About: I have ample room and time to love on your fur babies!! I currently do not have any dogs but love them all! I also have a basement with a separate gate if your pet needs space by itself. I live close to the mountains so if you want to take the day to hike/explore sperryville I am your go to:) I work from home and love my animals!! About: Hello all! I’d love to help you with your pet care needs. I have had pets most of my life, and am the current owner of a 3 year old chihuahua mix, and an 12 year old chocolate point siamese. I started using Rover over the summer a few years ago and have had so many amazing clients! It has also been a great experience when it comes to socializing my young pup. Before using Rover, I took care of family members pets and would find my own boarding, dog walking and drop in clients. I currently do pet sitting in addition to my full time job. I work for a high school so I get plenty of dates off including winter, spring and summer breaks. During these times I’d be home full time. Otherwise, Monday-Friday I care for the dogs when I wake up, go to work, come home and continue their care. That’s pretty much all I do. I have a fenced yard that gives my boarders (as well as my pup) plenty of room to run and play! Boarders stay on the main level of my house and are allowed on furniture, unless discouraged by owners. You are more than welcome to bring anything you think would make your pet more comfortable during their stay (ex. Beds, crates, favor toys or treats). If you crate your dog/s at night or while no one is home, I will do the same. I work full time but can balance your pets needs with my schedule. They will have a morning routine of going outside to potty and eating before I head to work. I often leave a tv on for them and I also have cameras to keep an eye on them while away. When I return home, they will have free roam from being inside to going out to the fenced yard to play and explore whenever they would like. I’ll feed again in the evenings (based on your feeding instruction of course) and eventually tuck them in for bed. :) For boarding, your pet will have access to my fenced in backyard where they can play and explore. When I’m away from the house, I can crate your pet upon your request. I leave it up to the owner! Your pet will be boarded on my main level. I NEVER leave pets outside and unattended while away from the house.

We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and life stages. I’ve raised and cared for five dogs throughout my life, including Labs, Golden Retrievers, Chihuahuas, and German Shepherds, so I understand the very different needs of small, medium, and large breeds. I trained my own puppy from 8 weeks old, teaching her a wide range of tricks and good behaviors, which gave me a lot of patience and training skills. I’m also comfortable handling more challenging dogs as one of my Chihuahuas was very aggressive, which taught me how to read body language and safely manage reactive pets, from a young age. In addition, I have extensive experience caring for senior dogs. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. While with Jaime & Mike I saw that the whole family really looked after Max. During our time away they updated us with texts and pictures, and when we arrived to pick him up he was happily walking outside with Mike. He had a bed set up close to everyone so he wouldn’t feel alone. I would definitely leave him there again, you can tell they really like dogs and that makes a difference”
