About: Hi I’m Lindsey! New to Knoxville, I recently worked at Stand For Animals in Mooresville, NC as a Veterinarian Technician during COVID-19 in 2020. My duties included: drawing up vaccines, cleaning surgery supplies, creating surgery packets, assisting the vet during surgeries, office visit care, etc. I have worked at Dunlap Veterinary clinic since I was 16 years old. Here I was a kennel assistant. Duties included: Supervise and care for all animals that are boarded in the kennels (cats, dogs, small pets, etc.) -Mentor and train new employees, advised in certain areas to help them succeed in the job. -Clean kennels for all animals, walk dogs, distribute medicine, feed and water all animals, bathe dogs, cut toenails, exercise dogs, engage in playtime with all animals. -Aided Veterinary Technicians in giving shots, fluids, x-rays, and drawing blood when needed. I have been living with cats since the day I was born and absolutely love them! I frequently have dog sitted beforehand too while living back home in Illinois. Our family finally got a puppy 3 years ago and while she is quite a challenge, she has taught me a lot and has grown a lot since her first day! She is a cocker spaniel mixed with king charles - she is definitely crazy cocker but gives love like the king charles. I love all dogs and cats, no matter the size, breed etc. I have great experience will all animals - even exotics as I have volunteered at 2 animal sanctuaries and have a bearded dragon! I am here to ensure that your pet feels safe and content when taking care of them. And of course love on them endlessly! Available on weekends and weekdays after 3 pm! I work M-F from 8am-3 ish pm. I will be able to help out anytime after I am off work! I will ensure to abide by all rules, whatever is needed for the pet, and be respectful and love on your baby! I want to make sure that they are happy and so are you.

I provide safe, nurturing care for your fur babies, and I am confident in giving medication to animals as directed if needed. I love going on runs/walks/hikes so if your fur baby needs some energy burned, I can help! I currently work a consistent rotating schedule. I'm always off 2 or 3 days in a row. So, on the days I'm off work, I'm home all day and can provide constant companionship to your animal! I have a fenced in backyard and pets roam free throughout my house! They are more than welcome to relax on the furniture (unless you would like otherwise). If your animal may need crating I don't mind as long as a crate is provided. They can be let outside anytime they need and I have one fur baby to keep them company. My dog's name is Drax and he is a lab/husky/German shepherd mix who is a huge teddy bear. He wants to be everyone's best friend! He is young so he can run and play all day, and gets along with all types of animals! I do not mind if you'd like your animal(s) to meet him (a meet-and-greet) before they would spend more time with him as well. There is also a hiking trail near me that ranges from 2-5 miles that I go on near daily, and I don't mind bringing them with me on my adventure when I go!

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I love all animals, and they have been therapy for me. I treat my own dogs like family and they are SPOILED. I have 3 dogs and they are very friendly. Since I no longer live at my parents house with them, at least once a week I take them to get a treat from the pet store or a pupacino from Starbucks after they’ve had a bath. If you’re more strict with your animal I will follow your guidelines, but if you like to spoil them I will love to! I’m good with understanding each animals boundaries and what they are comfortable with. Your animals are well taken care of with me! I have experience with many other animals besides dogs. I’ve cared for monkeys, ferrets, cats and dogs. I haven’t cared for but have knowledge and interacted with snakes, birds, pigs, and horses. I’m decent with training, although I like to stick to your guidelines for consistency. I used to live with my parents and helped take care of 3 dogs. The two “biggies” would sleep with me every night. I now have a rescue cat named Jasmine. I free feed her, meaning whenever her bowl is empty I give her more and let her eat as she pleases. She is picky sometimes so after a few hours I exchange the food if it hasn’t been eaten. She’s an indoor cat and requires little maintenance. Pet care is now my full time business. I’m still at the beginning stages, but working hard to make my dream come true. Caring for animals is my calling. Eventually, I would love to have a sanctuary of my own. I love sending pics of your babies while I’m sitting them. I’m also pretty good at communicating. If I am unsure about something I always ask. Just let me know how often you’d like me to check in while you’re gone:)
