! I have a flexible schedule and have availability to do drop ins, walks, and feeding 7 days a week at scheduled times for dogs and cats. I am also open to day boarding your pup up to 50#. For Drop in visits I will make sure your fur baby has fresh water, potty break, loving, play time and treats if allowed. I will also bring in mail/packages if you would like. Daycare in my home I have 1 cat and 1 dog, a crate if needed and fenced back yard. Your pup must be up to date on all vaccinations, flea and tick, and heartworm and provide proof of records. Your pup must be house trained and well behaved in order to day board and a scheduled meet and greet in my home prior to care, for the safety of all of our fur babies. I will not accept dogs that display aggressive behavior towards people or other pets.

About: Hi I’m Lindsey! New to Knoxville, I recently worked at Stand For Animals in Mooresville, NC as a Veterinarian Technician during COVID-19 in 2020. My duties included: drawing up vaccines, cleaning surgery supplies, creating surgery packets, assisting the vet during surgeries, office visit care, etc. I have worked at Dunlap Veterinary clinic since I was 16 years old. Here I was a kennel assistant. Duties included: Supervise and care for all animals that are boarded in the kennels (cats, dogs, small pets, etc.) -Mentor and train new employees, advised in certain areas to help them succeed in the job. -Clean kennels for all animals, walk dogs, distribute medicine, feed and water all animals, bathe dogs, cut toenails, exercise dogs, engage in playtime with all animals. -Aided Veterinary Technicians in giving shots, fluids, x-rays, and drawing blood when needed. I have been living with cats since the day I was born and absolutely love them! I frequently have dog sat beforehand too while living in multiple states including Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina. I love all dogs and cats, no matter the size, breed etc. I have great experience will all animals - even exotics as I have volunteered at 2 animal sanctuaries and have a bearded dragon! I have had hands on experience working with elderly animals including giving care for Diabetics and hearing/vision impairments. I currently have one cat Norman, and a bearded dragon Hiro! My family pets include 2 kitties Mason and Emma and an 11 year old Cocker Spaniel mix Maddie. I am here to ensure that your pet feels safe and content when taking care of them. And of course love on them endlessly! Available on weekends and weekdays after 3 pm! I work M-F from 8am-3 ish pm. I will be able to help out anytime after I am off work! I will ensure to abide by all rules, whatever is needed for the pet, and be respectful and love on your baby! I want to make sure that they are happy and so are you.

About: I am Vet Assistant and also currently enrolled as Veterinary Technician student from Penn Foster. I also have had animals my entire life and currently have 2 cats and 2 dogs (a black-mouth cur mix and a yorkie mix). I have several years of experience as an in-home caregiver so I am very familiar with navigating other's homes with respect while caring for a family's loved ones. Saturday: 9am- 9am(next day) Sunday: 9am-3pm Overnight stays available on Friday and Saturday Please let me know at least an hour ahead of time if the appointment needs to be canceled. Pets are essentially family so I will treat yours with respect and love as if they were my own. If there is any specific directions for your pet then they will be followed. I am capable of walking, crating, and playing with larger breed dogs. I understand some cats may be more "moody" than others and I have one with an attitude myself so I'm comfortable caring and handling less agreeable pets as well.
