About: I currently work as a veterinary technician and have been in the veterinary medicine field for six years. Growing up, I had a feisty miniature dachshund and a goofy golden retriever. When I moved out, I got my own dynamic duo over the years- a chihuahua mix (Brulee- like the dessert crème Brulee) and three years later an Australian shepherd mix (muffin). Brulee was a very opinionated and particular girl while muffin is a gentle soul and afraid of her own shadow. I am fear free certified and have been since I entered the vet med field, it is something that is very important to me and I practice it with every animal I interact with. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. If they have special needs, behaviors, or quirks please tell me everything- I want to know all about your pet! Their comfort as well as yours is of the upmost importance to me. I love taking dogs on walks and hikes, allowing them to set the tone and pace- if they want to speed walk, we can do that or if they want to take a leisurely stroll sniffing every blade of grass that is fine too. I will keep your dog leashed the entire time we are out of the house, unless we are in an enclosed backyard. I do not take dogs to dog parks, unless have a well-established recall and if you request me to. However your pet wants to play, I am game- we can play ball, tug of war, hide and seek, or treat puzzles- whatever gets them excited! I am happy to medicate and feed your pet as needed. I prefer to meet you and your fur baby beforehand to ensure safety and it is a good fit! I currently work from home full time and pick up shifts at clinics when I can. My schedule hours vary so I can be available at normal or obscure hours. As long as we can find a window to make it work, I am happy to be flexible for you and your fur baby! I will care for your pets and home like I care for my own. If your pet has specific needs or if you have special requests, I will do my best to fulfill them to keep you and your pup happy, safe, and comfortable!

About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 4 years and working as a Veterinary Assistant for 2 years. I’m currently in school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician at UC! I have always loved cats and have never lived without one. I currently have two of my own that I treat like royalty. I’m trained to administer oral medication, insulin, subcutaneous fluids, and inhalers. Whether your cat is a zooming baby or a sleepy senior, I’m here to give them the best care! I am currently in school on weekdays from 10am until 3:30 pm but I’m available to visit your cat before and after these hours. I always respect the environment I’m in and I pledge to leave every space I’m in better than how it was when I entered. I will pick up/removal all hazards such as strings, plastic bags, or other hazards that cats can choke on, swallow, or get tangled in. I triple check all exits in the environment are secured before leaving to prevent adventurous cats from leaving. Maintaining the litter box is imperative to me due to the effectiveness of monitoring health and preventing hygiene issues. Safety is always my top priority.

“Alexa was truly a cat whisperer with my two cats. She approached them on their terms (because cats don’t always warm up immediately!!) and I was rewarded with many pictures and videos of both my cats enjoying her company. She made sure to play and snuggle the cats, giving them fulfilling visits alongside the basic food/litter necessities. I also appreciated that she paid careful attention to the litter habits. I have two boys, and those are known to get urinary problems as they are older. She did a wonderful job communicating her visits and sent plenty of pictures and videos so I could get my cat fix from afar! Alexa also proved flexible when my flight was almost cancelled, confirming that she would be available to continue checking in on them. I’ll definitely book with her again!!”

About: i’ve been around dogs my whole life! my favorite being german shepherds but my love for dogs in general is unconditional. cats are definitely growing on me as well. pets are nothing new to me and i’d love to get to know yours!! I have a somewhat flexible schedule. i am available throughout weekdays as well as weekends.However, I do work and go to college, but i want to dedicate the time i do have to taking care of your pets! i’ve had dogs for pets for as long as i can remember so it’s safe to say your dog and i will get along very well. cats are undeniably drawn to me for some reason and i embrace it every time. i have a fence around my house for my german shepherd, Amelia. i love taking her for walks and i’ll do the same for you dogs. i love cuddling with my girlfriends cats and i’m sure your cats will be very happy to hear they can have some love from me too!

About: I’ve cared for many types of animals of different shapes and sizes in various animal shelter, grooming, and veterinary settings. From pets, to livestock, and exotic reptiles. I’m currently a veterinary technician student as well. Your Companion deserves Time, Love, and Care and my purpose in life is to provide them that. I’m very passionate about this line of work. About: Doggies have been a fascination of mine for as long as I can remember. You could say I’m Dogs’ Best Friend! I’ve cared for pups as small as Yorkies and as big as Golden-doodles. Not only do I love dogs, I’ve been told that all dogs love me! Currently, I’m a Stay-at-Home Fur Mama. I own an in-house Wedding Planning Business so I have a plethora of time during the 9-5 to devote to your babies! We have a fenced in yard and a sweet 15-month doggo that loves making friends! Fostering taught me the importance of patience, creating a calm and safe environment, and helping an animal adjust to a new home and routine. I provided daily care, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, playtime, and plenty of affection while monitoring the cat's comfort and well-being. This experience strengthened my understanding that every pet has a unique personality and needs individualized care. Whether I'm caring for a playful kitten, a relaxed senior cat, or an energetic dog, I'm committed to making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable! My schedule allows for flexibility throughout most of the week. I attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so I have limited availability during those times. Outside of those class hours, I am available for pet care services, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. I strive to be reliable and accommodating when scheduling visits, walks, or overnight care, and I will communicate promptly to ensure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. At my house I have a fenced in yard so my dog is protected from any of the animals around. Your dog’s safety and happiness always come first. I provide dependable care, constant supervision, and secure walks so you can feel completely at ease.

About: I have always been around various breeds of dogs from different types of training. I was always the one to jump up when it came time to feed/walk/bathe/pill/groom the dogs around my family and the neighborhood. I have always figured out how to comfort and help the anxious or reactive dogs, my goal was and is to just help these animals exist as happily, heathy, and peacefully as possible. I’ve fosterf puppies, fostered and retrained aggressive adolescents, and nurtured seniors. They give true unconditional love, I only wish to return it. I have a pretty open schedule currently, so I can easily adjust my schedule to make sure your pet gets the most fulfilling experience with my time with them. Although I cannot watch your dog at my own home, I am willing to monitor your dog through the entire visit to ensure they do not cause damage at your home or to themselves. I know plenty of ways to stimulate your pet inside and outside.

About: I take great pride in the fact that I’ll treat your animals as if they were my own! I’ve handled reactive pets and have had to administer medications multiple times a day to pets as well. I’m an early bird and love to stay busy! I work as a bartender so I have plenty of time on my hands and have a flexible schedule to take great care of your loved ones I have two wonderful fur babies that I walk regularly. They get many treats. I’ve worked with reactive dogs so that is not something I’m scared of handling!

About: We both grew up with dogs and have always loved them. We are proud owners of 2 rescue dogs and love socializing our pups with new dogs and new experiences. Rachel previously volunteer trained service dogs for 4 Paws for Ability. When your pup stays with us, we will spend time playing, walking, running, visiting a local dog park, or cuddling on the couch. We use positive reinforcement to train dogs and correct behavioral issues. We are happy to provide baths if the dog gets dirty with us. Dogs must be up to date on shots. We are mostly available on weekends, since Rachel works as a school counselor during the week and Nick works in finance. We hope you choose us to watch over your precious pups!
