About: Hello!! My name is Ashley and I have taken care of animals my entire life. I had a ranch for over 2 years and have been riding horses for 10+ years. I currently have my EMT certification and have taken care of very large animals. I love animals of all shapes and sizes!!! Please feel free to reach out and ask questions. :) I had trouble finding people who could let my dogs out to go potty on those 12 & 24 hour shifts. About: Just a quick note my wife is pregnant and likes to come with me on walks and drop ins, let me know if that’s an issue :) I’ve owned dogs my whole life and have a lot of hands-on experience caring for them. Over the years, I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, family, and people I didn’t personally know through pet sitting. I’m comfortable with everyday care like feeding, walks, playtime, bathing, nail trimming, and giving medication when needed. I also have experience with mild dog training and working on basic manners and routines. I understand that every dog is different. Some need lots of exercise and attention, while others are happier relaxing and sticking to their normal routine. I do my best to follow each owner’s instructions and make sure their dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re away. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and treating them like part of the family. Pet care fits easily into my routine, and I’m able to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I make sure I have enough time for feeding, walks, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention. I understand how important it is for pets to stay on their normal routine, so I do my best to follow the schedule and instructions each owner provides. I’m also flexible when it comes to drop-ins, walks, and sitting, and I always make sure I have the time needed to give each pet proper care rather than rushing through a visit. Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for someone else’s pet. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walking routines, and any specific rules for the home. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other areas are secure, and I keep a close eye on pets during walks, playtime, and visits. I also take the time to learn each pet’s personality, habits, and comfort level so I can help them feel safe and relaxed while their owner is away. I treat every home with respect and every pet like I would want someone to treat my own. I also believe communication is important, so I’m happy to provide updates and let owners know how their pet is doing while they’re in my care.

About: I have experience caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I’ve lived with and cared for animals ranging from small pets to large dogs my entire life, including senior pets and those with special needs. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m attentive, patient, and happy to provide whatever extra care your pet may need. Whether that means accommodating mobility limitations, administering routine care, cleaning up accidents, or simply providing some extra love and attention, I want every pet to feel safe and comfortable while they are in my care. 🐾❤️ I’m a graduate student at the University of Tennessee, so my weekdays are generally busy with classes until noon. I’m typically available after that and have plenty of flexibility on weekends! My schedule can vary, but I’m happy to work with you to find a time that fits your pet’s needs. I do not currently have the means to care for pets in my own home, but I am able to meet your pets at home and provide care however necessary!

About: As a former teacher, I’m used to creating routines, following specific instructions, and making sure each individual feels safe and supported. I am currently between jobs, so I have a completely open schedule! I am a recent masters graduate of Milligan University, and I am free most days during the day. I also have availability on the weekends. About: I’ve always LOVED animals of any kind. (Used to want to be a vet but realized it was too hard to see animals in distress). We’ve had dogs and cats in our home since I was a little girl. I’ve had over 10 years of experience taking care of dogs, cats, and other small pets for friends, family, and neighbors! About: Rover has been such a great experience, getting to know different families and different breeds of dogs. It’s so much fun!!! I took some time off when we moved to Tennessee but I’m ready to meet some new fur friends. I have 2 of my own and love to see all the different personalities of each animal. I still keep in touch with some of my furry friends. I get so close to them (and their owners). You trust me to care for your fur family, so we become family. About: I am a caring and attentive individual who absolutely loves my pets and treats them like family. Located near the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains. My home is the perfect home away from home for you pet while you enjoy your vacation. I occasionally care for my neighbors pets with drop in visits at their home when they are out of town. I am home all day with my fur babies. I would be able to care for your pet and give it all the attention and love it needs. I have a fence, but not completely closed. We are working on getting that done soon. I do have a small fence closed in around my patio so the dogs can freely hang outside with me. During potty breaks I will make sure to have your pet out with a leash at all times. I have 2 friendly dogs as well. If your pet needs to be crated I can do that also.

