About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills. I’m also comfortable handling more challenging dogs as one of my Chihuahuas was very aggressive, which taught me how to read body language and safely manage reactive pets, from a young age. In addition, I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs. I’ve helped raise multiple dogs into old age, including a German Shepherd that lived until 15, and a Labrador Retriever that lived until 17! I understand the gentleness, and care older dogs require. Overall, I bring a lot of confidence to this role because of my genuine understanding of dogs at every stage of life. I just finished my undergrad and plan to be home all summer. I begin graduate school in the fall online and will practically have no big everyday commitments. I have a few vacations planned but besides that I am an open book willing to work anytime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. (Dogs know their schedule!) I follow all instructions closely and carefully for any specific care needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I have cared for dogs that experience extreme distress from their owner being gone and I have developed my skills to better care for dogs experiencing this. I’m also very attentive to behavior and health, so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I respect my client’s home by secure and exactly as I found it. My goal is to make both the pet, and the owner feel completely at ease, just as I would want if my dog was being watched.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. We have always had a pet for as long as I can remember. I love animals. I have taken care of puppies to senior animals. I have plenty of free time, so I would be able to keep your fur baby company anytime needed and give them lots of not only play time but affection. Calm companionship: whether your dog is tiny and energetic or large and mellow, I match their vibe and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Because I’m free all summer, I can offer flexible scheduling, longer walks, and extra attention, especially for dogs who thrive on activity and routine.

About: Hello! I am 23 years old and when I was 15-17 I helped train dogs including a service dog. I love all dogs and will always love your dog as well! I am looking for any opportunities that involve dog walking or dog sitting! I do not have my own dog but would love to have a golden retriever later in life! I am currently available all throughout June and July. August 3rd I will be unavailable because I start a nanny job that will be full time. I am just looking for specifically summer hours in June and July. I will help feed, get into crate, or “space”, if needed train, and go for walks with the dog. I will help in anyway I can.

About: - Please note: On my property I have created a private fenced dog park and will pick u your fur baby, travel to my private dog park, spend a few hours having amazing fun and then travel back home, happy as can be and exhausted! - I have been a volunteer and foster of shelter animals as well as rescuing and providing a forever home for animals for many years. I worked at a shelter for a short time before resigning to open my own animal rescue. Working at an animal shelter opened my eyes to so many issues and reasons why people surrender their animals. I am currently in the process of opening an animal rescue through fostering each animal while finding a forever home for them. In addition, my rescue will focus on educating the public on the responsibilities of owning an animal over its lifetime. Opening a Non Profit rescue is what I am doing in my spare time because I have to continue to earn a living to provide for my family. Dog/cat sitting is the perfect profession for me because I get to continue to work with animals on a full-time basis and I feel this is the area in which I thrive and can continue to help with providing the best care possible. Over the years I have learned something from every animal I have worked with and/or owned. In recent years, I have completed training in Behavior Adjustment Training and The DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK. I have the skills to know how to positively and appropriately approach animals as well as interact with them in a healthy way. In addition, I have the skills to quickly earn the trust of an animal. I am hoping that caring for animals will become my profession because I feel that I thrive in this area. Animals are the food for my soul and it would be a dream come true to work with them on a full-time basis. In my home and in my client’s home I practice what I have learned through attending dog training school as well as reading and practicing “THE DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK.” Through school and experience I have learned how to appropriately approach animals, how to interact in a positive manner and how to gain the trust of an animal. In addition, I have the skills to positively interact with animals that may have difficulty walking on a leash, excessive jumping and much more.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and done training and dog walking in a shelter as a volunteer. I love getting dogs outside and letting them run around. I have been hiking with my dog for his entire life and was able to train him on the leash and off the leash to allow us to have the freedom to run free and the ability to get him on the leash and behave around other dogs and people on the road and on the trails. I have been dog sitting for the last 8 years and love spending time with all the pups. I can’t wait to take care of animals and give them the necessary play time and exercise when you’re not there to. I keep my schedule updated to where I am unavailable when I work to allow for your pets to get the utmost care. However I am willing to work with you around my work schedule! I have experience with reactive dogs and I will keep your dog safe and on a leash unless in a fenced in yard. I prefer staying at the dogs home to help them stay comfortable

About: I have taken care of dogs for 3 to 4 years. I do have experience with cats as well. I enjoy making new friends and love playing, relaxing and cuddling, furry friends. I have watched dogs for friends for almost 3 to 4 years in a row. I’m currently doing in home care for clients and have tons of flexibility around that, as well as in school. I have most days free and would love to watch your furry friends! I always make sure to have whatever I need on daily walks if Dogs on meds I make sure they are given. I always make sure to leave the home as found, as well as follow instructions by clients.

