About: Hi! I'm Jessica, and I'd love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own. As a teacher and mom of four, I'm dependable, patient, and responsible. I've always had a deep love for animals and understand that pets are cherished members of the family. In addition to caring for my own pets, I've volunteered at animal shelters and have experience fostering animals, helping them feel safe, loved, and cared for while they waited for their forever homes. Those experiences have taught me how to work with pets of different personalities, energy levels, and needs. Whether your dog needs a walk while you're at work, drop-in visits, or loving care while you're away, you can count on me to provide plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and reliable communication. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved, and I'll treat your furry family member with the same kindness and care I would give my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and my goal is to give you complete peace of mind by providing dependable, compassionate care and regular updates while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! As a full-time teacher, I have a dependable schedule that allows me to provide pet care before and after the school day. I’m also available on weekends, school holidays, and throughout the summer, giving me extra flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, and extended pet sitting. My career has taught me the importance of reliability, communication, and responsibility, so you can trust that your pets will receive consistent, loving care whenever you need it. I understand that trusting someone with your beloved pet is a big decision, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is to provide a safe, dependable, and loving environment where your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I believe in open communication and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind. I treat every pet as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety, well-being, and individual needs. You can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and compassionate every step of the way.

About: Animals are my passion. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and currently have 3 dogs and two cats of my own. I have a senior dog that requires daily medications, with a specialty in hiding the pill 🤭. I also foster dogs for local rescues and shelters and will dog sit when other fosters are out of town. I truly can’t wait to spoil your fur baby. They give love with no conditions and deserve the same back ❤️. I have the flexibility to drop in as needed! I do have a young child and am usually not able to do overnight stays at this point, but will update as that becomes available in the future. Volunteering in the local shelter has given me some experience in making a dog that I meet for the first time more comfortable. I’m happy to do whatever your pet needs to feel at ease.

I am detail-oriented and will follow your directions to a tee. I also love snapping cute pics of your pet to keep you updated! I am a big animal lover! I have helped care for family members pets my whole life. I am a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky. During undergrad, I fostered dogs and volunteered through the Lexington Humane Society. This work was so fulfilling and allowed me to provide shelter dogs with socialization and get them adopted! I would love to hang out with your furry friend(s) while you are away! I recently moved to Knoxville to start my Masters program at the University of Tennessee in August. I have classes at night Monday-Thursday and will be working 4 hours a day Monday-Friday, so I have flexibility to care for your pet(s)! About: Hi! My name is Madi and I am a student at UT and am looking to continue petsitting while away from home in the Nashville area. Not only do I have 2 fur babies of my own, I have built strong relationships with families I have worked for 3+ years and see their pets as my own now. I have had dogs my whole life, training and caring for my 2 girls now since puppies. I have a true understanding and love for pets and their needs, petsitting professionally for around 6 years for dogs all aged and sizes. I don’t mind a dirty task, giving medications, strict schedules, rambunctious pets, or even weird pup quirks. I have been blessed with the best job in the world to petsit and babysit throughout high school, and am looking forward to continuing until I become a nurse! I will be a full time student at the University of Tennessee, besides class and the regular college events I have a super flexible schedule and am happy to fit the needs of your family any day and time. I can do absolutely anything needed to make your fur babies happy and comfortable while you are away from home. I am looking to build trust and strong relationships with the families I work for, where they can leave and feel at peace knowing their dogs are taken care of, I even love to send pictures! I am flexible to be where, when, and what you need.

About: Beverly here!!My entire life we have always had pets around. I have cared for dogs small and large. I have experienced with many animals from cats to goats. I love animals and have a hard time not referring to them as people.I have worked with puppies and also older dogs. I help care and walk my family and friends animals. I have experience with staying overnight and also just drop ins or day walking. I really care for the animals and love each personality they each have. I love to take an animal on car rides or a run on the road. If a pet is in need of bathing I have experience washing both large and small dogs. I am currently working full time. My schedule is Sunday to Wednesday 6-4:30. I am able to care for an animal before and after work and also on my days off. I know this schedule is ideal for all families but some are comfortable with it. I would be available to walk your pet as little or as much as they require. Whether it’s playing fetch or taking a walk exercise is needed for pets and I’m happy to help with that.

Hila is absolutely amazing! She’s great with communication, very flexible, and so willing to help. What I appreciated most was that she took the time to get to know my doggie, instead of simply coming by to walk him. She made an effort to understand his personality and get to know him. It made me feel much more comfortable and confident having her take care of him. I highly recommend Hila and would definitely book with her again!

  • 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
