About: I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I’ve lived with and cared for animals ranging from small pets to large dogs my entire life, including senior pets and those with special needs. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m attentive, patient, and happy to provide whatever extra care your pet may need. Whether that means accommodating mobility limitations, administering routine care, cleaning up accidents, or simply providing some extra love and attention, I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they are in my care. 🐾❤️ I’m a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, so my weekdays are generally busy with classes until noon. I’m typically available after that and have plenty of flexibility on weekends! My schedule can vary, but I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits your pet’s needs. Feel free to reach out, even if you’re not sure my schedule will work, just ask! I do not currently have the means to care for pets in my own home, but I am able to meet your pets at home and provide care however necessary!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 10 years old. From volunteering at shelters to working as a veterinary assistant, I have gained experience with working with various kinds of pets (i.e. dogs, cats, birds, small mammals and reptiles). Aside from my work experiences, I have also cared for pets of my friends and family. My dedication and love for animals has allowed multiple people to trust me with caring for their pets. As a pet owner myself, I understand that they are our family members and I would be honored if you entrusted me with their care. I am currently a student at UTK, however my schedule is very flexible. Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and the weekend are days when I am most available When I come to your home to either walk or check on your pets, I make sure that your pet is well engaged by offering enrichment and socializing with them.

About: I grew up with animals, so I learned how to care for them at a young age. My sister worked with a dog training company and often employed my help. Whatever your furball needs, I am the girl! I am a college student who is going to be home for summer break, and I’m looking for a fun way to earn some cash. I will have a lot of free time this summer, so I am excited to get to spend it with animals! I have cared animals of all types (horses, chickens, etc) so there’s nothing new under the sun for me. If you prefer your animal to be crated or in the backyard while I’m away, I have no problem with that. I pride myself on being flexible and adaptable.

About: Just kidding, I do love a lint roller. Dogs have the kindest souls and should be treated as such. I've had a dog the majority of my life, starting with a Visla, mixed breed bulldog, and a black labrador retriever in our house when I was a child. I have owned two mixed american staffordshire terriers and a golden retriever myself. When I write it all down, it seems like a lot. I've cared for them as puppies, through life, surgeries, and health, and at the end of life. I am gentle and let dogs interact with me on their terms. I am open to caring for all types of dogs. I am a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, so my schedule is very flexible. I also don't get a lot of vacation time, so I'm usually in Knoxville. I can care for pets throughout the day, doing my lab work intermittently. I treat my client's home and pets with the utmost respect. I am there to do the job for which you hired me and nothing else, and you can count on me for it.

About: In addition to having dogs of various breeds for the majority of my life, I have been dogsitting for the last two years. I am also experienced with dogs of all ages and breeds as a result of working in dog daycare facilities and in grooming salons across the last three years. I also volunteer with the animal shelter in the area, so I know how important it is to meet dogs where they're at. I currently spend about one day a week volunteering with the local animal shelter, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I look forward to spending my time with your pets! I currently have two cats of my own, so I am unfortunately unable to bring any more pets into my own home. However, I am happy to enforce your pet's existing routine within the comfort of their home.

About: I typically work as a nanny, but often find myself caring for furry friends as well. I have had pets for as long as I can remember: three yellow labs and two cats over the past 15 years. I love to keep pets active, engaged, and well-fed! I am a future doctor who is dependable, enthusiastic, and very consistent. I am a doctoral student in Knoxville who loves animals! I do not haveany pets of my own here, so I would love to care for your babies! I do not plan to offer services in my own home, because I have four roommates. However, in your home, I will maintain a clean environment, respect the space, and work to make your pet feel like nothing is different while you are gone! I am comfortable with light housekeeping and whatever else your family may need.

About: With 10 years of experience in caring for dogs, I’ve developed an unmatched understanding of canine behavior, health, and happiness. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of sharing my life with some truly special dogs, each of whom has shaped my approach to pet care in unique ways. My journey began with my beloved Sparkles Jane, whose sweet and gentle nature taught me the true meaning of loyalty and companionship. She was more than just a pet; she was a friend, a teacher, and a source of endless love. While Sparkles Jane is no longer with me, the lessons I learned from her continue to guide my care for all dogs I encounter. I’ve also had the pleasure of caring for Patches, whose playful spirit and affectionate personality brought joy to every moment. Through these years, I’ve learned the importance of patience, consistency, and the deep emotional bond that forms between a dog and their caregiver. Now, I’m lucky enough to spend time with my sweet Beau Beau and Chippy, two dogs who continue to hold a special place in my heart. I absolutely love house-sitting for Beau Beau and Chippy, providing them with comfort and companionship whenever I’m back home. Their personalities are a perfect reminder of why I’m so passionate about what I do—every dog is unique, and they all deserve love, attention, and care tailored to their needs. Having lived with dogs my entire life, I understand the importance of building trust and creating a safe, positive environment where dogs feel comfortable and loved. Whether it’s providing extra care for a senior dog or engaging in playful activities with a younger dog, I know how to cater to their individual needs with kindness, expertise, and a lot of love. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares for dogs and has a decade of hands-on experience, I’d be honored to care for your furry family members. With my background, I promise to provide them with the highest level of attention, care, and companionship they deserve. Hello! I'm a passionate pet lover and a dedicated remote worker living in Knoxville with my wonderful wife. With the freedom of a fully remote job, I have the unique ability to work from anywhere in the world, which gives me the flexibility to travel at a moment’s notice and provide pet care when and where it’s needed—day or night. This flexibility makes me the perfect choice for your pet care needs. Whether you need someone to look after your furry family members while you're away for work, vacation, or any other reason, I’m available to provide reliable, loving care. My remote work setup means I can easily adjust my schedule to be there for your pets, ensuring they get the attention and companionship they deserve while you're not around. I understand how important it is to have a trustworthy and responsible person looking after your pets, and with my lifestyle, I can offer that peace of mind. I am committed to giving your pets the care and affection they need, and with my ability to travel anywhere, I can step in and provide exceptional care regardless of the time or place. If you’re looking for someone who has both the experience and flexibility to cater to your pet care needs, I’d love to help. Let’s connect and see how I can make your life easier while providing your pets with top-notch care! As a pet lover with a deep passion for animal care, I treat every pet I look after as if they were my own. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or even bath time, I pour all my love and energy into making sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I understand how much pets mean to their owners, and I’m excited to spend time with your little one, showering them with the care and attention they deserve. I truly believe that pets are more than just animals—they’re family. That’s why I approach every task with the same enthusiasm and dedication I would for my own pets. Whether it’s a lively walk around the block, a fun game of fetch, or simply cuddling up and relaxing together, I’m always excited to bond with your pet and provide them with companionship and affection. Bath time? No problem! I make sure it’s a gentle, enjoyable experience for your pet, leaving them feeling refreshed and pampered. And when it comes to feeding, I stick to their usual routine and ensure they’re getting the proper nutrition to stay healthy and happy. With my attention to detail, love for animals, and commitment to giving your pets the best care possible, you can trust that they’re in loving hands. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