About: I have raised two Australian Shepards myself. I have taught both of them all the basic commands myself. I am very patient and understanding. I just love being around animals as much as possible. I will give your pet plenty of attention including playing and exercising your pet. I am perfectly fine with treating your pet like my own or setting boundaries if you do not allow your pet on furniture. I also have experience with caring for horses. So I have no problem dealing with large dogs

Frankly I’m trying to get into better shape, so taking your dog on a walk is good exercise for me! Haha I’ve always grown up around animals, and currently have a cat and dog of my own, so I’d be perfect for your needs. Let me know if I can help! I’m currently a stay at home mom, so I am able to fit in walks or drop ins throughout my day. I am pretty open most days or can rearrange my schedule to meet needs I will be careful to respect your home/property when I am visiting to care for your pet. When walking dogs I make sure they are properly attached to a leash prior to leaving and prior to leaving your home I will make sure your pet is in good shape and the home is how I found it

I have been a dog owner all my life. I have worked in an adoption center, participated in foster / adopt transportations, and have fostered. I have never been able to leave my furry friend with a boarding service for fear that something would happen or he would get lonely. So I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust to take care of him/her until you return. Your pet will be part of our family. I've never been restrictive to my pets so yours will be allowed as much freedom as you would like him/her to have. **Please note: I do NOT go by the time frames that Rover gives you. I have no way of showing my availability for each day, so when you put those in they may not match my actual availability. I will NOT honor those times since I have no control over them. Please make sure we finalize drop off times BEFORE booking a stay with me. I'm happy to work with you while I can for drop-offs and pickups, but there might be times when my schedule is not going to allow me to be as flexible. Right now I'm not currently accepting pick ups or drop offs on Thursday evenings after 5 pm or Sunday mornings. My husband and I are both active with our church and those times are dedicated to that. I'm also closed for drop offs and pick ups on Saturdays all day. While I have guests in my care during that time, it's my one day "off" each week to not be tethered to my house. I do have two children, a twelve-year-old and a nine-year-old. Both are used to being around dogs, but for the safety of all involved, I require a meet and greet to make sure everyone gets along. Please see additional information about meet and greets below. When we leave the house, I will never leave your pets mixed with other pets. I'm happy to crate your dog if that's what they are used to or they will be given their own room while we're away. I will never leave your dog mixed unsupervised with my dog or other dogs I'm watching. Everyone's safety is my first priority. I can provide my cell so you can get in contact with me at any time. I also provide pictures/videos via text. I'm working on doing better to show them on Rover. One of the things I will tell you from the get go is my house gets a little crazy sometimes. I do my best to provide updates once a day while you're away. I also tell my clients to message me if they haven't heard from me and would like an update. I do my best to be responsive in a timely manner. However, I also expect my clients to understand that I do have a life outside of pet sitting and sometimes that life gets in the way of my being able to respond right away. Please show a little grace when asking for updates on your pet. We love them like our own so they just join in our family life which doesn't always include having my phone glued to my side. I'm a homemaker and homeschool mom. I am around a lot of the time and there is plenty of outside time for my guests. The reason my schedule may look blocked off is because of the time required for my guests, my kiddos, and my job. My husband also works from home full time now. He does assist with the pups sometimes but I do not rely on him for meet and greets, drop offs or pick ups. Crates are not required, but if your dog is used to being crated I can provide for that. I will also crate a dog if they are found to be destructive or are untrustworthy when we are out of the house. I also will not keep dogs that are food aggressive. I separate everyone to feed them because I understand the nature of most dogs is to be protective of food. However, if a dog shows aggression towards another dog when food is present or while we're in the kitchen around people food, that is not something I am comfortable with for safety reasons. We homeschool and I work from home so we're home a lot of the time. With that said, we do have lives and go places. I try to be as accommodating as possible, but please keep this in mind. Your pup will be integrated into our household with my own. We're in and out a lot so potty breaks and playtime naturally happen throughout the day. I provide overnight services out of my home as well as doggy day care. We have a fully fenced yard with an automatic locking gate to keep people from opening it when they come for pickup. When you come to my house, you'll park in my driveway and then enter through a double set of people gates to your left.