About: I have lived on my parents farm my whole life. While growing up I helped raise: horses, cows, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, you name it. About 5 minutes from my home is a humane society where I use to volunteer as a dog walker and foster. I have experience in birthing and raising kittens, one of which I chose to adopt myself. He is a sweet tabby named Bruno who I have the uttermost privilege of loving. I have a sweet spot for pit bulls but ultimately I love all animals unconditionally. I’m open to any breed, and also any type of animal! My plan is to go to Veterinary school for a career, so i’m searching for any experience I can grab. I can offer love, kisses, hugs and more for your babies! We can’t always be home to show our animals the love they need, which is why i’m here to keep your animals company while you work, or cannot be home to do so! It would be an honor to meet all of the fur babies that I can! I am currently working 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday. I am available anytime before work and after work. About: Hello! My name is Katie. I have been caring for animals my whole life from cats, dogs and fish all the way to large farm animals such as horses. I am very active and would be more than happy to provide long walks or runs for active dogs of all sizes. I also love fetch, training and mind games as well. I have a fairly flexible schedule and can provide drop in visits, walks, and overnight stays! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, so very large or high energy pups are no problem! I am also more than happy to look after cats and other pets, and would be more than happy to care for house plants during long stays. I am clean and trustworthy, and I look forward to meeting your pup!

About: I have always loved taking care of and spending time with all sorts of animals. I have personally trained two of my own dogs and have helped out with training for friends and family. I have walked and exercised dogs of all ages and sizes. I have raised puppies and kittens from birth and am very experienced with care before and after birth for the moms. I have taken care of reactive dogs and have dealt with many aggressive of leash dogs. I am currently a student at my local community college and I’ll be fully online for the summer, so I’ll have lots of time to take care of your pets! I have experience crating dogs, being with them out in the yard, or just in the house. It’s up to you how you want me to spend the time with them, but I’d prefer to be with them the whole time! I can take long walks, play in the yard for a long time or I can just cuddle with your pet or give them their space if that’s what they prefer.

About: I’ve worked at a boarding kennel for 3+ years. I currently attend Shenandoah University so I am able to take walk on campus as well! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play! I am available during the week and on weekends! Please contact me for any needs you may have! I have a half way fenced in yard with plenty of room for fetch. I have easy access to parks as well as toys for the animals!

About: I love dogs and have worked with several families walking dogs in the mornings, afternoons amd lunch breaks. I have a 4 year old Pomeranian named Milo. He’s 5 pounds. He won’t be with me on walks or staying over at your house dog sitting. I’m very passionate about animals and love everyone of them like they’re my own. I will love on your babies and we’ll have a great time together. I love playing fetch and giving snuggles. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me. I’m not working at this time so I’m available Monday thur Saturday for walks. I can do walks or let out your pet if you perfer in your yard. I’m also available for sleepovers with your fur baby. I live on almost 4 acres now and a fenced in yard. I have my Pom. My mom is also living with me now in a basement apartment and she has two smaller dogs that are very friendly. They will be kept in the basement if I’m watching other dogs or having sleepovers. They will also be let out at separate times to put everyone’s mind at ease.

I have a side yard with a fence that would easily host a unleashed pet, or one who is safe to be off- leash. I have a small home with plenty of clean, welcoming space for the pet to roam. The area I live in is plenty friendly, and there is a not heavy traffic on my street - where I can walk or run with your fur baby. My home has space for a crate, however, I cannot provide it myself. But, feel free to drop all necessary items with your fur baby. In your home, I respect your space and simply care for the pets and their wellbeing.

About: I cared for my dog Bear for 15 years until he passed last year. I have experience caring for senior dogs, giving medication, lifting and assisting walking. We don’t have a fenced in yard but we have 10 acres for the dogs to walk and play. Caring for dogs fits easily into my daily routine. We love being at home and to have a dog enjoy the outdoor space makes it even better! I treat pets I’m taking care of like they are my own. I keep a close on them and monitor them to make sure they are comfortable and happy. I want them to feel at home.
