About: I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I’ve lived with and cared for animals ranging from small pets to large dogs my entire life, including senior pets and those with special needs. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m attentive, patient, and happy to provide whatever extra care your pet may need. Whether that means accommodating mobility limitations, administering routine care, cleaning up accidents, or simply providing some extra love and attention, I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they are in my care. 🐾❤️ I’m a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, so my weekdays are generally busy with classes until noon. I’m typically available after that and have plenty of flexibility on weekends! My schedule can vary, but I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits your pet’s needs. Feel free to reach out, even if you’re not sure my schedule will work, just ask! I do not currently have the means to care for pets in my own home, but I am able to meet your pets at home and provide care however necessary!
“Emily is a wonderful walker, she keeps pace with my big boy. Fast walk or a lazy walk, and I love the pictures she sends with each walk. I would highly recommend Emily.”

“Elle is the very best! Conscientious and loving towards our cranky old dog, she won him over and we all are so sad to see her go onto bigger and better things! (Especially Woody!) Thanks Elle! You rock and deserve only the highest of praise! I give you SIX stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’m currently a college student, but I only have to be on campus two days a week for a few hours, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’ve completed multiple pet- and house-sitting jobs for friends, family, and people who were referred to me through them. My stays have ranged from a few days to a full week. I have experience caring for small dogs, large dogs, and cats, and I’m comfortable learning and following each pet’s individual routine. I also have two pugs of my own who I regularly care for while my mom is at work and I’m doing my classes from home. Taking care of my own dogs has given me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and making sure they get the attention and care they need. I also have experience caring for both indoor and outdoor houseplants, so I’m happy to help keep your plants and home cared for while you’re away. Over time, I’ve found a special love for caring for animals while their families are away. I know that being away from their family and normal routine can be stressful for pets, and it makes me genuinely happy to be there to give them comfort and attention. I love being able to help them feel safe, happy, and cared for until their family comes home. I understand that pets are family, and I take that responsibility seriously. My goal is to give every pet the same patience, love, and care that I would want someone to give my own. My schedule is very flexible, which allows me to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I have two classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a break between them that gives me time to check on pets if needed. I also currently work as a host about 2–3 days a week, although with school starting I may reduce that to around 2 days a week. I’m careful about balancing my work and school schedule so that I can still be available for the pets I’m caring for. There will never be a day where my school and work schedule keeps me away for an extended period of time without being able to check on your pets. I want you to feel confident that your pets will receive the attention, care, and companionship they need throughout your time away. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get their walks and exercise, and receive plenty of playtime, attention, and companionship. I also understand that every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow specific instructions and routines that help them feel comfortable while their family is away. For house sitting, I treat my client’s home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m happy to bring in mail, care for indoor and outdoor plants, and keep the home clean and tidy while I’m there. My biggest goal is to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both the pets and their owners. I want pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home until their family returns. I am no stranger to asking questions when instructions are unclear or if I am unsure about something while house-sitting

I unfortunately cannot provide in home services at this time, however in clients homes I will follow whatever rules, schedules and procedures that are given to me. I am also a very outdoorsy and energetic person so playing or being up will not be a problem.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I grew up with cats, a St. Bernard, as well as farm animals including cows and chickens, which gave me experience with pets of all sizes and personalities from an early age. Today, I’m a proud cat person with four cats of my own and a very loved granddog who keeps me active and reminds me how important daily walks and attention are for happy, healthy dogs. Friends and family regularly trust me to care for their pets while they’re out of town, whether that means drop-in visits, staying with them, or making sure walks, feeding, playtime, and cuddles all happen on schedule. About: I have taken care of dogs that needed to take medicine and have dog-sat one hybrid dog for the past 9 years. Depending on the amount of time I am able to have with the pets, we often go for 3-4 hour long walks/runs a day. I do work full time away from home. I’m looking to make some extra money while in-between jobs so I can pay bills. But I am extremely passionate about animal care, and I’m hoping if this turns into something long-term then both you and I will be happy. I am unable to provide home services through my own place because my complex does not allow animals. But the environment I can provide is walks, jaunts to dog parks and—if permitted—hikes on fun trails.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
