About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills. I’m also comfortable handling more challenging dogs as one of my Chihuahuas was very aggressive, which taught me how to read body language and safely manage reactive pets, from a young age. I can administer any medications needed. I currently have a fully blind hound dog with glaucoma that is also a diabetic requiring insulin injections along with oral medication and eye drops. Our beloved Bullmastiff, whom passed away in 2024 was epileptic and required 12 pills a day along with as needed rectal seizure meds so I am positive I can care for your special needs animals with just as much love and care when you are away. I have two elementary school aged children who can also assist with helping with your pets needs (if applicable & okay with owners) with my assistance to help learn responsibility, routines, a good work ethic, and be able to earn their own money and learn the hard work and value of a dollar.
