About: I am currently a small animal veterinarian licensed in both Kentucky and Georgia, but have been in the veterinary medical field since 2009, starting out as a vet assistant. While I have enjoyed helping animals throughout my veterinary career, I have decided to step away from the long, demanding hours of clinical medicine in order to have a better work-life balance so that I can spend more time with my family. Pet sitting allows me to continue doing what I love, which is caring for animals. As a veterinarian, I have worked with all ages and breeds of dogs and cats, and I am comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with special medical needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a senior with more in depth needs, my goal is to make every pet feel comfortable and loved while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, providing regular updates, photos, and plenty of attention so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or help with a pet who needs a little extra time and attention, I'd love to meet you and your best friend! As a veterinarian transitioning away from full-time clinical practice to create more time for my family, I now have the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for pets throughout the day. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or medication administration, I can easily build my schedule around each pet's individual needs. Caring for animals has always been more than just my profession, it's something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you're away.

About: I have experience with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and some medical conditions. For the last 3 years, I have been the sitter of choice for my friends and family looking for pet care while out of town. I specialize in basic dog care and training, but also love taking care of cats as well! At home, I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I am currently a full time student at the University of Kentucky. You can expect early morning visits and afternoon visits if requested every day of the week. I can also offer midday visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In your home, I will care for your pets as if they are my own. I will ensure they are fed on time and given plenty of time for social interactions and potty breaks/walks. I will do everything I can to ensure your instructions are followed as best as possible.

Over the years I have cared for (and loved .. and certainly have been loved by!) many dogs and cats (and other pets).. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets. Thank you .. I always like to spend as much time as possible your pets, whether the pets parents are working during the day, or the family is on vacation. Whether you prefer your dog (s) walked and/or playing in the yard-- or just a potty break and quality indoors playtime/hangout time... I'm excited to help; I am also available for overnight visits, if that's something you're interested in for your pets. I enjoy it, and it really bonds me with them (obviously the more time spent with them, the more comfortable the pets are with you). I love cats, too! Fish, you name it. I am new to the area, and looking to continue doing what I've done for 20 + years: My time is very flexible (*especially now just getting started) and prices are flexible. I like to spend as much time as possible with the pets! I am certainly willing to spend a lot of time with them. Excited to become fast friends with your pets! I do not live alone-- so I have always cared for pets in the client's home (or other friends and family) ... I will do whatever the client wants, and stick as close to the routine as possible; Dog walks, and/or playing with dogs inside the house (and in yards), and caring for cats inside the home are perfect. I am more than happy to adapt and do what pet parents ask, and love them as much as possible until they are back in your care.
