About: I’m 49 years old and have had the joy of caring for dogs throughout my life. I regularly babysit my neighbors’ dogs and genuinely love getting to know each dog’s unique personality. Because I work from home, I have plenty of time throughout the day to give your dog attention, companionship, and care. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. I have a small terrier of my own who loves having a friend to play with, so your pup can have a built-in companion if they enjoy socializing with other dogs. I also have a spacious backyard where dogs can safely play and relax, plus a dog park nearby for pups who enjoy getting out and exploring. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. I’ll take the time to learn what makes your dog feel at home—from their feeding schedule and favorite activities to their sleeping habits and any special instructions you provide. My goal is simple: to care for your dog the way I would want someone to care for mine. My cat, Butter, has asthma and needs inhaled medication every day, so I understand how stressful it can be to leave your cat behind when you’re at work or on vacation. That’s why I decided to become a Rover cat sitter: to help fellow cat parents feel confident that their cats are receiving the care, attention, and companionship they deserve. About: Animals seem to gravitate to me, I have never had an issue befriending a stray dog, cat, or even llama. I’m always that one guy in the room petting the dog. I have a natural knack for animal care as well and spend a lot of time just being friends with my pets. I am currently looking for a part time, flexible job that allows me to be with my family more. Therefore I am currently not working as I look and I am fully available. I have a couple of schedule items that I work around but overall I have a very open schedule that pet care will work wonderfully with. In my home we have more of a relaxed environment. Dogs are allowed to run around the home freely for most hours of the day. Cats are allowed to roam the catio outside freely. No cats are indoors and dogs are let outside twice daily to run and play and a third time just to use the restroom. Dogs and cats are fed twice daily and water is freely available. In a clients home I follow any guidelines they have.

Since I was a little, I’ve cared for family and friends’ pets — from silly cocker spaniels and lazy basset hounds, to big berneses and slobbery blood hounds — and I’ve always loved getting to know each pet’s unique personality. So much so, that seven years ago (in my senior year of college), I brought home my own boxer/pittie mix, Lucy. She’s been my best friend and constant companion, and I’m so blessed to have her. Pets become part of our families, and I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with them! Because I work remotely, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I am a big believer in being patient, attentive, and communicative. My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, happy, and loved while giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos! I work a fully remote job! My main tasks consist of random phone calls and emails (so wifi is definitely needed), but isn't consuming, so I have tons of down time, which means tons of one on one attention with your pup! In regard to housesitting, my goal is to be around most of the time, however I do have to step out from time to time for the occasional work meeting or errands. Since my job is so flexible, it allows me to maximize time spent with your dog, which means more playtime, more pets, and more attention! Given the nature of my full time remote work, I’m very detail-oriented, quick to communicate, and resourceful. I have my own back up leashes, back up poop bags, and respect house rules. I’m very adaptable, and dedicated to making sure to serve you and your fur baby in the best ways possible! About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, including my own. I’ve also helped care for family and friends’ pets through feeding, walking, playtime, and overnight dog sitting. Since my own dogs are older, I’m especially patient and attentive with senior dogs, but I also enjoy the energy and care that puppies need. I understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routines while their owners are away. I’m currently a college student home for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available Sunday through Friday during daytime hours, with Friday availability until around 3 PM. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and daytime pet care in clients’ homes. I currently provide pet care services in clients’ homes only so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routines. I have been involved in a charity called National Charity League and have volunteered at numerous places but my favorite place has been Special Pals and CAPS animal shelter!
