About: In addition to having dogs of various breeds for the majority of my life, I have been dogsitting for the last two years. I am also experienced with dogs of all ages and breeds as a result of working in dog daycare facilities and in grooming salons across the last three years. I also volunteer with the animal shelter in the area, so I know how important it is to meet dogs where they're at. I currently spend about one day a week volunteering with the local animal shelter, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I look forward to spending my time with your pets! I currently have two cats of my own, so I am unfortunately unable to bring any more pets into my own home. However, I am happy to enforce your pet's existing routine within the comfort of their home.

About: I have taken care of many fur babies since I was 6 years old. Most of the family animals have had health issues that has taught me how to administer medication, give baths, clip nails, and more. Cat and dog friendly! I am available everyday of the week except Sunday 11am-11pm! I can also stay in home over nights upon request. Sundays reserved for sittings only. I currently have two cats who are very shy so I do not offer over night stays in my own home. However, I am more than happy to do over nights in the clients home. I have experience administering medicine by pill & injection. I also have experience in nail clipping & bathing of both dogs and cats. I love all the fur babies out there and am excited for them to love me too!

About: Hi everyone! I’ve been pet-sitting since I was 15, and walking dogs since I was 10 years old. I have pet-sat a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and guinea pigs. I also have experience with any age or health status- senior dogs, kittens, medicated pets, etc. In general, I’ve experienced many different circumstances, so I can adjust easily. Animals have been a lifelong interest for me. I was the girl begging my parents for a dog, and I take care of my current roommate’s cat frequently while she’s away. I promise to nourish, entertain, and take care of your pet like they’re my own. I'm currently a college senior, though I only have on-campus classes twice a week. This means I can be present quite often for your pet. 4-6 hours or more between feeding/potty breaks is ideal for me. Besides that, I'm quite flexible. In my college house, we already have a cat, and my family back home has a dog; needless to say, I'm used to caring for pets in my free time. I can only pet-sit at the client's house. Due to my roommates and the cat we have, I'm unable to board a pet. I always keep a close eye on the pet's behavior and ensure they're fed on time every day. If they get into something, I'll clean them up no problem. I also have a list of emergency vets I'm prepared to go to if the client doesn't have a preferred vet of their own. However, my specific care of the pet(s) depends on the client's instructions and preferences.

About: I am new to rover. I thought this would be a fun experience, and so loving. Dogs are such good therapy. I have two golden retrievers. Ages 8 and 4. I know what it is like to have to leave your dog and always hope that they will get just as much love from the sitter as they do at home. I promise to give your animals just as much love as they get at home and make sure he is comfortable while you are away. I work full time Monday thru Friday and im home weekends. I currently work full time. But I work from home. I’m able to go to your home on my lunch break and when I get off work to care for them. I have a fenced yard and two dogs to keep your dog company. I can crate your dog if needed. Mine are not crated anymore.

About: I have had cats, reptiles, dogs and fish my entire life! I have had big dogs, small dogs, kittens and geriatric animals. I currently have three dogs at home and two of them are seniors one is a little dog and one is a Rottweiler they they are on medication so I am extremely familiar with senior dog care. I currently care for one cat at home who is 2 and have three more back in Chicago two are kittens and one is 16 so also lots of experience with cats old and young. I was my neighborhoods pet sitter and have had experience with all animals! I have a cat that I care for everyday and I am very timely and consistent with care and feeding. He is extremely independent so that allows me a lot of time to take care of other animals which I am very familiar with when I go back to Chicago and seeing all my dogs and cats! I am super flexible and adaptable like I said I have dealt with all types of ages and breeds so I can handle a lot. I understand and respect boundaries with animals and will follow the owners instructions. I love playing with animals and going outside or to the park/beach so I am more than willing to do whatever is needed to provide the best and safest care.

About: Hi there! I’m Ansley. I live in South Knoxville and work in animal science. I have over 10 years of experience caring for other people’s animals, and nearly 22 years of caring for my own pets. I worked in both small and large animal vet clinics as a veterinary assistant, so I’m comfortable giving medications and treating ill or elderly pets. I have two Labrador retrievers (6 years old and 6 months old) and a Manx cat that needs extra attention due to some health issues. I’m a very active person and frequently walk or run with my own dogs, so if you’re just looked for the occasional walk to get your pup’s energy out, I’m your gal! I also have a fenced in backyard so if you’re interested in a play date, message me and we can work something out! My boys love new friends. Unfortunately, my cat does not do well with other cats, but he LOVES dogs. He was a rescue as a kitten from the clinic I worked in, so he grew up around the dog boarding kennels and 100% thinks he’s one of them. I know Rover is for dogs and cats, but if you or anyone you know is looking for assistance with farm animals, I can help there too. I currently work in the dairy industry but have experience caring for all livestock species. I have BSA and MS degrees in Animal and Dairy Science. I’m available mostly during weekends and evenings during the week however my job is flexible and I can do drop in visits during my lunch, as well as on my way to work in the mornings. I’m happy to provide drop in visits and walks in client’s homes. As mentioned previously, I do have animals of my own and would be open to bringing a dog to my house if they are friendly and play well with others. I have a fenced in backyard that my dogs love. I cannot bring other cats into my house due to my own cat’s distaste for others, but he is fine with dogs.

