I’ve been caring for dogs year-round since my teenage years, regularly dog-sitting for friends and family and gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’ve raised and cared for two dogs of my own in both urban and rural settings in East Tennessee, which taught me how to adapt routines, exercise, and enrichment to different environments. As a current dog owner, I understand how important consistency, patience, and genuine affection are when trusting someone with your pet. Dogs have been a constant part of my life, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own-safe, loved, and well-understood.

As a dog owner, I understand the importance of safety and trust when leaving your cherished friend with another. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and household instructions closely, and I keep the home clean while I’m there. For dog walking and enrichment, I tailor each walk to the dog’s age, energy level, and needs, whether that means a relaxed stroll, structured exercise, or mentally stimulating activities like sniff breaks and basic reinforcement. Safety is always my top priority, and I make sure dogs are properly leashed, hydrated, and supervised at all times. I communicate consistently with pet parents through updates and photos so they feel confident their dog is receiving attentive, reliable care.

This was my first time booking with Colby and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. He is very kind, showed up on time and lefts notes. Our two dogs enjoyed Colby. When we came home they both acted fine where in the past it took some time. He was able to give us a peace of mind. Highly recommend and will be booking him again on our next trip.

Colby was great. He was able to help us out at the last second with two drop in visits. Colby was prompt, friendly, and took great care of our pup. She was a happy doggo when we arrived home. The play pics let us know Dottie was in good hands. Definitely recommend.
I can’t say enough good things about Colby. He provides truly safe, loving, and attentive care, treating every pet as if they were his own. His patience, kindness, and calm presence immediately put both pets and owners at ease. I always felt confident knowing my pet was in capable, responsible hands. When my dogs came home, they were not only happy and well cared for, but noticeably well mannered, which really speaks to the environment and structure Colby provides. It’s clear that Colby has done an excellent job training his own dog, and that knowledge and consistency carry over to the care he gives every pet. He is reliable, professional, and goes above and beyond to ensure everything is handled exactly as requested even providing medication to one of our dogs twice a day. Beyond being an exceptional pet sitter, Colby is simply a great person: trustworthy, compassionate, and deeply committed to doing the right thing. Anyone who chooses Colby can feel confident their pet will receive not only excellent care, but genuine love and attention. I would recommend Colby without hesitation.

Schedule
As a part-timer, I wholly devote those weekdays I am not working to providing quality dog care for your pet, whether that be sitting, walking, or supervising. Often times, I am available weekends as well.
