About: I have owned dogs my entire life and held many dog-sitting jobs throughout college. I am very intuitive and know the Capital Region well, so I am able to find the best walks and treatment specific to your pups! I enjoy being active and am excited at the opportunity to keep your dog healthy and active as well. I also have a car so getting to and from your home will be done with ease so I can focus my time on caring for your dogs with long walks, playing and feeding. I work remotely, so I have some flexibility with scheduling. I am open to dog-sitting at your house as I have done for up to two week periods of time for families with many dogs throughout DC. I work remotely, so I’m able to be very attuned to your pup and their needs! On demand walks and cuddles during the day are my favorite. I have a fenced back yard, but am open to staying at your home as well. We can work out what is best for your pup.

During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving Coco and the house behind. About: I grew up on a ranch in Vail Arizona and I have extensive experience in caring for animals of all breeds and species! I have one rescue dog (chihuahua) along with one snake and a bearded dragon. I understand that our pets are our family—often feeling like our own children—and I carry this sentiment with me when I care for other’s pets as well. I’m a part-time substitute teacher (I used to teach English in New Orleans before taking a break!) and I have a flexible schedule with summers and holidays off. I have an open yard on fish creek but I use leads for outdoor time, I welcome pets who are safe with this arrangement, are crate trained and who can get along with my friendly chihuahua Minnie who is also crate trained. When caring for a pet in your home I appreciate detailed information and I will never hesitate to reach out if I am curious or confused. If ever an emergency occurs and I cannot get ahold of you my judgment as a mother, an educator and a pet owner will dictate my actions.

He is incredibly friendly, trustworthy, and respectful. We’ve were given updates throughout the day, and they all brought smiles to my husband and I’s faces. We also needed care beginning in the very early morning, and he was still perfectly on time and ready to go. We will absolutely be booking with him again in the future - highly, highly recommend! 😊”

About: I very recently got into pet sitting when two family friends asked me if I'd be interested in taking care of their Mini-Schnauzer and housesitting while they were away. Not too long after that, my cousin asked if I could watch her good boy, a sweet black pittie lab mix (pictured in my profile!) During the process of watching these dogs, I found that I genuinely enjoyed taking care of and spending time with them. So here I am! I don’t have pets of my own, so when I’m housesitting for your Dog, he/she will get my full attention. I’m responsible, respectful of your home, and happy to stick to your pets’ routines — whether that’s walks, playtime, or just companionship. Two people I’ve sat for have already offered to provide references, and I’d be happy to share those upon inquiry. If you're looking for someone dependable and dog-loving who will treat your home and animals with care, I’d love to connect! I have a flexible service industry job that works with my schedule. Adjusting my hours, should I need to for walks, playtime, feeding, etc., will not be an issue. While I am housesitting for you, I stick to your pet’s usual routine — whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I adjust to each pet’s specific lifestyle and needs, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions. I’m very communicative and send updates and photos frequently, so you know how things are going.

“Kerrie is a wonderful pet sitter! She took great care of my baby dog for five days. I felt absolutely comfortable leaving my dog with her and it was the first time leaving my 7 month old puppy. Kerrie sent photos, videos and let me know how Marlee was doing regularly. She played with her and had puzzles and toys ready to keep my dog busy. Marlee seemed completely at ease and she was happy playing with Kerrie’s puppy Sadie. I highly recommend Kerrie and am already planning another trip knowing that my dog will be in such good hands!”
