About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills. I’m also comfortable handling more challenging dogs as one of my Chihuahuas was very aggressive, which taught me how to read body language and safely manage reactive pets, from a young age. In addition, I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs. I’ve helped raise multiple dogs into old age, including a German Shepherd that lived until 15, and a Labrador Retriever that lived until 17! I understand the gentleness, and care older dogs require. Overall, I bring a lot of confidence to this role because of my genuine understanding of dogs at every stage of life. I just finished my undergrad and plan to be home all summer. I begin graduate school in the fall online and will practically have no big everyday commitments. I have a few vacations planned but besides that I am an open book willing to work anytime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. (Dogs know their schedule!) I follow all instructions closely and carefully for any specific care needs. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I have cared for dogs that experience extreme distress from their owner being gone and I have developed my skills to better care for dogs experiencing this. I’m also very attentive to behavior and health, so I can quickly notice if something seems off. I respect my client’s home by secure and exactly as I found it. My goal is to make both the pet, and the owner feel completely at ease, just as I would want if my dog was being watched.

About: I have taken care of dogs for 3 to 4 years. I do have experience with cats as well. I enjoy making new friends and love playing, relaxing and cuddling, furry friends. I have watched dogs for friends for almost 3 to 4 years in a row. I’m currently doing in home care for clients and have tons of flexibility around that, as well as in school. I have most days free and would love to watch your furry friends! I always make sure to have whatever I need on daily walks if Dogs on meds I make sure they are given. I always make sure to leave the home as found, as well as follow instructions by clients.

About: I love animals and have volunteered at Middleburg Humane Shelter and fostered for them for the past 5 years. My favorite types of dogs are larger working dogs, but the smaller pups require a more delicate skill set that I'm thrilled to provide. I have experience with dog training and am able to be as strict or lax with your pets as you'd prefer. I have open availability for pet care, especially when approached with a job further in advance. That being said, I do keep pretty regular hours and have plenty of time so I love my last minute clients too! I have two cats and a German Shepherd mix! I have experience with dogs, cats, smaller mammals, and horses! My sister and I do some agility work with the pup, and I love to take my cats on day trips with me- they both walk on a leash! I'm happy to send you all the pictures in the world of your animals while I'm with them, report to you the exact mileage of walks, and love to snuggle on the couch with them if I'm house-sitting. I don't mind if you have cameras in your house to watch your pets; I just appreciate being told in advance.

About: I have lived on my parents farm my whole life. While growing up I helped raise: horses, cows, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, chickens, you name it. About 5 minutes from my home is a humane society where I use to volunteer as a dog walker and foster. I have experience in birthing and raising kittens, one of which I chose to adopt myself. He is a sweet tabby named Bruno who I have the uttermost privilege of loving. I have a sweet spot for pit bulls but ultimately I love all animals unconditionally. About: Hi! i’m Samantha, im currently attending a local community college. I love working with animals! I currently own 1 cat, 2 lizards, and a super energetic Jack Russell Terrier! I have specifically have experience with new puppies, senior cats, & energetic dogs. I’ve worked with many different breeds, energy levels while pet sitting for family, friends, and clients! I also have experience with taking care of different plants and gardens while house sitting! Im typical available most of the day including weekdays, weekends, & holidays . I am a special education teacher during the week which makes my weekends fully available and my weekly hours shorter! About: - Please note: On my property I have created a private fenced dog park and will pick u your fur baby, travel to my private dog park, spend a few hours having amazing fun and then travel back home, happy as can be and exhausted! - I have been a volunteer and foster of shelter animals as well as rescuing and providing a forever home for animals for many years. I worked at a shelter for a short time before resigning to open my own animal rescue. Working at an animal shelter opened my eyes to so many issues and reasons why people surrender their animals. I am currently in the process of opening an animal rescue through fostering each animal while finding a forever home for them. In addition, my rescue will focus on educating the public on the responsibilities of owning an animal over its lifetime. Opening a Non Profit rescue is what I am doing in my spare time because I have to continue to earn a living to provide for my family. Dog/cat sitting is the perfect profession for me because I get to continue to work with animals on a full-time basis and I feel this is the area in which I thrive and can continue to help with providing the best care possible. Over the years I have learned something from every animal I have worked with and/or owned. In recent years, I have completed training in Behavior Adjustment Training and The DO NO HARM DOG TRAINING AND BEHAVIOR HANDBOOK. I am very active and would be more than happy to provide long walks or runs for active dogs of all sizes. I also love fetch, training and mind games as well. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, so very large or high energy pups are no problem! We don’t have a fenced in yard but we have 10 acres for the dogs to walk and play. Caring for dogs fits easily into my daily routine. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and done training and dog walking in a shelter as a volunteer. I love getting dogs outside and letting them run around. I have been hiking with my dog for his entire life and was able to train him on the leash and off the leash to allow us to have the freedom to run free and the ability to get him on the leash and behave around other dogs and people on the road and on the trails. I have been dog sitting for the last 8 years and love spending time with all the pups. About: I love all animals and adore big dogs and cats! Ive had many pets over the years from childhood to now. My family has cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, and even once had sugar gliders and a rat named master splinter! I have trained our boxer with simple skills when I was just in 5th grade! I am now caring for my sister in laws pit puppy Hank while they’re at work and have taught him to sit, give paw, and lie down in just 3 weeks! I’m great with hyper puppies and senior dogs as well.
