I currently live in an anti‑pet apartment (tragic, I know), so I’m looking to fill that dog‑shaped hole in my heart by being the next best thing: your pup’s reliable walking and hiking buddy. I’m an active, outdoorsy person who loves long walks, trails, and exploring. Whether your dog is a tiny ball of energy or a large, gentle giant, I’m comfortable with all sizes, temperaments, seniors, and puppies. I’m active every day, walking, hiking, or spending time outdoors, so adding a dog to that rhythm feels like the most joyful part of my schedule. I have plenty of flexibility, which means I can plan walks around your dog’s needs rather than squeezing them into a tight window. (ADDITION: Until May 30th, I can only walk dogs on weekends because of my teaching and coaching schedule) Since I live in an anti‑pet apartment, all of my care happens in your home or out on the trail. I treat every dog like the big furry toddler they are, with patience, structure, and a lot of enthusiasm. Here’s what my care typically looks like: Consistent routines: I follow your feeding, walking, and potty schedule exactly as you prefer. Active outings: long walks or trail hikes for dogs who need to burn energy, or gentle strolls for seniors. Safety first: secure leashing, checking gear, watching for heat, and keeping a close eye on body language. Clean and respectful home care: wiping paws, refreshing water, tidying up any messes, and leaving your home exactly as I found it. Photo updates: I send regular pictures so you can see your pup’s adventures and feel connected while you’re away. Calm companionship: whether your dog is tiny and energetic or large and mellow, I match their vibe and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Because I’m free all summer, I can offer flexible scheduling, longer walks, and extra attention, especially for dogs who thrive on activity and routine.

About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills. I’m also comfortable handling more challenging dogs as one of my Chihuahuas was very aggressive, which taught me how to read body language and safely manage reactive pets, from a young age. In addition, I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs. I’ve helped raise multiple dogs into old age, including a German Shepherd that lived until 15, and a Labrador Retriever that lived until 17! I understand the gentleness, and care older dogs require. Overall, I bring a lot of confidence to this role because of my genuine understanding of dogs at every stage of life. I just finished my undergrad and plan to be home all summer. I begin graduate school in the fall online and will practically have no big everyday commitments. I have a few vacations planned but besides that I am an open book willing to work anytime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. (Dogs know their schedule!) I follow all instructions closely and carefully for any specific care needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I have cared for dogs that experience extreme distress from their owner being gone and I have developed my skills to better care for dogs experiencing this. I’m also very attentive to behavior and health, so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I respect my client’s home by secure and exactly as I found it. My goal is to make both the pet, and the owner feel completely at ease, just as I would want if my dog was being watched.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and done training and dog walking in a shelter as a volunteer. I love getting dogs outside and letting them run around. I have been hiking with my dog for his entire life and was able to train him on the leash and off the leash to allow us to have the freedom to run free and the ability to get him on the leash and behave around other dogs and people on the road and on the trails. I have been dog sitting for the last 8 years and love spending time with all the pups. I can’t wait to take care of animals and give them the necessary play time and exercise when you’re not there to. I keep my schedule updated to where I am unavailable when I work to allow for your pets to get the utmost care. However I am willing to work with you around my work schedule! I have experience with reactive dogs and I will keep your dog safe and on a leash unless in a fenced in yard. I prefer staying at the dogs home to help them stay comfortable

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. We have always had a pet for as long as I can remember. I love animals. I have taken care of puppies to senior animals. I have plenty of free time, so I would be able to keep your fur baby company anytime needed and give them lots of not only play time but affection. About: I love dogs and have worked with several families walking dogs in the mornings, afternoons amd lunch breaks. I have a 4 year old Pomeranian named Milo. He’s 5 pounds. He won’t be with me on walks or staying over at your house dog sitting. I’m very passionate about animals and love everyone of them like they’re my own. I will love on your babies and we’ll have a great time together. I love playing fetch and giving snuggles. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. I live on almost 4 acres now and a fenced in yard. I have my Pom. My mom is also living with me now in a basement apartment and she has two smaller dogs that are very friendly. They will be kept in the basement if I’m watching other dogs or having sleepovers. They will also be let out at separate times to put everyone’s mind at ease.

About: I’ve worked at a boarding kennel for 3+ years. I currently attend Shenandoah University so I am able to take walk on campus as well! About: I have lived on my parents farm my whole life. While growing up I helped raise: horses, cows, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, you name it. About 5 minutes from my home is a humane society where I use to volunteer as a dog walker and foster. I have experience in birthing and raising kittens, one of which I chose to adopt myself. He is a sweet tabby named Bruno who I have the uttermost privilege of loving. I have a sweet spot for pit bulls but ultimately I love all animals unconditionally. About: Hello! I am 23 years old and when I was 15-17 I helped train dogs including a service dog. I love all dogs and will always love your dog as well! I am looking for any opportunities that involve dog walking or dog sitting! I do not have my own dog but would love to have a golden retriever later in life! I am currently available all throughout June and July. August 3rd I will be unavailable because I start a nanny job that will be full time. I am just looking for specifically summer hours in June and July. I will help feed, get into crate, or “space”, if needed train, and go for walks with the dog. I will help in anyway I can.
