About: Animals seem to gravitate to me, I have never had an issue befriending a stray dog, cat, or even llama. I’m always that one guy in the room petting the dog. I have a natural knack for animal care as well and spend a lot of time just being friends with my pets. I am currently looking for a part time, flexible job that allows me to be with my family more. Therefore I am currently not working as I look and I am fully available. I have a couple of schedule items that I work around but overall I have a very open schedule that pet care will work wonderfully with. In my home we have more of a relaxed environment. Dogs are allowed to run around the home freely for most hours of the day. Cats are allowed to roam the catio outside freely. No cats are indoors and dogs are let outside twice daily to run and play and a third time just to use the restroom. Dogs and cats are fed twice daily and water is freely available. In a clients home I follow any guidelines they have.

There are people who simply provide a service, and then there are people who become an indispensable part of your life. Ariel is firmly in the latter category. She became a trusted partner during a particularly difficult chapter while I was recovering from major surgery. Knowing that Milo was in her care brought a level of reassurance that is hard to overstate. Aerial is dependability personified, always on time, often to the minute, with clear, prompt communication and remarkable flexibility whenever last-minute changes arose. Not once did those adjustments come with the slightest hint of frustration or attitude. She simply found a way to make things work. What truly sets her apart, however, is her relationship with dogs. She genuinely loves Milo, and it’s obvious he feels the same. She has the rare combination of warmth, confidence, and deep experience that allows her to take charge naturally. Her calm, capable presence inspires trust, and you immediately know your dog is in exceptionally good hands. My gratitude for Ariel goes far beyond dog walking. She provided peace of mind when I needed it most, and for that I will always be thankful. I recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for someone who will care for their dog with professionalism, reliability, and genuine affection. Absolute Gem!!

About: What sets me apart is the experience and love I bring from caring for my own six pets—four dogs, two cats, and even an opossum! I’ve always had a heart for homeless and rescued animals and take every opportunity to help pets in need. I’m patient, attentive, and passionate about making every pet feel safe, loved, and cared for like family. Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I currently work two jobs, and I use my free time to provide pet-sitting services and earn a little extra income on the side. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so it feels great to make extra money doing something I love. Caring for pets is something that brings me joy, and I’m happy to spend my free time giving them the attention, love, and companionship they deserve. I make sure every pet is well-fed, has plenty of fresh water, and gets their walks and exercise. I always make time for playtime and lots of love and attention. With the heat, I also pay extra attention to keeping pets cool and hydrated, making sure they are comfortable and safe while in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of my family members pets (including cats and dogs) and they had all said that they will repeat the experience of leaving dithering dogs at someone else’s home since they loved the way we treated the dog, the way he was able to adapt into a new home as well as the love we gave them. It perfectly fits due to the fact that I live with two dogs at home ( a golden retriever and a chihuahua) and they are used to go into a park and play with the ball, play with some other dogs and sometimes just chill around. I’m a dog lover in every sense, specially in the aspect of security since I have an eye on them at all time, I’m pending if they have water or food. In case the dog requires medication, I’ll have the different alarms he requires in order to take their medication

About: I’m an experienced dog trainer with a natural connection to animals and a deep understanding of canine behavior. My family and I give your four‑legged loved ones structure, affection, and constant attention, creating a calm, safe home environment when they need it, and a fun, playful atmosphere when laughter and energy are what help them thrive ⛵️ I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up caring for animals, playing in nature, and welcoming every furry friend who crossed my path. I’ve never purchased a pet as they always seem to find me first 😊 My daughters are the best affection‑giving, playful, and gentle training team! Together, we make sure every pup receives the love, patience, and individualized care they need; whether they’re puppies learning routines, seniors needing comfort, shy pups gaining confidence, or dogs who simply need extra reassurance and calm guidance. We’re comfortable with routines, medications, crate training, potty schedules, and helping pups settle in smoothly during transitions. Our home is gentle, structured, and full of love, perfect for dogs who thrive with consistency, warmth, and a nurturing touch. We welcome all pups sizes and colors ❕️ Pet care is part of our daily rhythm❣️ We naturally build feeding, playtime, walks, and check‑ins into our family routine, and we also include pups in simple daily activities with the kids, always respecting each pet parent’s instructions and comfort level. We keep a calm, structured environment, so whether it’s morning potty breaks, afternoon play, or evening wind‑down time, your pup is included in our schedule with consistent attention and care🤗 Your furry loved ones becomes part of our flow ! I keep a calm, structured environment where your furry loved ones are supervised, safe, and treated like family. I make sure each one feels included and supported, whether they need extra reassurance, confidence‑building, or simply a cozy place to relax. I’m attentive to their emotional needs as much as their physical ones, and I always follow each pet parent’s instructions with care🫶 When caring for furry loved ones in a pet parent’s home, I respect their routines exactly as written and follow instructions closely. I maintain a clean, organized space, keep feeding and medication schedules precise, and follow all household rules. I supervise pups closely, make sure they feel secure in their familiar environment, and send consistent updates so pet parents always know their furry loved ones are safe, comfortable, and happy🌞 I also pay attention to small details, from their favorite resting spot to their unique quirks, so they feel fully supported while you’re away.

About: I’m a very loving individual and you will see that. I steered into the Medical Field for a little but my heart is in animals and giving them the attention they need. I have worked at Rover Oaks as a Doggie Daycare attendant. From being bitten to having snuggling moments, I wouldn’t change my thought or reconsider any animal that I’ve taken care of. I have had animals my whole life. No dog/cat is too much for me. I love each one! I give baths and clip nails. As well as I can give medications if needed. I will be going to school to become a Vet Tech Assistant next year. I am CPR certified. I would be honored to take care and give love to your animals. I’m ready to meet your furry friends!

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs personally for most of my life. I’ve helped care for pets of friends and family who have depended on my care, attention and empathy for their animal loved ones. Attention to detail is important to me and I know the value of that when it comes to the care of each individual animal. I love to exercise so dog walks are a personal favorite! I also very much enjoy volunteering for cat care at Petsmart. I love to help and bring joy both to humans and animals alike. I’ve worked in a pet resort and learned the importance of top tier care and love to furry loved ones. I learned through the experience of checking in furry family members into the pet resort, the detail of their care, life routine, behaviors, medication scheduling and basic safety protocol for pets boarding and being with us for the day for daycare. I am currently a stay at home dog mom while I’m studying to become a teacher! My schedule mostly revolves around my life at home. I’m at home all day as a stay at home dog mom as I study to become a teacher! My focus is entirely on pet care and dedication to that in the meantime. I have an open, wide fenced backyard! Where we’ve taken measures to ensure the safety around the perimeter of the fence. I have a 1 year old half husky/German shepherd fur baby that would love to keep your furry family company and play with! I am extremely respectable of my client’s homes and property and treat it as an a rare place. All while I follow instructions for the upmost care for your fur loved one and make sure they feel right at home and I have them feel loved and safe in their own home.

About: I've not only got experience I used to breed pitbulls in texas and train dogs to remove aggression from them. I've grown up with all different types of animals and know well just how to manage them. I currently only work 2-3 days out the week doing firefighting those days change but this account is run by one other person my partner trang pham is always home making sure things run smoothly when on call was out doing wildland firefighting that's why the account was inactive for some time. I am a well organized constructed person depending on your demands and your pets needs I will manage a schedule around them and that they will enjoy if boarding for longer than 7 days I do free bathing but I always love teaching dogs tricks and obedience so training is always free.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wallis. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Wallis.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wallis. On Rover:

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
