We had a last minute death in the family and Jana was able to come with very little notice and stay in our home while we were away. We even had to extend our trip and she was able to move some things around to stay and take care of our babies for an extra 3 days. She was extremely communicative sending us photos and updates daily. We left the house in such a rush things were a little messy but she was kind enough to wipe down the counters and do the dishes which we really appreciated- she even washed her own linens from the guest room she was staying in and made the bed for us. I know that all of our animals were happy and taken care of and we will definitely be using her again.”

About: I have always loved animals and aspired to be a veterinarian. I will genuinely care for your dogs and treat them as if they were my own. I am a full time school psychologist with a husband and two young children. I will be available to care for pets on weekends and evenings. If close enough to my work, I can let dogs out on my lunch break. I have a fenced yard with two dogs. A lab and golden retriever mix and a bichon/maltese. I also have two cats. We have structured feeding and time outside for the dogs. The cats are indoor and regularly have food out and balance their feeding over time. I can also do basic grooming.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life and started pet sitting when I was 14. I have looked after many different animals including dogs, cats, lizards, and a spider! I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior animals and animals with disabilities as well. I am currently working a part time job so I will have plenty of time to walk and play with your pets! If I am needed on an hourly basis, let me know two weeks beforehand so I can schedule time off work. I can stay overnight at your house if needed I will not bring your pets over to my home because my own dog is unsure about other animals. I like to stay with the animals for two hours each time I check in on them to keep them company and to play with them. I can also stay overnight and all day if needed.

About: I love the dedication and unconditional love that dogs provide their human companions. I will admit that personally I have cats, and they just don't do that all the time :) I have dog-sat for friends over several years providing feedings, walks, and playtime to Malteses to German Shepards. I love getting to know each dog and treating them as if they were my own, which means they are usually going to be pretty pampered. If your dog needs specialized care, I would be willing to learn. I don't really know what specialized care entails for a dog, but feel free to message me and we can discuss. I am a high school teacher so my availability is afternoon/evenings and weekends during the school year but wide open once it is the summertime. My cats are not used to dogs, so caring for dogs in my home would mean they would be spending time outside. However taking care of dogs in their home allows them to be comfortable, have rub my belly sessions (if that's what they like), and take walks in the area that they are most comfortable.