About: I'm available Mon-Sun!!! I have over 40 years experience, walking, training, taking care of dogs, giving medication. I've been rescuing for years and was a Petco groomer for a little while. I'm responsible and very loving to all dogs to all animals. Being responsible to you I will always be in contact with you through the phone and send pictures of the walks, and or the stay with me. I've taken care of my own and took care of Teddy and Sammy until they passed naturally with cancer. I have Nero and Feisty now. I've also taken care of friends and my families dogs for over 40 years. I walk my dogs every day even when it was cold out for many years. I understand how important it is for a dog to be walked, it's best for their health. I've rescued all my dogs, and have been devoted to the end. My home is clean and spacious, I leash my dog every time he goes out, as I would yours. I have a natural affection and love for all dogs. I take this position seriously, your dog is family and safe with me. I'm not working full time now, so I have the time to devote to you pup or cat. Please give me a days notice. Since we are in heavy tick and flea season please make sure your pup doesn't have any and is treated in case. About: I have 15 years of experience with caring for dogs, cats, and amphibians! I’m not much of a human person, but I will make an undeniable connection with your pet. I make sure they are comfortable with me before doing anything else. I have experience with oral medications for your furry friend and other accommodations they may have. About: I am 31 and I have worked in retail at a pet store and doggy daycare for the past two years. I previously worked at another dog kennel, where I would take care of dogs in the best way possible! I walk, exercise, feed, medicate, clean, and occasionally bathe dogs! I have dealt with senior dogs who must be medicate at certain times, to the smallest puppy who must eat at certain times. I am reliable, responsible, and will care for your fur baby like my very own! I will say I am NOT good with plants, sadly. Not sure why. I water them and let them get sun but they still die. I killed my cactus in about 3 days 😐 If you have plants to care for I will water them and make sure they get enough sunlight, but that hasn't worked so far, but I will do my best! I have certian availability and reliable transportation, as well as a love and passion for animal care. I am willing to travel to meet you and your fur baby. I follow your exact instructions when it comes to the care and needs of your pets. When it comes to your pet's safety, I work diligently to protect your fur baby and keep you at piece of mind!

About: I’ve owned 2 dogs, now help with my dad’s dog, have watched several seasons of dog training shows and just genuinely like animals. We have chickens, a cat and my dad’s (once upon a time service) dog with us as well. I’m currently caretaking for my father with the help of caregivers and do not have major obligations during the day and have my youngest still at home with me so I’ll have plenty of time to dog walk or just check in on them while you are away. We currently have my dad’s service dog and I had two dogs growing up whom I loved dearly. I have also had cats and my daughter currently has one whom I care for since my daughter is young. I feel each individual person cares for their pets in the way that is best for them. I will be sure to care for your animal in the way you believe is best!

About: I have had dogs my whole life! I also have worked at a dog kennel for 2 years. I clean kennels, feed, bathe, play, and love on animals all the time! I’m currently in PA school in Knoxville. Most days I’m in lecture 8-5 but everyday is different. If close enough to my school I can come during my lunch break and I can come after class as well. I am also open to the weekends! I can take your dogs on walks, I can play with them outside. I can easily crate them. I have handled all kinds of dogs: big, small, crazy, low-energy, etc.

About: I have a handful cats, but I also love dogs. Growing up with 5 dogs was my favorite part of life. I’ve been watching after pets since I was 13. I started watching my grandmas dog when she travelled. Then I watched my neighbors cat. It quickly escalated to watching friends and more neighbors. I then used Facebook market place for a while and now am using rover! Taking care of your pet is my first priority. I am available any day any time. I currently work from home and run my own schedule. I will make sure your pet is well loved and looked after. Nothing brings me more joy than getting to spend time playing with a cat or dog. About: I have had dogs, cats/kittens, rabbits, hamsters, rats, mice, fish, snails and hermit crabs. But I have pet sat all kinds of lizards, birds, ferrets, turtles and of course cats/dogs. I am comfortable administering medicine and have experience with fear reactive animals. If you’d like me to take your dog on a run/hike I would absolutely love to. I’m very active and love being outside. If your dog needs more mental stimulation I can play games with them/teach them some new tricks! I am a teacher so I can visit before and after work throughout the week, and since i’m off on the weekends, I can be more flexible then! Unfortunately I cannot bring cats/dogs to my home unless my dog gets along great with yours! I could potentially bring animals that live in a cage though. I’m very comfortable visiting animals in their own homes, as that is usually less stressful for them!
